Vacation rentals with a fire pit in South Side Flats, Pittsburgh

Great spot to go explore the city and in a short distance to all Pittsburgh has to offer, house was also very clean and beds were comfy. 10/10

Great place. Walkable, if you're comfortable with hills, to the Mexican War District and even North Shore downtown if you wanted to put in a couple of miles. The neighborhood was family friendly and quiet. Plenty of room and comfort for a couple or small family. Easy check-in and Lisa was available, proactive, and very responsive. Would recommend.

We had a great stay at the Glassy House! Super responsive hosts, beautiful space, and really well taken care of. The beds were very comfortable and the home was so clean. Kitchen and dining and living space were all very spacious for our group, and everyone enjoyed the arcade cabinet and big screen TV. The temperature control from the bottom bedroom to the top bedroom is tricky, but that's because of the home's layout- and our hosts did give us a heads up on that! Definitely plan for people to sleep in the bottom bedroom if they don't mind it a little chilly :) We would happily stay again!!

Highly recommend staying at this place if you are interested in the Lawrenceville area! It was very walkable to everything we wanted to do in the neighborhood. Parking seemed intimidating at first, but once we did it once it felt very doable. It also helps that Julie has a carport not far away if street parking is unavailable. The space itself is amazing! Very clean, extremely comfortable. Would love to stay again in the future!

My cousins and I really enjoyed our stay at this AirBnB to visit family. We weren't sure if we were going to have pet care or not, so it was great that the place was pet friendly so we could leave the decision to the last minute. Although we ended up not bringing our dog, we kept commenting on how much she would've enjoyed it! Beautiful outdoor space! The house was clean, and linens were all fresh with plenty of towels. There was trash left in the outdoor trashcans, but Lauren was very responsive and said pick-up would be on Tuesday so we should not worry. It was in close proximity to our family's home as well as downtown Pittsburgh! I think we'd definitely stay again!

We very much enjoyed our stay. It was a terrific location for reaching various destinations both downtown and otherwise. The neighborhood seems to be in transition, with Garrett’s place being among recent investments. Furnishings and decor showed pride of ownership and were truly PGH inspired. Beds and bedrooms were comfortable, bathrooms well-appointed, and kitchen had most everything we needed. Spaces were filled with natural light by day, and artificially well-lit by night, including entrances. Being the first guests to lock ourselves out, we were relieved Garret had anticipated this situation. The solution was simple and secure. Would definitely recommend to others and use again ourselves. It would be especially nice to visit once the gardens are tended to for the season - especially the fire pit area. Wish we’d had time for cornhole, but our daughter instead took the manual/reel lawnmower for a spin one morning. She’d never seen one before and thought it was great!😅

We were in town for the Inaugural Pittsburgh Belly Dance workshops and Fair and the location was perfect. Jack allowed us to drop our things off early which was very convenient! We had ample parking and it was perfect for the three of us aged mid 50’s to mid 70’s. He had motion lights outside the house that put me at ease when we’d arrive late at night after the shows and dinner. Jack was very sweet and responsive!

Our group of six had a wonderful stay in this Pittsburgh Airbnb! It offered ample space and every comfort. The hosts thought of everything: bottled water, coffee, snacks, and a fully stocked kitchen. We appreciated the plenty of clean towels. The apartment was stylishly decorated with comfortable beds, ensuring restful sleep. The stunning city view was a highlight. Communication was prompt, and check-in/out was smooth. The guest book with local info and transport tips was brilliant; public transport to our concert was a breeze. The neighborhood was fantastic, with restaurants within walking distance. Parking for our four cars was easy and convenient right in front. This clean, well-appointed, and perfectly located Airbnb exceeded our expectations!

This place is a hidden gem. It was exactly what I needed. This place is better in person! Can't wait for the next visit!

Kelly hosted my brother for two months while he was apartment hunting. She was gracious and accommodating. The space is absolutely charming! It’s the top floor of a grand old Victorian house in a safe and very walkable, convenient neighborhood. The room is spacious; the bed is huge and comfortable. The cozy armchair is perfect for reading or watching TV. There is a dining area, kitchenette (no sink) with coffee maker, kettle, toaster oven and hot plate. The bathroom is clean and bright. There’s a large, furnished front porch for relaxing and enjoying the local families walking their dogs! If you’re looking for a homey and unique space, Kelly’s place is for you!

we were in town for a wedding in Fox Chapel. It was a great location. Kelly's place has everything you need for a visit. The kitchen was very well equipped She definitely went above and beyond with what she supplied . The place was very clean and quiet. With it being above a bar and next to the Moose Lodge, we could not believe how quiet it was. They close at 10. I would highly recommend to stay here and would stay here again. Wow!!! That’s all I can say about Juraj and his Airbnb. This place is absolutely beautiful and the pictures don’t do it justice! The views are honestly breathtaking from both decks. You will be blown away when the sun goes down at night!! My husband and I were in town with friends for two PJ concerts, and the commute to the PPG Paints Arena was only a few minutes long. Easy to get an Uber there and back, even after the show. Super close to bars and some really cool things to do nearby, late night also. Juraj was an awesome host, checking in on us to make sure there was nothing we needed. The place was stocked with everything though, so we were good! 100% looking forward to our next stay here when we’re in Pittsburgh again!

Such a perfect place to stay. The generously equipped kitchen made it possible for me to spontaneously bake a birthday cake for the friend I was visiting. The beds were super comfy and the apartment itself was very unique and beautiful with all the dark wood. Parking is super easy and it’s close to lots of things.

James was the absolute best host we have ever encountered on Airbnb! His hospitality went above and beyond. The place was in an ideal location, the backyard view was to die for, and walking to restaurants, bars, and PNC park was easy. We are already planning our next trip to Pittsburgh and we will absolutely be booking with James again!

We only got to stay the night but my sister and I both agree it would be a great place to come and stay with a group of friends for a weekend!

The house was super clean and fully stocked! Beautiful location with many things near by to visit such as wineries, parks and restaraunts. Snowed more than half the time we were there, Alex had a shovel and salt at the door for us to use which was a welcomed addition. Very comfortable seating with fireplace and plenty of blankets, definately a cozy cabin feel on a snowy day. We were happy with our stay and look forward to another stay in the future.!

The apartment was very cute and clean, everything looked brand new! It was very peaceful and my daughter really enjoyed fishing on the lake they have on their property. Timothy and his wife were easy to get a hold of and were very friendly!

We came from the other side of the state to celebrate two big family events for the weekend. We needed space to visit with family as well as to prep for an off property grad party - the kitchen had everything we needed & the space to visit with family while we were in the area. Being able to bring out two dogs with us was a huge perk and great last minute decision. The location is quiet, easy to find and the hosts were so kind! The beds were comfortable and had the weather been better it would have been a great place to enjoy the private outdoor space. We hope this location is available for us the next time we visit! Such a beautiful and peaceful place! We spotted deer and groundhogs in both the front and backyard! We had a wonderful time at Tammy’s home—she was very friendly and responsive throughout our stay. We’d love to come back!
