Away from the hustle and bustle from central Denpasar. Great opportunity to experience the life of the locals. The host is very responsive and helpful. Grab and Gojek will find it easily and it's not too bad to go the hot spots of the island. The place has a kitchen if you prefer or need to cook. It was a good cost benefit ratio.

Staying at Villa Kalih was an absolute delight. Tucked away in a peaceful and lush area, it offers the perfect escape from the busy city life. Despite its serene setting, the villa is just a short drive away from Canggu’s vibrant cafés, beach clubs, and trendy restaurants. We had a pleasant stay in this accommodation. Everything was perfect ! The accommodation is very cozy and clean. Big favorite for the location in the middle of the rice fields which offers moments of calm and serenity outside the traffic of Ubud There are also very good restaurants close to the accommodation with really low prices

Great Villa to relax and unwind. Waterfront setting was exactly as expected, in Villa massage and full time chef meant we didn’t need to leave. All requests were easily communicated via messaging.

The stay was perfect. The place is a paradise, surrounded by rice fields with lots of greenery. Ideal for those who don't want to go to Canggu or Uluwatu and prefer a more relaxed stay close to nature. You absolutely need a car or motorcycle for absolutely everything, luckily with Grab it's super easy. The owner also sells food and drinks that are very useful when you don't plan to go to the center of Ubud by car (1 hour). We loved being away from the center, surrounded by nature. The house is just like the photos and even better, and communication with the owners to order food, activities and breakfast is super easy. Regarding the noise from animals that other guests mention, it's solved simply with earplugs. The only change I would ask for is to improve the pressure of the showers. It didn't come out very hot either. I would definitely recommend this listing

We had such a great time with our family! You immediately feel at home due to the cozy decor. The view over the rice fields is just beautiful! The bedrooms are fine. We were not bothered by traffic. We had massages done a few times, Awan took care of that. It all went well. Every day, Awan made a great breakfast of your choice. We all liked it. Awan speaks enough English for the necessary communication. The supermarket across the street is very convenient, so is the simple restaurant at 20 meters. We also regularly ordered food through Grab. It was a first introduction to Asia for a few of us. Due to the villa, that first impression is great!!! Great place a little far from everything but still walkable overall loved my stay

Shela, Julia and their team have continued to provide us with the highest level of car and assistance during our travels - helping us with transportation recommendations, when we were in need during our visa run and providing us with the most comfortable landing pad after arriving back in Bali at 2am in the morning. I could not recommend this accommodation more highly!

Very nice accommodation in a quiet environment and close to everything on foot. The cute bathroom outside and private pool are real extras . Two small downsides no hot water in the shower and door of the house, despite being locked, you could still open it just by pushing on it. Despite this we had a great stay and the people who hosted us were lovely!

Villa is completely what as you see in picture, we love it.. Restaurant you need and potato head is near by walking distance. Jodie has quick response while you asking anything. Ricco is driver who you pick-up or drop off you to airport, he is amazing man, thank you for him. This is the place that you can stay continously..

We absolutely loved our stay at Kupu Kupu. This is a perfect villa for a stay at Bingin. Away from the main drag but just a quick bike (or car) ride to find your way to the busier parts of Bingin. Cashew Tree, Seed and Salty Coffee all within walking distance and gym and Reform Pilates are just around the corner. Bingin Beach is an easy 10 minutes walk. The villa itself was superb! Elegant beach vibe interior and the outdoor area is so lush with a sparkling pool that no one wanted to get out of! Hendrik was only a step away for any assistance that we needed and was lovely to deal with. We will definitely be booking Villa Kupu Kupu again for our next trip to Bingin. Our favourite accommodation of our holiday!!

Absolutely fantastic place. Worth every penny. We love the pool and how spacious this place is. Definitely enjoyed the experience. And special thanks to Amenda who graciously stayed up late to accommodate our late arrival and late check-out.

If your looking for a villa with a truly amazing host family this is it. They are always kind and Wayan will respond to any issues that may arise. The place looks like paradise, and I will definitely come back. Don't forget about Manis, if your looking for sweet company, Manis the cat is waiting for you.

This is a very cool space - the whole house (except bedrooms) is an open air concept that makes for a lovely and relaxing vibe. Beautiful garden overlooking river. They have lots of fans to keep you cool, and the bedrooms have air conditioning. We were only there one night, but had dinner, breakfast, and lunch in house and it was super good! Also very highly recommend the massage - outdoors by the river is fabulous, and the ladies who did the massages were fantastic (I had Ayu - so great!). As one of the other reviews mentioned, it’s not quite as isolated/private as some other places (the owners live next door, and the neighbors are building a property on opposite side) - but we did not feel crowded at all and we would definitely recommend this place as well as hope to return sometime soon! The staff was great and we really appreciated their cooking and help arranging transport. Mahalo!

The location of this gorgeous home is what is a standout about this stay. It’s the only accommodation that is right on the beach and makes for a great location to sit back and watch the beach goers and the surfers. It’s simple and traditional if thats what you are looking for. The sound of the waves on the beach at night are really loud at night so something guests need to be aware of but a part from this it’s a really unique experience.
