Woubrugge Logies - Private Chalet in The Green Heart

This cosy, private chalet is perfectly located in The Green Heart of The Netherlands. By car only half an hour or less from Leiden, Amsterdam, Haarlem, The Hague, Delft, Gouda or the beaches. Woubrugge itself is a lovely small town along a characteristic canal that ends up in lake Braassemermeer. Sail, surf, swim, rent a motorboat, explore the beautiful surroundings by biking or hiking or relax in the garden. The chalet is a studio (40m2); comfortable for 2 persons. As the sofa bed can be transformed to a double bed the chalet is also suitable for young families or a group of friends. The chalet has one room (studio: 40m2) with a private bathroom. There is a double bed (size 210 x 160 cm) and a sofabed (size 200 x 140 cm). In the studio you will find a tv, a table with 4 chairs and a completely equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, toaster and a coffee-machine (coffee, tea and Dutch cookies (stroopwafels) are included in the price). A microwave for the guests is in the barn, next to the chalet. In this barn guests may park also their (rental) bikes or a pram. There is enough space for 4 persons, but do realize that you share the same room. The chalet is facing South, so you can enjoy the sun all day. And if you prefer to sit in the shade, you can sit under the large parasol. You will also find a cosy veranda to relax on and a lawn with fruit trees. Guests may use the chairs in front of the house on the riverside quay where you can sit, relax, have a drink and enjoy the spectacle of boats passing by. The chalet offers complete privacy. However, if you have any question or special wishes, we are most of the time in the neighbourhood or we can be reached by telephone. We love to help our guests and have a chat with them, if they like. Woubrugge is a small town half an hour or less from Leiden, Amsterdam, The Hague, and beaches. Follow the canal to The Braassemermeer, a lake which offers sailing, canoeing, and swimming. Bike, hike, and rent a motorboat to explore further afield. If you come by car: there are enough public parkingplaces near to the chalet. (for free). Public transport: Woubrugge can easily be reached by bus from Leiden Central Station. But also from Amsterdam / Schiphol Airport there is a good connection by train/speedbus. Woubrugge is part of several beautiful hiking and biking routes, so for hikers and bikers Woubrugge is a perfect place for a stay over night or for a longer period. - Smoking is not allowed in the chalet! There are games and on request we can prepare boxes with various toys for children aged 2-12. On the riverside quay you find a fine bakery. Apart from buying fresh bread and rolls there, you can have a coffee and pastries on the terrace overlooking the canal. If you don't feel like cooking yourself, you can have a delicious lunch or dinner at restaurant Disgenoten. Also this restaurant has a beautiful terrace on the waterside.

Lucy - Luxury cottage with hot tub by the sea!

You enter the wooden cottage through the “golden hallway.” Turn right to find the two bedrooms, and turn left to enter the living room. The open kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need: a dishwasher, stove, fridge with freezer compartment, oven with microwave function, serving boards, a Nespresso machine / filter coffee maker, and a milk frother. Kitchen towels are provided. Relax on one of the comfortable sofas with a good book, or watch a series or movie. Set the mood just the way you like it with (LED) candles, reading lamps, or ambient lighting - plenty of options. Or enjoy a game or puzzle at the round dining table. The beds are made upon arrival. There is one bedroom with a double bed and one with a bunk bed (90x200). A baby cot can be placed in this room, which is fully equipped with child safety socket covers. With blackout curtains, Emma Sleep mattresses, and Cloudpillo pillows, you’ll enjoy a great night’s sleep. The modern bathroom features a walk-in shower, sink, and a mirror with heating and lighting. A washing machine is also available. Towels are provided. Through the two French doors, you enter the garden. In the garden, you’ll find a wood-fired hot tub with atmospheric string lights. In summer, the hot tub can of course also be used as a refreshing plunge pool. Under the veranda, there is a dining table with four chairs and a gas BBQ. On the side of the house, there’s a comfortable lounge set where you can relax and enjoy the sound of birds. Finally, in the shed you’ll find scooters for the children and a wagon for the beach. Or enjoy a game of Kubb. The shed also offers convenient extra storage space for groceries. Parking is available directly at the cottage.

YouTube: Helios Old Village The completely renovated (2019) lovely white wooden detached summer cottage "Helios", with a new fresh and modern decor, has a south-facing terrace, a large garden around it (525 m2) and is located on a unique dike (schurveling) that is inaccessible to others, for your optimal privacy between the greenery and your peace and quiet. Outside, there is a lounge set with cushions, lazy chairs with cushions and footstools, a hammock, a picnic table and a luxury BBQ.

Take a break and unwind in this peaceful oasis. At the edge of the hamlet of Havenhoofd, you will find our "guesthouse the wooden lodge". Close to the beach and the dunes of the nature reserve De Kwade Hoek and Ouddorp with plenty of hiking and biking opportunities. Private entrance, ground floor and located by the forest. 2 km away from the authentic old town of Goedereede with its cozy inner harbor and terraces. Ouddorp is known for its beach clubs. Made beds and towels are provided.

In the Garden

Looking for a nice place to stay with a lot of privacy? Just outside Utrecht, you will find Bed and Breakfast Au Jardin, where you can enjoy and relax. The guesthouse is at the back of our deep garden. You have your own entrance at the rear of the building. You can also park there. At the front, you can relax on the terrace. The Bed and Breakfast is located in De Meern, in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Close to Utrecht and centrally located between Rotterdam, Amsterdam and The Hague.

Tiny House on a Private Island | Near Amsterdam

Spend the night in this tiny house on a quiet island in the Vinkeveense Plassen. A special place where you spend the night in the middle of nature, while Amsterdam and Utrecht are easy to reach. Ideal if you really want to relax for a while or if you want to explore the city during the day and then relax again. The island is only accessible by boat. For €30 per day, you can rent a motorboat with which you can easily sail to and from the island and explore the Vinkeveense Plassen.

Welcome to "de Hoogt" in Oud Alblas, a monumental farm in the Alblasserwaard. You can spend the night at 'de Hoogt' in our B&B. On our property is 'Huisje op de terp' which we have transformed into a beautiful cottage, where we ourselves lived with great pleasure during the renovation of the farm for more than two years. "Huisje op de terp" is a 4-person cottage with shower, toilet, kitchen and 2 bedrooms. Breakfast can be booked as an additional option.
