Cozy and very spacious vacation home with a lovely garden. Located in the quiet, old village center, but completely free. You can hear the birds here, enjoy the flowers. Centrally located, but wonderfully quiet. Parking is available on private property. We are happy to help and advise you. Ideal for a nice relaxing vacation, but there is also so much to do now for the sports enthusiasts. And you still have to work, at the spacious kitchen table with good wifi you sit wonderfully.

De vakantiewoning is gevestigd, in een oude stal. De boerderij is gelegen in het buitengebied van Rotterdam in een oud buurtschap genaamd 'De Kandelaar'. Hier wonen slechts 30 mensen en het is de perfecte spot midden in de natuur tussen de (grote) steden Rotterdam, Schiedam en Delft. De perfecte plek om de stad en natuur te combineren! Onze boerderij ligt op slechts 5km vanaf Schiedam, 8km vanaf Delft en 12km vanaf Rotterdam en 30 minuten (met de auto) vanaf het strand.

Welcome to our home. This beautiful farm in the typical Dutch countryside was built in the beginning of the last century. We bought & created this lovely place and split it into two houses and the barn next to it as a tiny conference place. The backhouse is what we offer for rent: this used to be the stables in the old days and is now a big, open space with an upstairs. The house is surrounded by a 800m2 garden, included the space under the haystack.

This beautiful cottage used to be a 100-year-old wagon barn, of which old beams have remained in sight as much as possible. The cottage is in the yard of our 400-year-old monumental stool farmhouse, where we live with our sheep, chickens and dog. The cottage features a private outdoor seating area. Opposite the farm are the floodplains of the river Lek with the many nice little beaches. And a stone's throw away is the cozy silver town of Schoonhoven.

The accommodation is very picturesquely located on a farm in the middle of nature. The cottage is newly built and very tastefully decorated. We arrived by car and metro easily and quite quickly to the center of Amsterdam. Hetty answered every question immediately and we were able to rent bicycles from her very cheaply.

We felt very comfortable with Inge and Erik. It is a very nice cottage which was very lovingly furnished. In addition, the two are very likeable and very great hosts. The location is also to be highlighted, it is very nice in nature and is beautifully quiet. We will be happy to come back 😊

I stayed for 2 nights with my daughter. The place was close enough to Amsterdam but still in the countryside, which we enjoyed. It was peaceful place in a great location. We drove in the morning to the Metro station (There was plenty of free parking), and in 1/2 hour we were downtown Amsterdam. Happy with my choice. The place was spacious for 2, well equipped, warm, and welcoming.

We had a great time in the Netherlands. We had chosen this place for its location (1 hour from Amsterdam, 1 hour from tulip fields like Keukenhof) and its flexibility of arrival and departure thanks to self check-in. The farmhouse is in a peaceful and beautiful place, we enjoyed walking around the area. It is also possible to see the many animals of the farm (cows, horses and an adorable dog). A small local gift was waiting for us in the accommodation, a big thank you for this little attention! We will definitely come back to this place to discover the rest of the country!
