Bungalow vacation rentals in South East Asia

Man hat sich direkt willkommen und aufgehoben gefühlt. Die ganze Familie war sehr nett und aufmerksam. Haben auch ganz tolle Tipps bezüglich Restaurants, Massage usw bekommen. War auch super interessant ein bisschen mehr über die Kultur zu erfahren. War auf jeden Fall ein Abenteuer im Dschungel zu leben. Danke für die schöne Zeit! ;)

Loved spending NYE here. They just finished the barbecue area in time for NYE and we got to have a lovely party with wonderful food and very pleasant company. Chea and his family are great, the vibe is awesome, the place is right on the village beach, very near the jetty where the ferry arrives. And it's an easy walk to the quieter and bigger beach, or up to the sunset viewing spot. Only minuses: the trash buildup around the island, and the mosquitos, especially in the bathroom (I got crazy bitten) meaning you have to douse yourself in repellant a few times a day if you're susceptible. Still, the value and the welcome and the peace and quiet were wonderful, and at this moment anyway, you are still able to find a secluded spot on the big beach away from other people where you can enjoy the incredible warm, calm water, while also having a good few dinner and bar options for later if you want to socialise. Ideal.

What a lovely peaceful spot listening to the waves and relaxing. The cabin is small and basic and yes, the electricity, hot water and Wifi can fail at times but the guardians of the land are always quick to respond and put things right. Thanks Kadek, Iluh and all who looked after me so well during my stay. I arrived just before Nyepi when all the Atm's were closed so I had no cash to get some food for the day of silence. I was brought fruit and lent money so I didn't go hungry and am really grateful for such caring generosity. Thomas's detailed instructions were great too for nearby places to eat and local suggestions. Highly recommended 😊

Der Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft hat uns wirklich sehr gut gefallen. Es war ein gemütliches kleines Häuschen in unmittelbarer Strandnähe. Wir wurden nett empfangen und haben viele gute Empfehlungen für die Umgebung erhalten. Es gibt wirklich tolle Restaurants in der Nähe. Die Hütte ist gut abgekühlt durch eine Klimaanlage. Gerne würden wir die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen. Eine Sache die wir lediglich verbessern würden, sind größere Mülleimer in der Hütte.

Such a little gem by the beach! The cottage was super cute and just a short walk (maybe 30 meters) to a quiet, sandy beach that felt almost private—perfect for the kids to run around and enjoy. The place had everything we needed and felt really cozy. Michael was an awesome host—super helpful and always quick to respond. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back! Thanks 🙏 Michael

Als je even tot rust wilt komen is het echt een aanrader, lieve mensen ook, het is ook mogelijk op een scooter via hun te huren en de je mag gratis gebruik maken van de kajak zeker een aanrader, helaas is het niet echt een plek waar veel te doen is kwa los van de accommodatie, wel koken ze heerlijk voor je en zijn ze super vriendelijk, ook lieven honden

If you want to visit Hoi An but aren't interested in staying in the hectic old quarter or at a big boring resort I HIGHLY recommend this. Especially if you like the beach. It is right on the beach, there is only a sandy path and a small strip of vegetation between you and the water. You can hear the soothing sounds of the ocean all night. We enjoyed the 15 minute bicycle ride to the Old Quarter or you can catch a Grab for short drive for very little. The accommodation is superb! It is quite spacious with a very comfortable bed and excellent bathroom. Diem is an incredible host. Very welcoming and full of excellent tips and ideas for your stay. DO NOT SLEEP ON HER RECOMMENDATIONS We ticked off nearly everything she recommended and they were all excellent. 100% would recommend and stay again.

This was a great little set of cabins that worked great for our family. Our kids stayed in one cabin with 2 single beds and we stayed in the other which has a queen. The two cabins are separated by a beautiful pool. The location felt secluded but was very much walking distance from the beach, restaurants and shopping. Our kids loved playing with the two resident cats.

Tropical heaven. This place is really nice and surrounded by lovely palm trees and Forrest. Don’t let you fool by it’s location. You are in the middle of the best places to go. If you go 15 min by scooter one way you are in the local beach area of lipa noi and 12 min the other way you are in the more touristy area of Lamai. The silence is so great with the birds singing makes it so special. The pool area and the bar area is so beautiful with so many plants. Love it. Great and easy covered parking for the scooter. The bungalows are really big 1 living room and 1 bedroom and the view from the bathroom is breathtaking It’s hard to get out of the shower. That’s how nice it is. The big beds are also nice. Sitting in the front balcony watching the pool area and enjoy the breakfirst is absolutely stunning as well. The even most important is The owners are so great and wonderful people they really make you feel like home. Thank you manou and Turn🙏

This was my second long term stay at south mountain, and again, we loved the experience! The rooms are big and comfy, the staff always responsive and helpful, the property and views are breathtaking. It’s a really wonderful stay away from the traffic of town. We enjoyed the restaurant too! They have the best wine list I’ve seen on the island and their steaks are imported and of very high quality. Yum. I stayed a month twice, but even if you have just a few days, south mountain is one of a kind for Siquijor.

Superbe séjour de 3 nuits dans le bungalow situé dans le jardin de la maison d’Avy & Frédéric. Magnifique environnement tropical (quel jardin!) qui entoure une piscine où il est agréable de se ressourcer après une journée de visite. La maison est située au calme, à seulement 10 min du centre de Siem Reap en Tuk tuk. Le bungalow est super bien équipé, propreté impeccable. La communication avec Frédéric a été facile et il a été un hôte très prévenant, arrangeant. Dans la maison, tout le monde est au petit soin. Le plus dur a été de quitter cet endroit !🙃

This little piece of heaven on earth was truly an oasis. Before we even arrived, Nova organized a driver to pick us up who spoke English and told us about the history and interesting facts about Bali. We even stopped at a lovely local restaurant before arriving at the home that ended up being one of our favorite restaurants. Nova communicated well and had a thorough thoughtful handbook that answered all of our questions. Their family is beautiful and so helpful and welcoming offering great recommendations and tips. The home is located outside the hustle and noise of downtown Ubud, which was the peaceful relaxing experience we were looking for but close enough to venture with a motorbike. The beautiful sounds of nature, amazing view of the river and valley, and natural wildlife of visiting monkeys were so enjoyable. The ac was nice and cold and helped with a great nights sleep. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The home was beautifully decorated. We can’t wait to go back.

nous avons passé un bon séjour chez Jin. Merci à Ben et son équipe pour leur accueil, leur réactivité et leur bonne humeur . le lieu est très sympas, très tropical comme cela est bien indiqué, typique très local. cela change des resorts qu'on voit tout le temps ! sincèrement encore merci encore pour tout.

It was very hot when we arrived at Elyu but the hose already turned on all the aircon at the property just like in hotels. 👏🏼 Place is clean and no weird smell. Has towels. Water pressure in all bathrooms are good as well. They also have hot water unit. Netflix on TV is available too. Location is so close to everything. We just walked during the night to get around San Juan. Will surely go back! :)

I arrived a bit late at Ely's place but he did the extra mile to be sure that I arrived safely. The place was very nice, cute decoration and extra clean. The mosquito nets are a + and allowed me to enjoy the jungle without much disturbance. it was awesome to relax in the hamoc listening to the cicadillas singing in the morning a true gem
