Clean, quiet, clear communication with Jennifer our host. The house centrally located to many activities. We had a wonderful short getaway and went rafting on the new river gorge. It was a wonderful time. We highly recommend it.

Secluded cabin Near National park with hot tub

BrittanyRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We came down to whitewater raft and zipline with Adventures on the Gorge. The cabin was so close to Adventures on the Gorge. It is nice and secluded, and has everything you need for your getaway! The hottub was great after a long day of adventuring. The host gave great local recommendations and even stopped by our first night to see if we needed anything. Our two boys (10 and 12) enjoyed the woods around the cabin. The personal touches were amazing- fresh flowers on the table, fresh baked cookies, and souvenir glasses to take home! I have stayed many places, but this one is a favorite for sure!

Haid House at Benedict Haid Farm

RichardRating, 5 stars7 months ago
The cabin was absolutely beautiful and well kept. There were a lot of memorabilia related to the history of the cabin and farm. Hands down favorite part was the giant screened in porch with fireplace and hot tub. We even bought an air mattress to "camp out" one night on the porch. Best sleep I've had in years! Like every place in WV, it's a bit off the main roads, but that's the appeal. No traffic to contend with and quiet relaxation. Even with the drive, groceries and some restaurants are only about 20 min away. Would definitely go back.

Relax & Explore

KathyRating, 5 stars21 months ago
Kaymoor was the perfect place to explore New River Gorge NP. Instructions to find it and get in were a breeze. It was a beautiful home and lots of room for our family of 5 adults. So many things to do with just a short drive from the home. We enjoyed the Endless Wall Trail, Miners Trail, the Bridge Walk, and taking the old road down and across the river. We ate at Pies and Pints in Fayetteville and grilled hamburgers on the deck in back of the house. We were only in New River Gorge 2 days and nights but wish we could have stayed longer to explore the other parts of the National Park. I guess we'll just have to come back to Kaymoor. Thanks Stephen and Pam for sharing your home with us!

Surprise

DebRating, 5 stars49 months ago
This cabin was a perfect launch pad for our family weekend in WV--it's very close to everything. Country Road Cabins is a well-run and organized business. They have anticipated all of their guests needs. Communication is perfect--all expectations and amenities clearly spelled out; there is a binder in the cabin with restaurant and activity suggestions as well as hiking maps. In the past, we have stayed in places where the hot tub was not clean. Here, they clean after each guest and provide extra chlorine tablets. They are very responsive to any requests or issues you might have. Highly recommend this cabin!

New River Gorge 8 bedroom, hot tub, heated pool.

KevinRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Second time we have stayed and have enjoyed each. Large farm house, is starting to show its age but that adds to the character. Pool and hot tub worked perfectly, Only 6 miles from Fayetteville. Great place for a large group on a rafting adventure.

The River House. New River Gorge National Park

JesseRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Right on the New River. Also serves as an access point for others to launch rafts and boats. CSX train runs right outside at all hours, however, so be aware that you may lose some sleep. Bring bottled water for coffee and drinking.

Circle A Farm - “Barndominium”

JessicaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
The stay was overall very good and we would recommend this property. The location was beautiful and secluded. The caretaker was warm and welcoming. Instructions on how to access the property were prompt and detailed. The garage apartment smelled very good and was exceptionally clean. It is set up more like a studio. The entryway is where the first bed is located with laundry and bathroom. The second bed is located in the main studio area. The laundry was very helpful with detergent available. If you have pets, please kennel them as there are pet deterrents behind the couch that could be dangerous. Overall it is a 5/5 rating and we have shared the listing with family for when they stay in the area.

These cabins have everything you need for and adventure packed weekend in the New River Gorge area! They are true cabins but everything is clean and in good working order. I loved the picnic bench and fire pit area. They are close to all of the great hikes, activities, and restaurants and shops. Lory was such a gracious host and checked in to make sure I had everything I needed.

NRG National Park is your neighbor at the Zen Box

LindsayRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This rental is on a beautiful property surrounded by rhododendron forest and singing birds. As outdoor enthusiasts, we had direct access to fun mountain biking/hiking trails and were centrally located to most of what the NRG has to offer for rock climbing. Colleen was friendly, down to earth, and genuinely vested in us having a pleasant experience during our stay. Highly recommend this gem in the heart of the beautiful New River Gorge.

Pillow Rock

MichaelaRating, 5 stars34 months ago
The cabin was in a fantastic spot. Woods surround the cabin and make it feel very private even though there are other cabins neighbors. The circular driveway made it easy for our cars to get in and out. There's a meadow on the other side of the driveway with chairs and a fire pit. Everything was sparkling clean, including the hot tub! They had lots of towels and all of the dishes we needed (pots, pans, plates, bowls, utensils). The AC was great, we never ran out of hot water, and they had 2 refrigerators. We've stayed at a lot of cabins in this area of WV over the years and this is by far our favorite. We highly recommend it for large groups!

Spacious 4 BR 2 BA Home close to NRG

CarrieRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This is an old farm house with lots of character. We rented the house to be close to the race start for Cabin Fever 50k. The house was so much bigger than we expected which was nice. The location was also nice, not far from town and quiet.

Old Woodland Acres Old Stone Carriage House -4

JulieRating, 5 stars5 months ago
The Cottage was a perfect place for us to stay. My family rented Nancy's other two properties as well. We were able to walk between the houses to gather. Inside our Cottage there were several different spaces where we were able to sit and visit. Nancy was very gracious in helping us to keep 100 roses and filler, for a wedding, in cool storage. We enjoyed meeting around the fire pit at the top of the hill to relax, roast marshmallows, and make smores. We would definitely stay here again!
