The place offers good fishing opportunities right below the cabin. Beautiful mountain hikes nearby with great freshwater lakes where you can fish. Excellent conditions for running on a gravel road. The house is fully equipped and is located in the middle of Steinlandsfjorden at the foot of Langøya's highest mountain, Snykolla. In the fjord outside the house there are opportunities for good fishing from the jetty. The house is located close to the popular tourist destination Dronningruta and the fishing village Nyksund. It is also a good location as a base for exploring both Lofoten, Bø, Hadsel and Andøya.

My husband and I started our project in 2017 and finished it in the end of July 2024. I’ve been obsessed with the bay window where I can see the beauty of the view through all the seasons which give me such a different moment in every season to take on. My place is close to great views, the beach, art and culture, and restaurants and eating places. You'll love my place because of the central location in the Vesterålen region, Lofoten and Harstad, the kitchen, the outdoor area, the neighborhood, the light, the comfortable bed. My place is good for couples, lone travelers, and furry friends (pets). It is also a quiet and peaceful area, without the big traffic noise as this is not by the main road. Quiet neighborhood.
