Cozy cabin in the mountains

Experience the mountain world in the scenic landscape around our cottage. Here you can go mountain hiking, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, mushroom picking, picking deer crown and much more. All of this is in our neighborhood. The cabin is placed at the foot of Jofjället and lies in between the two large ski resorts Tärnaby and Hemavan. The cottage has three bedrooms, one of which is a loft room. The cottage has a sauna, a fireplace for cozy evenings, TV, internet, equipped kitchen and much more. We hope you enjoy your stay!

Kitchen and dining area as well as sofa bed and wood-burning stove, toilet with shower on the first floor, sleeping loft one staircase upstairs with 2 beds. Located next to Umnäsvägen with the forest and Umnäs lake around the corner. Wonderful nature for hiking or biking. Gardfjället is about 20 minutes away with scooters, great for skiing in the surroundings and up on the mountain. Nice fishing water nearby. Boat with motor to rent.

Northern Lights Guest House

We welcome you to the Nordlicht guest house in the middle of the wilderness of southern Lapland. It is a cozy warm traditional Swedish hut. A cozy wood-burning stove warms the cabin. Here you will find peace and quiet. In the cabin there is a kitchen, bathroom, dining room and bedroom. Right next to it is a kota (barbecue hut) that can be used. Fishing is possible on the nearby lake Skäggvattnet with plenty of large fish. The nearest ski resort Kittelfjäll is 50 km away.

In our typically Swedish guest hut, you will find 30m2 of space in two rooms. In the sleeping area you will find two very comfortable boxspring beds, which can be used as a double bed or as single beds. In our small kitchenette, which is very comfortably equipped and the practical small oven, you could easily prepare a delicious meal. The woodburning stove radiates the charm of hut romanticism and lets you relax in comforting warmth. There are several dogs in the area!

Slussfors is a beautiful small village located halfway between Storuman and Tärnaby, offering a peaceful and scenic stay. The village has a gas station, a small grocery store, bus stop, lighted ski trail, disc golf course, and gym – all within easy reach.
