What shall I say: 10 from 5 stars 🌟! It was beyond marvellous. From the first moment, the communication with Natalie was friendly, quick and totally personal. I felt immediately a click. And when we arrived at the cabin, the click was completed: it felt to 100% like a second home! We loved every second in and around the cabin. It was unusual clean, quite and surrounded by pure nature. For us, coming from busy German cities, this was the best travel destination in a long time. We will come back :-)

Wonderful Timber house with lake view

We had the most wonderful time in the cabin. It was super cosy, comfortable (amazing bed!) and quiet with gorgeous view on the frozen lake. Daria was the nicest and most welcoming host, giving use recommendations to enjoy the area. The fireplace gave our evenings a magical and very cosy touch, we loved it! We had no running water in the bathroom because the pipes were frozen but we could shower and do our dishes in the small cottage right next to the cabin so it was not an issue at all. I would love to come back and highly recommend for a quiet nature break.

Beautiful Cabin

The house is small, but lovingly decorated and wonderfully warm. We slept wonderfully on the beds. The bathroom is only 20 meters away and is big and comfortable with a really nice shower. Jakob was very friendly. We never had it as dark as here. No light pollution, so we could see countless stars and also some northern lights.

Matthias' fisherman's hut is perfect for switching off for a few days away from the hustle and bustle. I was there in the winter. The cottage offers a beautiful view over the frozen lake and has everything you need. In the main house there is a clean, warm shower with dryer and washing machine. Communication with Matthias is also great, no questions remain unanswered. I can recommend the cottage to everyone and will definitely come back.

Despite strong winds, there were two beautiful days and nights in Janneke's accommodation. You immediately feel comfortable in the lovingly and sensibly furnished tent and terrace with grill and hammock, a superbly located sauna overlooking the lake. Very helpful tips for the oven and sauna are available. It was very cozy in the tent. Quick response to questions. What a gem in Swedish Lapland. We are very grateful for the time and hope that more people will love and appreciate this place.

Cozy cottage that had a great location by the water. The hosts were so concerned that we would have a great stay and feel very welcome. Very nice prepared fireplace where you are happy to cook your food while enjoying the view and the tranquility. A big plus also for all the great tourist information that was in the cottage and all the tips from the hosts. Where you want to go back!

The 2 weeks in the house were very pleasant. Jaqueline and her mother were always easily accessible and helped directly if anything came up. You can even see aurora lights from the house at this time of year. The house is more for 4 adults and children, as a bedroom downstairs is only separated from the living room by a curtain and it can also get a little louder in the room through the TV and you don't really have privacy, which is not a problem if all take care of each other. All in all, the time in Mellanström was very nice and we would vacation there again at any time.
