We have renovated our farmhouse with knowledge of building maintenance, the environment and sustainability.The beautiful colors of egg oil tempera adorn the walls, and genuine linseed oil paint is a given in a house from the late 19th century.Nice tiled stoves warm up nicely and the kitchen is large and spacious In winter, there are nice conditions for cross-country skiing and downhill skiing at Romme alpine. An approximately 8 km long skating rink is plowed on our lake with a connection approximately 100 meters from the farm.The house is located close to the towns of Falun and Borlänge.

Welcome to our cozy cottage right by the water with sauna, fireplace and private jetty. Here you can enjoy a peaceful atmosphere, magical lake views and fishing right outside the door. In winter, it is possible to swim in the ice water from the jetty, if the weather allows, ski trails are run up on the lake. The surroundings consist of berry and mushroom forests with beautiful walking paths. In the summer, you can take a ride with the rowing boat or enjoy the evening sun on the terrace. The cottage is located only 15 minutes from Falun and 45 minutes from Romme Alpin.

It is a perfect starting point for excursions in Dalarna, and in winter, Romme Alpin is 13 minutes away. If you like cross-country skiing, Gyllbergen offers low-mountain-like nature. Locally, you can take a walk/run in Smäcken or Frostbrunnsdalen, explore the spring streams, take a ride on the river, or a dip, or visit the ostriches a bike ride away. Villa with lower floor apartment with its own entrance. The host couple lives in the house. 200 meters to Lake Runn which offers plowed ice skating rinks in winter. In summer, there is a bar and ice cream stand by the lake, as well as kayak rentals. Two simple bicycles can be borrowed from us. (We also have two kayaks that can be rented if you let us know in advance) Proximity to Romme Alpin and Bjursås ski center, about 30 minutes by car. 5 minutes to the city and Lugnet's sports facility.

Forget everyday worries in this spacious and peaceful villa with hot tub with lake view on one side and beautiful forest on the other.
