Patric and Zeidy were very responsive in returning e-mails and keeping us informed with all dates and times for our trip. We had the great pleasure of meeting the owners of this beautiful place/Charlie and Paula. How special it was to be picked up from the airport by Charlie. He welcomed us with open arms, took us to a grocery store to get supplies for our first day and oh my god made us a fantastic breakfast. It was truly a great experience meeting so many nice people and not to forget Rob who would always help you out at any time of the day. We had 27 days of heaven in a very special place. We truly enjoyed our time here exploring the local area. The kitchen was well equipped-and with the pool being steps from your patio door- there was no need to leave the gated community some days! We found we did not need a golf cart for our week long stay- the beach was only about a ten minute walk along the main streets with lots of shops and restaurants. Highly recommend the catamaran tour with marlin’s tours (I think is the name)- we had a great day on the water!! Overall we loved our stay at Mary’s place the weather was great and the accommodation were very relaxing with the pools in the gated community being quiet and not over crowded We really appreciate the hosts accommodating an early check in- we were super grateful for this after a long overnight flight!

Preston’s Airbnb was amazing. The pictures in the listing don’t do it justice, our group of 6 made it a point to make sure we were in the pool with a cocktail at sunset every night. Preston was very responsive, we decided to check in a day early because there was availability and he responded immediately so that we could enjoy the house for an extra day. It is located in a gated community with a 24/7 security guard. The surrounding restaurants and beaches are great (we loved Roberto’s for breakfast). Playa Panama is about a 10 minute drive, Playa Hermosa a 15 minute drive and Coco Beach about a 25/30 minute drive.

Great place for a family stay. Huge living room and kitchen with a really nice patio next to the pool. The place was super clean and very comfortable. The body surfing boards and beach towels were a nice bonus. The washer/dryer came in handy as well. Sunsets were amazing on the beach. Local restaurants on the beach were pretty good. Ginger (a tapas place) across the street was the best food we had in CR and had some unique dishes. Chillin' on the beach near the villa was awesome and made the stay really enjoyable.

AMAZING. Such a beautiful and peaceful place, the view is WAY better in real, the room are big and clean with hot water, really a piece of paradise!!! The only thing to know, there is a breakfast for a great price available. Otherwise you need to think to buy some food to eat. It is not far away from the little town where you have a few restaurants (maybe 1-2?), a little convenient store and a place to get meat but it is a bumpy road to come back to get it, so think ahead and buy it before you get there!

We had a wonderful visit at the dome! It was private, clean, in a beautiful mountain setting. The hosts gave us excellent recommendations and clear instructions for the dome.

Very beautiful place and property! The views are stunning everywhere you look. If you are looking for a peaceful, remote stay, this is it! Given its remoteness and surrounding road conditions, highly recommend a 4x4 and comfortable vehicle, along with groceries for a couple days. Diego + Christina were very responsive and provided great suggestions of things to do and see around the area and property. Don’t snooze on horseback riding with Hilario right on the property - it’s amazing and the views are very beautiful!

Lovely 2B close to the beach, bars and restaurants

We stayed here for three nights with our young family (2 adults and 2 kids, ages 2 and 5). It was the perfect place for us. The pool has a great kiddie side and there was plenty to do in the area. We toured different beaches in the morning and swam in the pool in the afternoon before catching dinner in coco. Our favorite beach was Ocotal which was only a 20 min drive. Coco beach is very nice and only a 5 min walk away.

We stayed at Paul’s Villa for 10 nights and had an amazing experience. The photos don’t do the balcony view justice — the sunsets each night were absolutely breathtaking. The shuttle service and drivers were friendly and really elevated our trip. Paul was very responsive, helped arrange a reliable airport driver who we used throughout the stay, and quickly resolved a small issue with the safe. While the pools looked bigger in photos, they were still enjoyable and a nice alternative to the beach. The beachfront restaurants were all great and easily accessible with the shuttle. Our only complaint — which isn’t Paul’s fault — was that red ants occasionally came in through the sink drains and front door. It wasn’t a huge issue, just something to note. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Paul’s Villa, were sad to leave, and are already looking forward to returning next year!

Great stay at Pilar's villa. The pool and BBQ are fantastic and all rooms of the house are air conditioned including the kitchen and living room upstairs. The 4th bedroom is in a separate annex from the main house. Beautiful Carillo Beach is only a 12-minute walk away.
