Guesthouse vacation rentals in Sonora

Marie’s apartment and island of paradise was a nice retreat after a long day in the boatyard. And she’s a great host. Feels more like a friend!! Highly recommend. Though, I will say, if you have mobility issues, this is not the place for you. The second floor is more of a loft with a ladder like stair system and there’s a low bridge getting into the shower/bathroom. Otherwise, wide open. And it is a very secure place in a truly Mexican part of town.

This was a wonderful trip! So exciting to be in the "real" Mexico. We seemed to be the only gringos in town except for a handful of people who have houses there. The casita was right on the beach with a spectacular view of the Sea of Cortez. Sunsets were amazing, but it was all beautiful 24/7. Hammock was perfect. Food was fantastic. Don't miss the fresh shrimp cooked in chipotle cream at the Brisa del Mar, two houses down. You can even get there by walking on the beach! The beach is miles long and the quantity and variety of shells that washed up each day were amazing. The casita was homey with everything we needed. Plenty of big towels and my favorite kind of beach chair recliners too. Kris and Don were awesome hosts. So friendly, helpful and immediately responsive. Great to be able to walk out onto the beach at all hours to swim in the warm water and watch the pelicans dive. I don't know when I've been so relaxed on a vacation. Thank you Kris and Don!!!

Exactly as pictured . Nice, quiet and peaceful. Short drive to the beach. Not to far from center of town. Cynthia was great!

Very helpful host. Would stay here again! Private parking was great. Lots of activities and the beach was walking distance. Highly recommend

La estancia estuvo muy bien, nos sentimos comodos y sin problemas. la estancia es un segundo piso con escaleras estrechas y escalones altos pero funcionales, la television no funcionaba porque tenia un golpe en la pantalla el cual se le informo al anfitrion. Coincide con las fotos y el anfitrion siempre estuvo al pendiente.

Fue un gran alojamiento, me volvería a hospedar con Karla.

100% recomendable es seguro, amplio y accesible a lugares cercanos de comida ya hecha y tiendas, el anfitrión es muy servicial, sin duda volvería a hospedarme ahí.

El alojamiento de Rogelio es bastante acogedor. Ubicado dentro de una colonia privada en la zona más cotizada de San Carlos, Sharky’s place es el lugar correcto para hospedarse y relajarse. La playa está solo a 5 minutos de la casa, la colonia es muy bonita, los vecinos son amables.

Debra and Tane (and their pups!) were wonderful, welcoming hosts. From a quiet, tranquil, gated private yard (parking included!), plus a stunning design studio with personalized shopping, restaurant and beach recommendations; there is no better place to lay your head in advance of exploring all that Puerto Peñasco has to offer, even if it is just relaxing at the beautiful Sea of Cortez. I can’t wait to be back. 😊

host muy amable y atento. El lugar muy bien ubicado, fácil de encontrar. Todo limpio y bastante tranquilo.

We enjoyed staying here very much the dogs were such and amazing plus we were pleasantly surprised everything and anything you could think of was kindly offered to us such as beach towels,blankets, extra pillows, beach chairs,etc.
