Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Sonneberg

Loved our short stay with Alison. We were in Pritchenstadt for my brothers 50th. We had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Loved it!

We had a lovely, albeit very wet Pentecost weekend in Rachel's house. We were two families (6 people, 2 children (3 years old)). We particularly liked how child-friendly and well-equipped the house was. There are plenty of toys and the trampoline in the garden was a hit. The surroundings are beautifully idyllic. However, we were a little surprised by the high tick volume, but that's nobody's fault. However, you should prepare for a vacation in the area (vaccination, spray) and check daily, especially with the kids. The house was very cozy and could be heated wonderfully with the fireplace in the unfortunately very bad weather. The footpath to the house, which is slightly elevated, was a bit impractical. If you arrive with a little more luggage and shopping, you have to walk the way several times, but it worked. Overall, we were satisfied and felt very comfortable.

Had a great stay at the house. We especially liked the beautiful terrace, the large kitchen (fully equipped) and the large living room with smart TV. The second bedroom has two "normal" sized single beds - but is designed more as a children's room. So not so suitable for two couples. In the living room, there is also a single bed. Lovely quiet location, 10 minutes from the market square in Wirsberg. Great communication with the hosts! Everything is perfect :) Next year again!

If you want to switch off from city life, it's just the thing. Cozy, clean and well-equipped cottage in the middle of nature. Morning coffee on the terrace to forest sounds is already the perfect start. Those who like to roam through the woods can start some hiking trails directly from there. And on cooler evenings, the fireplace is excellent. And the best part…my big furry friend was warmly welcome there and felt just as comfortable. I haven't been there for the last time :) Thanks!

We were satisfied with everything, recovered well and the fenced property for our dog was very nice. The only thing missing in the description was that the stairs were very inconvenient for dogs...but not bad, we slept downstairs. The cottage is very modern, for us already much too good😅 maybe you could get new cutlery and the chairs are too low for the table, or the table too high for the chairs. But this is not a criticism, it is just information or a recommendation. Best regards and thank you for the beautiful days in Thuringia.

The place was very clean and just right for all the people. Nearby are various restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. If you feel the wanderlust, this is also a good starting point. The huge couch and fireplace invite you to chat and the kitchen is superbly equipped. There are enough beds available even if the climb to the top takes some getting used to. But all in all very cozy and modern. We enjoyed the time together very much and can highly recommend Nicole's place.

The 1a vacation home is quietly located in Sophiental next to a stream. We booked the accommodation with Anika & Felix as a 6-person family + children and were thrilled from the start. The accommodation is well equipped and actually lacks nothing - The kitchen has incl. Spices and oils, everything for cooking, there is also a grill in the garden. Coals + lighters were also provided. For the long evenings in the huge garden, a fire bowl and wood are available to make bread and marshmallows if necessary. A highlight is the lighting at night - it is incredibly cozy to spend long summer nights here in a deck chair. I highly recommend the place - especially you notice that Anika & Felix do everything they can to make sure you have a wonderful time.

An absolute oasis of well-being <3 My girlfriends and I were here for a girls' weekend. We wanted to rest, relax and just be for ourselves - it was really just perfect. The house is like a warm hug that invites you to let go and we immediately felt at home. There is enough space for 6 people, the conservatory is a dream and the terrace and garden offer enough space to relax. The sauna is of course a wonderful bonus, overlooking nature. And the fireplace ensures a very pleasant feel-good atmosphere. The location is wonderful if you are looking for tranquility and nature and want to escape everyday life. Everything you need is there and communication with Christian worked smoothly. A definite recommendation <3

One of the best accommodations we have ever stayed in, located in the city of Erfurt but in a very calm and relaxing place, we were in the area for work and it was perfect to relax at the end of the day, it has everything you need in the house, Anke, Frank and Kheda are very friendly and good hosts, I really recommend it, thank you

We had booked the place for a JGA with 13 people and were totally thrilled. The pictures don't even come across in the beginning, we are huge the house and also the garden. We had more than enough space to eat, get together and sleep. Since we had a chef in the group with us, the industrial kitchen could be used optimally. Again, there was no lack of amenities and cleanliness. The area offers enough opportunities for nice day trips and also a Rewe can be reached by car in 2 minutes. It was an all-round successful weekend, absolutely recommended!

The hut is great for hikes and excursions to reservoirs and many activities. Very quiet and right by the forest to go hiking. .In the cabin there is everything you need. Super fenced for our dogs,which gives extra points;-).

We had a great stay at Toni's vacation home! The house is modern, tastefully furnished and well equipped – nothing is missing. The location is ideal, with beautiful views of fields and forests. During the day we took walks, and in the evening we enjoyed the wonderful scenery and sunset in the garden while barbecuing and eating. It couldn't be more perfect! We will be happy to come back :)

We were extremely satisfied with our small hiking group in Oliver's house over the 1st May weekend and with our choice. The furnishings leave nothing to be desired and there is enough space to enjoy some undisturbed tranquility. In addition to the roles of spending time in the house (sauna, pool, garden), you can also reach many great hiking routes right outside the front door or from the nearby train station. There are also shops in the nearby area, as well as the opportunity to stop. Overall, we can highly recommend the accommodation and will certainly knock on Oliver's door again if we come back to the area.

Had a wonderful stay with nice walks and bike rides. The bungalow has all the amenities you need and a lovely sauna to end the day in!

As a group of girls, we really enjoyed our stay at the goose house! We had a lot of space in the quaint walls and the beautiful outside area. The technical equipment of the kitchen was incredible - microwave, juicer, large toaster, etc. Unfortunately, the pool was not ready for the swimming season yet. Communication and check-in were easy and hassle-free. We were eating at the pizzeria across the street, totally fine. In addition, a hiking trail runs right behind the castle to Maroldsweisach, among other places. Here we can recommend the beer garden. All in all, we had a great time in a rather unusual AirBnB!

Despite the demolition work of a neighboring house, we loved the place. Several small touches made us happy. Coffee, tea provided. I prefer chairs with a backrest for eating but for a few days the high benches were fine. Thank you, it was great.

I was looking for a quiet apartment and found it. Not only the apartment, the small kitchen and the bathroom were very well maintained and beautifully furnished, but also the outdoor area, the garden and the access path are really beautifully designed. I rented the accommodation for a short hiking vacation with my dog. There was everything you need, the place was clean and very comfortably furnished. Check-in worked smoothly and the information in advance was also very useful. The location of the cottage is also really great — surrounded by forest, very quiet and with great views! I was satisfied and felt very comfortable.

I had been looking for a quiet, rural place to stay in Franconia and with animals to get away from it all for a few days and didn't get disappointed. Kim and Armin are very open and friendly and have tips/solutions ready for any questions.

The place was very clean and the location in the castle was something special. Everything was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could ever need. Otto is a very likeable host with many excursion ideas and anecdotes about the castle and the area. We will be back for sure.

Everything was as expected. Very idyllic and quiet. We had everything we needed to rest and cook delicious food. A highlight in the hot temperatures was the "earth refrigerator" for a cold beer;) Or the horses in the paddock with sunset in the background. You could also listen to frogs in the evening at a small pond nearby. Communication was totally uncomplicated and always went very quickly. Highly recommend!

Lovingly furnished apartment where really nothing is missing! Ideally suited for 4 people, we felt very comfortable!
