Stay atmospheric on the loft of a unique greenhouse

We had an exceptionally nice week at Petra and Patrik's farm. We can recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy nature, peace and simplicity away from the hordes of tourists. The greenhouse consists of two levels (sleeping area upstairs). Downstairs you can cook on an electric stove. There is a small fridge, a kettle, running water, simple seating and a hanging chair in the middle of the vegetables. In front of the greenhouse there is a table with a bench and armchairs as well as a hammock. Heating the stove by the lake and bathing in the bathtub is an absolute highlight. In the lake you can cool off briefly, but the water is rather muddy (we recommend Lake Vättern and Lake Sommen) We also had great fun with the animals (cats, pigs, horses) at the farm. We bought vegetables and eggs from the neighboring farms. Petra and Patrik are very hospitable and have helped us with all concerns. Thank you!!

A wonderful and typically small Swedish cabin with a great view! We took two Australians on a small road trip and spent one night in Robbin's cabin and had a wonderful time. We played mini golf and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. The cabin has everything you need for one or a few nights there, has a well-equipped kitchen and very new bathroom. Everything was clean and tidy upon arrival. The only thing to be aware of, is that with 4 or 5 people, it might simply be a bit cramped - but that's part of the cabin charm. Robbin is a great host who responded quickly and gave us a lot of good information about the cabin and activities in the area. If we're ever in the area, we will definitely come back!

We had such a lovely stay, the site is beautiful as pictured and very comfortable. Winnie was so kind and easy to communicate with. The kitchen was nice and well equipped (not to mention it has a beautiful view), and Winnie shared some freshly foraged chanterelles. We had a car which made it a very quick drive to town and the waterfront. Such a great experience, will definitely stay here again if we’re back in Gränna!

Dear Jana and Jonas, we had a wonderful (although too short) holiday in your wonderful, cozy, super welcoming house. Already the arrival worked perfectly, we were even allowed to arrive earlier, nothing was missing, everything really perfect, super clean and a warm "home" from the first moment. We relaxed in the sauna and cooled down in the river next to the house, enjoyed the evenings at the fireplace, the kids were super happy and climbed and ran everywhere in the garden, we had nice walks around the lake and the best of our visit: Jonas showed us some precious natural treasures in the wood nearby, we had a little fire in the wilderness with fika and cookies, these are unforgettable moments, thank you so much for sharing these with us. We will definitely come back, next time at least two weeks. Thank you so much again!

We spent almost two weeks in Alvasjö with a family of 8. The place is nothing less than magic. A lovely house, renovated just the way it should be, leaving the historic parts and gently adding modern needs. Sara and Ed were really helpful, always there when needed and very easy to contact. Excellent communication. The area is beautiful, went canoeing, rowing, fishing, mountainbiking, SUP, hiking, Sauna ob the lake, mushroom and blueberry picking. It was not „just another holiday“, it was more than what we all dreamed of when it comes to „holiday in Sweden“. Will certainly come back, a must go when you want to experience a comfortable and exciting holiday in the middle of wonderful swedish nature. Many many thanks for everything, Sara and Ed!

Great accommodation that is about 9 minutes from Astrid Lindgren's world. Very nice cottage! Renovated bathroom with shower. The kitchen works well for simple cooking. Nothing was missing with kitchen equipment, but would need better ventilation/ extraction/ fan in the kitchen. We slept well and the bedroom and it had dark roller shades. Plus for Astrid Lindgren DVDs to watch! Bunk bed is not fixedly mounted to the wall so you need to be careful when climbing up and down. Definitely more affordable than accommodation in the cabin village by the park.

We stayed at Caroline and her family's home for a week. Great welcome with fresh eggs and a drink. That was enjoyable. The house perfectly met expectations. During our period there was snow falling, her mother came to bring sleds for our children. They enjoyed this tremendously. The area is beautiful and Caroline's guidebook definitely helps with this.

Elma’s place is just magical. Very quiet with a fantastic view over the lake. It was great for travel to Finspang & Norrkoping. Would def finally stay again if it’s available next time we visit the area. My wife fell in love with the place. The house is very well equipped with everything you could want and great wifi. Highly recommended.

We were two families, 4 adults and 4 children, on a wonderful winter holiday at Stefan's house. We felt very welcome when we arrived at a heated house. The house is very spacious, clean and with a great view to a beautiful lake. Stefan had sent beforehand great instructions around the house, the route there, and the area. There are nice facilities both inside and outside the house, and we really enjoyed the sauna right by the lake. We also had a day skiing at Mullsjö Alpin. We will definitely be back!

We would like to thank Maria for a fantastic stay in the farmhouse. We have had a wonderful weekend and really appreciate everything she has done to make our stay so comfortable and memorable. The farm house was very well kept and had all the amenities we needed. We especially appreciated the beautiful view of the farm, the cozy decor, but also the well-equipped kitchen. It can be seen that Maria has put a lot of time and care into creating a pleasant environment. We would also like to thank Maria for her kindness and availability during our stay. It was easy to get in touch with Maria and she was always helpful and accommodating. We look forward to renting the Farm cottage again in the future and will definitely recommend it to our friends.
