“Karen's place is amazing. My wife and I stayed for a night for a short getaway to clear our minds from the lockdown a little bit, and this house had everything we could ask for. The check in was no problem, even if we arrived ahead of schedule, Karen made the arrangements so that we could be received in person to show us around. She also offered us advice on a nearby hiking spot, Kimberly Run, that we were unaware of, but was a very pleasant hike and picturesque forest, river, wetlands and field scenery on the same place. The house could be accessed from the front porch as well as from the basement, which is conveniently connected to the carport. The interior was properly furnished and cozily decorated. It was easy to notice how thoughtful Karen was by taking care of the details that would make her host's experience as positive as possible. The kitchen was well equipped, even with spices and cooking books. Coffee, tea, sweets and snacks were available to keep us awake, relaxed, happy and comfortable during our visit. For entertainment, there were poker card decks, as well as board games and cable tv that we didn't get the chance to try. The queen bed was comfortable and the bedroom was quiet at night, even despite the close intersection. Maybe it's because I'm very used to sleeping in a pitch black cave, but I would've preferred thicker blinds in the bedroom, but even that worked in our favor so we could get up early and go hiking. Overall, it was a great stay, and a lovely experience that we will treasure in our memories. Thank you Karen.”

“Rose and Angelitto’s place is so cool! Apartment is on the first floor of an office suite and is trendy & unique. The rooms are very comfortable, this was a great space for group of 4 friends. The shower is awesome, it’s like a sauna! Kitchen had all the dishes and glasses we needed which was a plus. This is close to a great little coffee shop, accessible parking, and near the ski resorts. Would return! Thanks ladies!”
Two queen bedrooms and two full baths plus a sleeper sofa. It has a riverside view and also boasts a fully equipped kitchen, a common room with large fieldstone fireplace, cathrdral ceilings and, a surrounding deck overlooking the river. Comfort
“Awesome location. Perfectly serene and bucolic. It was a perfect escape from the monotony. River is right behind the house and is absolutely beautiful. Train tracks in front was unexpected but for us enhanced the experience. Trains came periodically throughout the day and occasionally overnight. Sleep in back bedroom if you’re a light sleeper. Mitch’s deli was open and fed us dinner the entire time. We did bring a lot of pantry food since we were warned all restaurants hadn’t opened. Local grocery has supplies to help you supplement anything you didn’t bring. Small sleepy town. Friendly locals. Great bike train nearby for running or walking dogs. Plenty of spots for fishing. Our pups LOVED it! We loved it! For those seeking to work from the chalet be sure to have supplementary WiFi or ensure people log off when not in use. VOIP and streaming got shaky when multiple devices were on WiFi, otherwise it worked well. We hope to be back soon! Thank you, Robin & Dan!”
