The Studio Somers

Once a beach shack, became an artist’s studio, then rescued as a comfortable home and holiday escape, close to the beach and Somers General Cafe. A wonderful place to sit and relax, walk on the beach or explore local wineries and farm produce. In order to safely manage the conditions brought with COVID (and maintain our low tariff) we introduced a 3 night minimum. We are now able to offer a 2 night stay but this is at a higher rate than a stay for 3 nights or more. Please enquire for the rate.

A roaring open fire place for you to enjoy during winter and electric blankets on every bed except top bunks! A great place to stay for graduating HMAS families. The Shore Shack is best suited for couples or small families to sit back, relax & enjoy. Situated on a flat block, the large grassed backyard was created for children to explore with an enclosed trampoline, cubby house and boat. For the family, a large undercover area, family sized Weber BBQ, outdoor seating & fire pit. Located a stones throw from the RSL, a short walk to the main shopping precinct and close to the Cowes main beach.
