The room has lake view and a small terrace. The hotel is located in a quiet part of town, with direct access to a sandy beach and hikes on the volcano. The place is run by a Scandinavian family who likes to share their love for food and design with their guests. It is simply and stylishly decorated and has organic bedding. The town center is a 20 min. walk or a tuktuk ride away. Children are welcome to share bed with parents. An extra bed can be added for a fee of 100 Q/stay.

Come enjoy the beautiful Atitlan Lake in San Juan La Laguna. Casa Mama Lia is of the best location of the lake, while still having an authentic Guatemalan feel. Perfectly located, the hotel is a 2 minute walk from the dock and the village, center in a very quiet area of San Juan. The hotel is a dream come true for our family. We have been building it for 10 years and we opened a few weeks ago!
