Moonbah Escapez “Wombat” Luxury Tiny Eco Home

JayeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Monika's Moonbah Escapez Wombat Cottage. Directions were so clear, we had absolutely no trouble finding the place. I do recommend arriving in daylight hours as the entryway is difficult to see at night, but easy enough to find with maps! The location is stunning, the home overlooks a beautiful creek and only the peaceful sounds of nature can be heard. Monika was very responsive to messages and answered any questions we had. Self check in was very easy. A 10-15 minute drive to Jindabyne, where there are plenty of things to see and do. The house itself was so cosy and romantic, especially with the fire-pit and outdoor tub. We absolutely loved our time here and wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for having us Monika!

The Wooden House, Crackenback

NicoleRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We had an amazing week enjoying the magnificent views from this beautiful house. The house was very well appointed with every item you could need in the kitchen and two sumptuous bathtubs to soak in after hiking or biking the surrounding mountains. There’s so much room in the house which is great when you’re there with your in-laws! Having access to the resorts facilities also made this house worth the price - we enjoyed archery, swimming and sauna but there was so much more we could’ve done. Oh and the beds were super comfortable!! Would most definitely stay there again!!

The studio apartment was well appointed and very comfortable, comfy king bed with lovely white linen. Apartment was well laid out and had gorgeous views over the lake. Easy stroll to shops and restaurants. There was work going on at the complex but not on the weekend we stayed. Dean was a good host, providing prompt, friendly and helpful communication.

New Cosy Lake Front 2 bedrooms 2 Bathrooms

NatalieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This was a beautiful, cosy place that was ideal for our Jindabyne stay. We really appreciated the design details that gave the property a relaxed sophistication. The fireplace made the living room warm and inviting - that open plan living, dining and kitchen area are an ideal hub of the home. All the little extras (coffee bags, milk and biscuits) were a great touch and the beds super comfy. The separate bathroom for the kids was also much appreciated. And to top it off, the view of the lake was stunning and we enjoyed taking a stroll and enjoying the close connection to nature. We will absolutely be back!

The Heart of Jindabyne - 100 m to the Lake

KeithRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Wonderful place. Easy to find, nice walk to the lake and close to shopping centre. However it only has a small turning space at the bottom of the driveway (shared with other properties) so challenging access for someone who has a larger vehicle.

Alpine Sanctuary* Dream Escape* Fireplace

Sonja is a consummate professional and well-seasoned hotelier. We have stayed multiple times at Tinkersfield in both the Field Huts and the Post Office and booked this trip to stay in a Studio Field Hut. Sonja upgraded us to the Barn, which was not only incredibly generous but simply outstanding. The property is drop-dead gorgeous, and we wish that we could have stayed longer and enjoyed it. Like all of the properties at Tinkersfiled, no detail is left, from the fantastic kitchen and set-up to the bedding and toiletries on hand to allowing our well-behaved labradors enjoy our weekend with us! We simply can not recommend Tinkersfield enough. Tinkersfield is still one of the best Airbnbs we have ever stayed at and consistently gets five stars whenever we return. Thank you again for having us stay, Sonja—it was dreamy.
