A comfortable cottage near a national park

Spacious yet cozy 93 square meters cottage located at the edge of the Snæfellsnesjökull national park. The cottage is beautifully decorated and well equipped. Me and my wife fell in love with the un-earthly beauty of the Snæfellsnes peninsula and especially the area around the glacier and simply had to own our own getaway at this magical place which was voted the #1 place to visit in the wintertime (travelandleisure), and amongst Europe's 25 most interesting villages (Business Insider)

Hella is a place that is nice to stay at. The apartment is 120 sqm wich includes three bedrooms, in two of the rooms are beds (160x200cm) and you can see Hellissandur and the beautiful Atlantic ocean out the windows. One of the bedroom has a bunk bed. One bathroom, very spacious living room with panorama view of the glacier Snæfellsjökull and a large equipped kitchen. Things that you can do while you stay here is take a walk to Ingjaldshólskirkja and many other fun thing.

Our house is 80 years old and was originally built as the local store using building materials such as concrete mixed with lava from the glacier/volcano Snæfellsjökull. The house stands by the main-road and should, therefore, be easily accessible all year round. It is located 230 meters from the beautiful dock of Arnarstapi. A newly built porch stretches all around the house accessible from within the kitchen and the main entrance.

Enjoy a stylish and central home in Grundarfjordur. A bathroom with shower and toilet on the ground floor and a toilet sink upstairs. 3 bedrooms 5 beds. 100 meters from the sea and views of the Kirkjufell. The chalet is very new and very pleasant to stay in. Equipped with all the comforts to live there for several days, it is also very central for shopping. This is the perfect place to watch the Northern Lights.
