Family-friendly vacation rentals in Smith County

Tuscany Inn is really lovely and well-thought out. If something isn't provided your hosts will find a way to get it to you. Communication was wonderful even before we got there. The rooms/cabins (we rented the combo) were absolutely perfect for us and our daughter. Esther's food is REALLY good. The hot tubs were clean. There were plenty of towels. I would stay here again in a heartbeat if only to hang with the hosts. The only negatives as at were: (1) the walking "trail" on the property wasn't mowed and the grass was so high I abandoned trying. We never took our dog there because it was just too overgrown. (2) Be aware that the owners have two dogs who are incredibly sweet to people but not necessarily to other animals. When we took our dog out, we'd round theirs up and put them inside - not a hardship but something to be aware of as the dogs would come to the fence of our cabin and one would growl at our dog. Just something to think about if you're bringing your own pet.

Very nice place to stay and lots of room! Very responsive when we had a small issue and was fixed within a hour!

Great condo with everything you need! Incredibly clean and well appointed. For my family, the proximity to the lake was key in our selection... made it easy to spend every day on the water. Lara was very easy to work with and I would definitely return to this condo in the future!

Wonderful stay w family for Grandson's Graduation was Perfect, Beautiful view house was Great easy instructions easy checking out very private, Center Hill Lake is gorgeous lake two town East & West of you w pretty much anything You need Ashley I wonderful Host, she worked with Me when I messed up on the dates very Thankful for that

This place was perfect for a leadership retreat. It offered great accommodations in a peaceful setting. This was our second time to stay here and we were not disappointed. FYI…we drove 12 minutes to Chestnut Oaks Farm Table & Restaurant for a great meal one night.

Head and shoulders above the rest! Much better than the typical Airbnb with five star ratings. This is a true five star rural destination stay, not a stopover getting a courtesy five-star rating. No comparison with the typical highly rated Airbnb - this place is special. The cabins are well made with rustic feel - not old & worn with glossed over touches. Dan & Joann have done wonders with funky & country decor touches inside & out. And the farm is spectacular - mowed shorter grass walking paths, nearby stream, much wildlife. I had a fabulous time with picking & singing tunes each evening with Dan & friends! And I'm no pro, but the whole experience was comfortable, warm & inviting. I have new friends in Dan & Joann - maybe even new family! I'll be back!

We really enjoyed this place. We stayed at one of the smaller houses in the past. The extra room, King bed and a comfy sofa were great. Enjoyed breakfast on the screened porch. Great to get away from the city.

We stayed for 4 months during the winter and really enjoyed our time at the cottage. We were looking for a peaceful & quiet getaway in nature and that’s exactly what we got. It was so comfy and relaxing. We loved having our morning coffee in the sunroom over looking the lake. Kitchen is well equipped, wifi was super fast, lots of TV channels. There’s no cell service, but with the fast wifi you didn’t really need it. We were sad to leave! Would definitely come back, and absolutely recommend Melissa’s place for anyone who wants a peaceful escape.

Great spot for walking downtown to enjoy the Square and getting around Murfreesboro. The house is accommodating and welcoming. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and playing in the front yard. The large dining table was great and we all felt at home. Convenient, clean, comfortable, cool vibes! Great stay!

Very secluded, but I felt very safe being on the back side of their property. Dan and his wife both showed me out to the cabin which was situated right in the middle of the most beautiful area of wilderness! I was making a last minute stop, driving with my dog from Houston up to New York and I didn't want my dog to have to deal with a hotel room. This was the perfect solution. Quiet and comfy. It is very dark, so if you plan on arriving after sundown be sure to bring a flashlight! They do have some string lights but I had to use to my phone to navigate the bathroom. Great find!

The home is even better than the pictures . Loved the comfortable queen bed I slept in , the linens were so soft and comfortable. So convenient to the cute little downtown area and the walk there is delightful , looking at all the historic homes

Absolutely beautiful spot to get away. Very quite and serene. Lovely view and lovely deck! Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

We just left… but already can’t wait to return to this rental. If we could give more than five stars… we absolutely would. It had everything listed, everything we needed, and several things we wouldn’t have thought about. Our stay was easy, straightforward, and worry free. I cannot recommend the space or the renters highly enough. While it may ultimately mean that it’s not available when we need it because it’s so popular… everyone visiting Murfreesboro should consider this place first.

Great location, perfect for hosting a few friends for dinner and some rounds of corn-hole!

We had a great stay at the Lakehouse! The home was clean, organized and obtained all the essentials. Would love to visit again soon!

We love this little house. So quaint. Always clean and well stocked for all your needs. Randall is always helpful and full of information for the area. Great stay.

Sara was friendly and responsive throughout the process. She responded to all messages quickly, and answered any questions I had. The house was comfortable and clean, we had everything that we needed for our short trip.

Place was great, the lake is very beautiful, lots of parking, and Mitchell was a fantastic host. Mitchell was very responsive and friendly.

Byron's house is amazing. this our second year staying there and they are amazing hosts and will hopefully rent their place again in the future. Can't recommend high enough
