“Friendly and considerate housewife - personally came to check that I had everything I needed. Loved the privacy (separate unit on the second floor), the quiet (could not be heard in the residential housing area of any dog area), from the center within a 30 minute walk, the path goes through the park.”

It is wonderful house, territory and everything inside. Very cozy house with fireplace, TV and big windows. All rooms with great beds, you sleep like at home. House equipped with all necessary things, you have everything in the kitchen, dishes, glasses all necessary things for cooking and a big dishwashing machine. Sauna is super, hot bath as well. We spent great time there. My highest recommendations to all who want to spent time with friends and family, in a quiet place and be alone on the nature. We arrived at second time and will come back for sure, it's not so far from Riga, in Malpils there are plenty of stores and great bakery. Hosts are wonderful, very friendly, responsive. We travel a lot and rent different houses in Latvia, but this one is the best.

Such a beautiful place with a great host, showed us around on arrival, made us feel comfortable. The night was special with a jaccuzzi in the middle of the night, with rain drops banging against the roof, so relaxing. The morning of waking up I could not put in words if i tried, the scenery was amazing, the snow falling, i wish i could add pictures. The most beautiful and peaceful airbnb are back 10 stars if I could, would love to return.

The stay at River House was divine. We went there with our family of four and had two separate bedrooms, it was peaceful around and had a lovely creek by the house. The interior is cozy and reminds you of the movie "Holiday", where you can soak up the atmosphere by the fireplace or by lighting a fire by the creek. There is a possibility to pay extra for the sauna and hot tub, which we totally recommend. If you can, stay for 2 nights, the host recommends local treasures to visit whilst you're there. Also, they are very responsive and help with anything you need. When you go to River House, you're worries don't come with you. There you go to rest and spend time with your loved ones.

Nice peaceful place to hang out. Very quite area and peaceful surrounding environment. Although located in a small village, the property is a bit off the beaten path but at the same time a few minutes drive from Cesis. We didn't get to go into the sauna or the tub this time, but that maybe some other time.

This place was truly magical! I would give it more stars if possible 🌟 The location was very close to Cēsis and easy to find but also private. The interior was truly outstanding and the outside area is perfect for peaceful rest by the pond and a nice barbecue. The host even provides everything you would need for cooking inside, a nice outdoors bbq and even for the sauna. The inside of the sauna house was also outstanding - you feel like you are a part of the Baltic mythology and can enjoy magical sauna vibes with everything you would need available! 🙌🏻 The host was amazingly helpful and friendly - promtly answered all of our questions. Thank you, Inese! Overall I would recommend this location for any kind of bigger event or small gathering you might have, especially the sauna. I’m definitely going back! 🤍

Lovely place at a very heart of Cēsis. The view of the St. Johns church just outside the windows is beautiful and you can reach all the main sightseeing objects within few minutes. Apartment is well equipped, there was even a box full of toys for kids which made our toddler double happy.

We stayed for two nights and absolutely loved it! The house was spotless and had everything we could possibly need- and more! From charcoal and all the grill tools, logs for the hot tube and sauna, to a great coffee machine and thoughtful touches throughout. The terrace was super cozy, surrounded by lush greenery, with plenty of different types of swings and places to unwind. At night, the starry sky was magical. It’s ideal for 3-5 people with plenty of space and clearly lots of love and care from the owners, both inside and out. The host even left us some sweet, delicious surprises that made us feel truly welcomed. We enjoyed every moment of our stay, making the most of the house and garden.Time flew by, and honestly, we didn’t want to leave. We would love to come back again someday. Thank you for everything! Great location with private beach. You can use sups to swim around the lake. Very relaxing and quiet place. Host has a house close by, but during our stay nobody was there so we didn’t see a single person around. It was perfect getaway from city, people and technology. House has all you need, there is also a bbq grill outside.

It was a wonderful stay at Ilze. The châlet is situated in a corner surrounded by trees and flowers with the pond just a few steps away. The town center is a 10-minute drive away. Lovely walks are possible from the accommodation. Ilze was proactive and very friendly. Highly recommend!

House was clean, hosts were friendly. There were a lot of things to do. Everything was better than in the photos and as we expected. We had a great time there.

I made a short notice booking for Dzintars’s cabin. Something happened to the booking and a misunderstanding occurred. Dzintars and his family was very understanding and very quickly prepared everything for me as they were not aware of my arrival. I’m so grateful for their help, hospitality and understanding. They even gifted me a box of chocolate to make up for it, which was such a nice gesture even though it was a honest misunderstanding. The cabin itself is located very close to the city centre. I really enjoyed my time there and had a great rest after a couple of busy days in the beautiful city Cēsis. I can recommend this Airbnb and I wish Dzintars and his family a great summer.

Burning fire stove was welcoming us inside, while everything was just so clean, peaceful and silent, exactly as in pictures. Big windows allowed us to enjoy nature and singing birds straight from the bed. I would definitely come back again. Amazing place, thank you very much!

We had a wonderful stay here. We wish we could have stayed longer. It was very relaxing. Baiba is a great host. We enjoyed spending time on the lake, walking around and relaxing on the hammocks. We highly recommend staying here when in Latvia.

It truly feels magical. When I was searching for places, for me very important was that it would be close to nature and the space would be private with no view to other houses etc., and this place delivered both. Even though there are other houses in the area, it felt very private. The concept of the location is very unique, as there was a separate house for sleeping (the pyramid) and separate for chilling/sauna, our own bbq backyard, bridge over the river. It made us feel as if we had our own little village. And a really nice touch that the whole area was lit up with fairy lights, adding to the ambience a lot. The downside is the outdoor toilet but if you’re not too fussy about it, shouldn’t stand in a way of enjoying this place.
