Vacation rentals with lake access in Šmarje pri Jelšah

Great little place to stay. Works well for a small family. Beautiful location. Host was helpful.

We stayed with Mirjam and Aleš with our two young children (4 and 1). It was perfect! Especially the lots of space the place and the garden offer was great for us. Mirjam told us great excursion destinations (river bathing in the Krka!) and provided us with vegetables from her garden. We were also at Therme Catez, a great place for the kids. I also slept super well in the quiet and cool bedroom! We will be happy to come back!

The space was perfect for the three of us! So easy to walk/bike to the center of Ptuj and the on-site parking was a huge plus. Andrej was so so so nice and such a great host.

The apartment was really nice, in a great location (lots of places to park), spa is really close, and lots of places to have a walk in the nature. The apartment was spotless, looked like the pictures and felt like being at home. Peter ( the host) is really nice and helpful. I definitely recommend it and will come again!!

The apartment is clean, tidy, and well-equipped. Just walk a long hallway to the hot springs. My family and I had a great time.

Voukov mlin feels like you stepped in another reality: its nature is absolutely breathtaking and the house is so warm and welcoming! It is the perfect place to relax and recharge. Our kid loved the playground and our dogs loved the woods, creek, little lake… The house is super clean, warm, has everything you need for a perfect vacation and it is built with such eye for the details. Coffee on the balcony in the morning, falling asleep with the sound of the creek… It is just perfect!

We enjoyed this cozy cottage close to the lake very much. The cottage is small, but thanks to the baking sheet outside, you can also cook outside. The air conditioning certainly came in handy, but at night we could use some extra coolness in the separate bedroom. The bed was also a bit small there and could use some extra softness;). All the extras make it a very nice stay in nature: the hammock and sun loungers, the fire bowl, flowers and plants. The canoe and sub you can rent are also super nice to explore the lake. Across the street you can eat delicious ice cream and there are affordable cocktails with a very friendly service!

We had a wonderful week here, a beautiful view and several places to sit in the shade and or the sun. The house has all the amenities you need. We were received hospitably. The children enjoyed themselves in the garden.

We were there to celebrate our niece's 30th birthday, so there were quite a number of people coming and going. We had enough bedrooms to accommodate everyone. The house was lovely - with loads of space either to be alone or for groups of people to eat, or gather together and the gardens and view are sublime.

great choice for those who want to relax, in the house you find everything you need, we will probably come back in the summer

As a family of four with two young children (6 and 10) we absolutely loved our time at this beautiful Slovenian home. Slovenia itself is a stunning country to visit. The surroundings of the house are peaceful with beautiful views and we enjoyed lots of days around the pool and meals in the garden. The house is so pretty and there amenities are great, you really feel like you’re in a home away from home. We drove to lake bled for the day and also zip wired there and the postojna caves and castle were also a great day trip. We’re excited to come back and see a little more of the cities next time. What can I say? I’ve been wanting to book this beautiful old mill for a couple of years but it’s always booked when we’re coming and now I can see why! Such a stunning location on the banks of the River Krka. The house is well thought out and was super comfortable for our family of five. The welcome from Vid’s dad was great and we immediately felt right at home. The weather was extremely hot so we mostly lazed around in the garden and swam in the river in between watching kingfishers, herons and swans going about their business. The projector was a hit with the teens and worked well with our Apple TV. Eating on the deck with a beautiful sunset each night was a highlight, as was the outstanding star watching.
