Absolutely great hostel! Super clean, not too big, not too small, breakfast and towel available for a fee. And in the middle in the beautiful little town of Izola. You can walk anywhere you want or drive around the environment. I had a lovely stay, mainly due to the friendliness of Uroš, who owns the place and is fully at your service. Highly recommended.

Vielen Dank, ein später Checkin war, unproblematisch möglich, das optionale Frühstück hervorragend. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hat mitgedacht. Ein schöner Platz in einer wunderbaren Umgebung. Wir waren auf der Durchreise, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Overall its a good stay. Parking is little congested so be careful with big cars. However good value for money and overall a good experience

The location is perfect—calm, within walkable distance from the lake and from the bigger towns nearby. The apartment is reasonable for the price, the bed is huge, everything is tidy, we liked the balcony even while it rained outside. Although this apartment comes with no kitchen, Monica gave all the utensils we needed, so we managed without eating out always. Overall, the location, the responsive and helpful host, and the clean, compact space make it a great choice for shorter stays.

We booked this room basicly to have somewhere to sleep our first night in Slovenia, but Boruts place was suprisingly good! We stayed for a very short period of time but wish we had stayed longer to explore the area. Borut was flexible with the breakfast as was normally served from 08:00, which we appreciated a lot (We got served 07:30). And the breakfast was good! (Price 10 €/person)

Prachtig verblijf, vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaar, erg goed en verrassend ontbijt. Dit alles tussen de wijngaarden en olijfbomen. Wij hebben een dag gefietst met de e-bikes van het hotel, wat echt een aanrader is, de omgeving is echt geweldig. Het uitzicht vanuit de infinity pool is echt wel heel bijzonder. Al met al; zeker een aanrader.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft! Wie auf den Bildern! Kommunikation mit Katja und Ivo hat ohne Probleme funktioniert (Englisch und Deutsch). Super Ausstattung, alle Geräte haben einwandfrei funktioniert. Die Unterkunft war gut zu erreichen trotz Straßensperrung. Der Rückweg vom Strand zu Fuß ist zum Teil sehr steil. Wir waren äußerst zufrieden und werden die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen!!

Makuc’s Airbnb is such a dream. A wonderful house with beautiful rooms. We had a nice view over the pool and the landscape. The breakfast was very delicious. We are sad that we have to leave…

Great location, nice place for a short stay!

Great location to visit main attractions of Slovenia. Samo’s place is exactly as presented, clean, well equipped and cozy. Big terrace is also an advantage to rest after busy day 😀. Highly recommended!

Da wir so spontan gebucht hatten und der Preis so gering war, haben wir echt nicht vermutet, dass wir eines der Zimmer mit bestem Blick auf den Hafen und das Meer bekommen. Ebenso erstaunt waren wir, dass in dem Preis auch das Frühstück inbegriffen war. Da gab es eine leckere Auswahl! Wir konnten sehr flexibel ein- und auschecken. Danke für die Gastfreundschaft! ☀️

The staff are all great, helpful and friendly people, and suggested a hike that I really enjoyed. I felt so comfortable and relaxed at Hotel Jelka I hope I can come back again! The room is beautiful and has a great porch, I loved having that view. The food is excellent, I ate dinners and breakfast there and brought dinner leftovers for my lunches, and the view from the porch is also amazing. I walked from the hotel to a trailhead and enjoyed having access to beautiful trails right from the hotel.

Wonderful place to stay! The apartment was clean and cozy and the location was great! Belinda was a very kind host and I look forward to returning sometime in the future.
