Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Sligo

Chris is an excellent host! Very friendly, helpful and responsive. His place is everything we wanted and needed for our vacation and would love to stay there again. The views are incredible from every window in the house and Chris provided us with a lot of items in the kitchen to get us started! Thank you!

This place we just what we needed. Everything was clean and had all the amenities we could need. Within walking distance from the downtown area, it was very peaceful as well. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

An absolute hidden gem. My wife and I have to thank the owners who have so lovingly restored this old cottage (to include all modern comforts and conveniences) for sharing their little slice of heaven with us. We see it as an act of generosity. The cottage is straight out of an Irish postcard, surrounded by verdant fields and watched over by the magical tabletop mountains which guard the area. It could not be more perfect. Additionally, the company which manages the rental was amazing. The cottage is well stocked, cared for, and clean. Communication was nearly instantaneous and entry instructions and house do’s and don’ts cleverly explained through a YouTube video. Why don’t they all do that?! Thank you to Crusader Cabins. Keep up the good work. To the owners: they are well worth whatever commission they earn!

The cottage in Grange was a great place to stay. It had everything that we need, plus more!! Karen was a great communicator and met us on arrival, she explained everything in the cottage. Steve loved the scones that Karen had baked (and also the beer and wine that she left for us.) We based ourselves here for a couple of days on our trip around Ireland to explore this area and some family history as well, and to return to the cottage each night and relax was a bonus. It was great to have cooking facilities, and a washing machine and dryer. As we make our way around Ireland, our holiday is made so much easier when Airbnb hosts have basics in their cupboard, such as pepper, salt, oil, tea, coffee, sugar - and when hosts do that bit extra and have extra grocery items in their cupboards we appreciate it. Thank you Karen for all these additional things that you have in your cottage.

The children and I had a lovely peaceful stay. The house was cosy and clean with beautiful views!

Great stay at Rest Easky, great base to explore the Wild Atlantic Way, lovely quiet village with everything you need - groceries, cafe, pub, butchers, pottery shop. The interior was lovely, the bed was very comfortable, kitchen had everything required. Would stay here again when coming back to Easky!

Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und bietet auch für mehrere Fahrzeuge Parkmöglichkeiten. Gerard war sehr zuvorkommend und gab gute Tipps für Touren, um Ballina und die Region zu erkunden. Bei Problemen, die wir mit dem Motorrad hatten, haben uns alle sehr geholfen. Ein besonderes Highlight waren die Besuche im Pub nebenan, wo wir viele interessante Gespräche mit netten Leuten hatten. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

I can’t say enough about Annie’s place. Her place is SO COZY you don’t want to leave. It’s like stepping back to a simpler time, the bed was unbelievably warm and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with every single thing you’d need to cook with. The place has so much character! Bonus for us, there are cows right across the street that make for very cute neighbours ❤️

Had an amazing 5 nights in the apartment! wished we'd had longer. Even before landing Breeda was in contact with us, to ensure everything went smoothly. She met us despite it being late evening when we arrived so that we were clear on instructions. The apartment was beyond what we expected. It is ideally located, closeto everything in the town and transport. The apartment is very spacious but equally very warm and cosy so you can enjoy your time there. Without hesitation we will be returning and already passed on our recommendation to a family member who lives out of Town.

Ita's place is in a perfect, quiet location, the place was spotless when we arrived, and she always responded quickly whenever we had a question. The pictures don't do it justice 100%, it's far more spacious than it looks. Easy to access with vehicle, road up to the house is properly taken care of. Many beautiful sunsets we're seen on our stay as well - great views from the living room. Internet is fast. Not much else to say, our stay was perfect. Thanks again Ita!

Both Fionnuala and Damien were fabulous hosts, they are very friendly, generous and caring. The house was very clean and tidy, has everything we needed for a fantastic stay. Parking is just in front of the door, there is a full kitchen where we prepared most of our breakfasts and dinners. A washing machine was definitely a big plus and a separate bedroom which has a comfortable bed. They have a dog, Bertie, who love to play catch. Host even baked us a brown bread which was simply delicious, something we will miss for sure. Highly recommended and we would love to be back one day.

This is the standard by which all other AirB&Bs should be judged. Perfect in every way. Love the tranquil location. Patricia and John could not be more warm and hospitable. Beds are crisp, fresh and comfortable. Tastefully appointed. Everything is clean as a whistle. If you do not need cooking facilities and can navigate steps to the second floor, look no further — this place is for you!

Had a great stay in Stephen’s Apartment, lovely apartment and a good location right beside the beach and cafes/restaurants. Definitely recommend!

Bonjour, Maura a été extrêmement sympathique et a pris le temps de venir nous accueillir et nous expliquer en détail les différents points. Elle a gentiment accepté aussi de faire une machine de linge pour nous. L'endroit est paisible avec une petite épicerie est à proximité ainsi que des moutons. Cependant la photo du ponton si jolie ne se situe pas sur le lieu même du logement mais à quelques kilomètres. Le logement est bien équipé avec des produits de base. Nous avons été ravis de se séjour et recommandons vivement ce lieu et Maura

Geraldine’s welcome made us feel right at home. Everything was explained and made easy. Our self contained cottage was very comfortable and provided all our needs. Would definitely love to come back again one day if we’re lucky enough to travel to Ireland again. Magical time visiting attractions locally and all around Ireland.

Die Unterkunft ist sauber ruhig obwohl sie in Strassennähe ist. Die Einrichtung ist individuell, kunstvoll und nett. Die Betten sind komfortabel. Die selbstgemachte Süßigkeiten zur Begrüßung haben uns sehr gefreut. Mit dem Auto kann mann die Umgebung gut erkunden.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay – it was truly a welcoming experience! The location of the house is ideal for visiting all the main attractions in Sligo and is very well connected to the city. Anne was incredibly responsive and extremely helpful throughout our stay – she helped us a lot in exploring Sligo and making the most of our trip. What made the stay even more special was the warm hospitality from the hosts, along with the lovely company of Will (dog) and Lexie (Cat). We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Thanks again for such a pleasant stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed Eileen’s apartment - it was clean, comfortable and well-equipped for the few days we spent there. I’d recommend it as a great base from which to explore Sligo Town, Strandhill an the surrounding areas. Eileen was responsive and helpful throughout.

What a fantastic spot. We were 4 golfers and we each had a lovely bedroom with comfortable beds. We could see the golf course from the apartment. All Pubs and restaurants could be waked to and the beach was across the road. Fantastic place and we will be back.

Dympna est une hôte chaleureuse et disponible. Son logement est propre, bien équipé. Son emplacement en centre ville est parfait pour profiter des restaurants et pubs a proximité, tout en restant au calme pour la nuit (chambres côté cours). Emplacement idéal également pour découvrir le comté de Sligo! Je recommande!

Daniella's apartment was superb! We felt like the apt was in the middle of Sligo's tourist attractions coz all of them were only few minutes drive. Inside the place was squeaky clean and it's literally comfy to stay in. She provided our needs for the whole stay. Must be 10 stars for the rating! We had a lovely stay! Definitely a good recommendation to all ♥️

Damian è stato un super Host, accogliente e gentile, ci ha fornito tutte le informazioni utili per visitare la zona. La Casa è molto bella, curata e dotata di tutto il necessario. La posizione è il suo punto forte, ammirare il Benbulbin dalla finestra è spettacolare! Abbiamo soggiornato solo due notti ma avremmo voluto trascorre più tempo in questo posto stupendo. Consigliatissimo!
