Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Skorradalshreppur

This was a perfect jump off point for exploring the area! Short drive in every direction for hikes and attractions. Sleepy little town with amazing views right out front. Loa was wonderful with recommendations and information. The home was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

This is a country inn connected with the restaurant of the innkeeper. The rooms are spacious, bright, clean and tidy, with kitchen facilities and bathroom items fully equipped. The inn has a large hot tub, and there is also a sauna room next to it, both of which can be used free of charge. After taking a sauna, soak in the open-air hot tub while looking at the blue sky, which is extremely pleasant. The restaurant of the inn provides delicious fish and fish soup, as well as small portions of children's meals. The inn is near the vast farm, to the west are the beach and the sea, and to the east is the beautiful fjord. Sitting on the picnic chair beside the farm and looking at the distant mountains, the river at the foot and the boundless pasture, I feel that this is the meaning of life.

Una hat eine tolle Wohnung in der die Familie sonst selber lebt. Die gesamte Wohnung ist modern eingerichtet. Die Betten / Matrazen sind sehr gut und die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Die Waschküche nicht zu vergessen mit Waschmaschine und Trockner. Una und ihr Ehemann stehen bei Problemen schnell zur Verfügung. Wichtig zu wissen, dass es morgens lange dauern kann bis warmes Wasser kommt, aber es kommt :-) In naher Umgebung ist ein Bäcker (Kallabakkri), zu Fuss erreichbar. Gut Essen lässt sich mittags oder abends im "Galito". Una hat eine kleine Mappe mit Informationen zu Akranes vorbereitet. Bei Sonnenschein gerne zum Strand fahren. Rundum eine tolle Wohnung.

Absolutely beautiful setting, quiet & peaceful. Great, clean, comfortable apartment. Very spacious, great kitchen. Owner was super friendly, introduced us to his beautiful horses, shared interesting stories, it felt like home. Highly recommend!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Erla’s place! The home was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Erla was a kind and thoughtful host, and her communication was always clear and friendly. We especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the attention to detail. It felt like a true home away from home.

Wir, eine Gruppe von 7 Personen, durften eine ganze Woche das Club House und das umliegende Anwesen des Hvammsvik Spa genießen. Das Club House ist eines von 5 Häusern und bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten und vieles mehr! Die Lage ist unbeschreiblich, es ist einfach ein Traum! Alles war richtig sauber, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bei jedem Wetter urgemütlich. Die Schlafzimmer waren allesamt mit sehr guten Betten, Kissen und Bademänteln ausgestattet. Die Bäder sehr sauber und mit allem Zubehör bestückt (Handtücher, Toilettenpapier, Body wash, Shampoo etc.) Am Morgen ist der Blick aus dem Fenster einfach wunderbar und am Abend tanzen die Nordlichter am Himmel! Noch nie haben wir so tolle Nordlichter gesehen. Das Hvammsvik Spa ist unweit vom Haus entfernt und es ist ein Juwel. Mein Mann und ich waren zum 19. mal in Island, lieben dieses wunderschöne Land und haben stets tolle Unterkünfte bewohnt… aber dieser Ort, dieses Club House ist etwas ganz besonderes. 💙❤️

Séjour d'une nuit, Svava s'est rendu disponible et l'accueil à été chaleureux. l'annonce est tout à fait conforme au logement. Pas de problème de promiscuité malgré le partage de la salle de bain ainsi que de la cuisine. Nous recommandons sans problème ce logement pour une etape courte et/ou intermédiaire :-).

An absolutely stunning lake side villa close to the famous Golden Circle. We used it as our base for a week to explore Iceland with friends. We were two families, with three children in total. The villa is simply stunning, so beautiful and the perfect home away from home. We all loved returning back in the evenings and enjoying the sauna and hot tub. Then the grown ups sat up late to take in the never ending sun outside, snuggled with blankets and fire pit for company. We lost track how many photos we all took of the lake. We also enjoyed our coffee in the morning over looking the lake and running the loop around the lake. Communication was excellent and Telma couldn't have been more responsive or helpful. We 100% recommend and will be back!

The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Having a washer and dryer was a huge plus. Check-in was easy, and the location was simple to find. The views were stunning, and enjoying coffee on the deck each morning was a highlight. The drive to Reykjavik and nearby attractions was very manageable (about 30 minutes for most places we visited). One helpful tip: consider where you'll spend most of your time. We explored the southern coast mostly and didn’t fully realize how tiring longer drives would feel after full days out. This is by no means a downside to the house or its location—both were wonderful! It’s simply a helpful tip for others planning their itinerary: take travel times into consideration based on your daily plans. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and truly appreciated the comfort and beauty of this home and our host was great!
