we enjoyed our stay very much, after our afternoon iin the car how wonderful if was to kick off our shoes on the back pourch in two rocking chairs and to listen to the river flow. Our room was very clean, the host was very helpful and responded quickly to our only issue, we needed more sugar. Couldn't have been any happier with our selection and strongly recommend Karey's to all in the area

Great spot! Super walkable which is what we were looking for. The place was exactly as described (quirks of an older house included). If you’re looking for a clean, nice spot to sleep at night with a gorgeous view to wake up to and coffee/restaurants in walking distance this is the perfect place. We were also able to walk across the bridge to the river so we rarely had to drive which was great!

The stay at Julie's place was great. No complaints. Easy to find and such great restaurants and shops to walk to from the place. Accessible to hiking . We would stay here again.

Wonderful walkable location. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed to make several meals. The place was very quiet and restful.

Ideal spot, great views of the Columbia River, easy to walk to local restaurants and the park. House is clean, comfortable, and the hosts were easy to work with.

What a wonderful place to stay in Hood River! It was our daughters wedding week and Maury's place fit all of our needs perfectly. Fantastic space and amazing kitchen for gathering around and cooking! The house definitely felt larger than the photos suggest, which was a bonus. Loved the Pine Street coffee shop that was right down the street. Our morning jaunt! Location is not too far from town, and made for a great walk (though hilly). Will definitely be back and would rent Maury's place in a heart beat!

Amazing location! Jacob was super friendly and communicative. We ended up getting 6 inches of snow up there and had a blast sledding down the hills with our kids. Would love to come back again sometime!

Wonderful house that has updated appliances, is very quaint with cute decor and nice views of Mt Adams. The one thing that should be noted is that the house is located on a busy intersection, luckily Matt has a jar full of ear plugs for sleeping but just something to note for other guests, there is a significant amount of noise during the day.

We were in town for a family wedding and everything worked out great. We could walk downtown for breakfast and for a night cap after family activities.

This location is the perfect spot for walkability to all downtown Hood River offers! Cute and smartly decorated with all your needs available. Loved the back covered patio too. Perfect spot for morning coffee! It was great having the two bathrooms so two people can get ready at once. Generous sized bedroom and two tvs also! Fast internet if you need to get some work done. The dining table was great size because you could easily seat 4 people or pull it out to seat six OR dine on the covered patio! We will be back!

Lyudmila and Jim are terrific hosts! We had a great stay at their condo in Hood River. The location is great - right on the main street of Hood River (Oak St.) located near all sorts of restaurants and shops - there's even a nice coffee shop right downstairs. The big windows allow you to look out over Oak St. and see the pretty shops below. The condo itself is spacious, well appointed, and very clean! The hosts are very communicative and friendly. We had a wonderful time at this property and will be back!

I gave a 5-star review because I truly loved the house, especially the large windows, amazing master bathroom, back porch area and hottub, location and the small touches like paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, laundry and dish soap, etc. Walmart is 1/2 mile away. We did have an issue with the thermostat, however it was taken care of. My main concern was that I was traveling with my 73 year old Mother. I was not aware of all the stairs in the home. Upon entry there is a huge set of stairs to get to the living, dining, kitchen and main floor restroom. Once on the main floor, there are two more sets of stairs that take you to the bedrooms on the upper level. My Mother ended up sleeping in the recliner most of the time. This was actually the first time I stayed in a Airbnb that had recliners in the living room, they were great! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the price was lower than most in the area considering the size of the home and the amenities. I would stay again!

Overall the stay was great. Excellent accommodations for two couples, and a gorgeous view of Mt. Adams. Very nice neighborhood and great walking distance from town.

This is a general note: keypad door locks are not all the same & therefore it's important to communicate the 1st step. For instance, it must be lit up before pressing the 1st number and the need to lastly rotate the 'thumb turn' in a certain direction. Locking up is also a procedure that wasn't fully explained. I realize if people use Airbnbs often, they already know this. But for novices, tired after a long flight & drive, the locking & unlocking should be crystal clear, step by step.
