Nice house, very nice for 8 people. The views are amazing, the terraces are beautiful and the pool is very beautiful! Although we were there in December, we were able to have lunch and dinner on the deck and use the bbq (which was cleaned every day!) and even the pisicine. There is a small beach at 10 minutes walk. Agios is a 5-10 minute drive away. Ionna was very welcoming, responsive, and helpful. We would recommend it in a second.

We stayed in this beautiful house for the 2nd time and it was a very successful stay again. We really had enough space for 8 and were able to enjoy the huge outdoor area. This time there was even the tip that you can order food at the local tavern under Naso's name, also wonderful. You definitely need a car, otherwise the surroundings are difficult to access. The sea is rather far, but with Neapoli a cute little town nearby.

The very best location to be. You may say "how do you know? You haven't tried all appartments" But I know because it is impossible to find better: beautiful house decorated with extreme taste and super furnished and with the best views over three sides: lake, pedestrian streets and seaside and in the very heart of town: all best amenities and shops where just downstairs!. Janna is always ready to help and you can contact her at any time and you really feel at home and not alone in a foreign country. Best holiday guaranteed.

Perfect welcome, very kind and professional... The view is superb and the staff is always attentive... very friendly and excellent restaurant....and perfect breakfast. Absolutely brilliant place - the rooms are large and equipped with everything you'd need. There were refreshments and basic breakfast items like marmalade, butter and toast. Huge balcony with amazing views to both sunrise and sunset, over the mountains and over the garden/swimming pool to the sea. Beach is just across the street, it was an easy drive into town for restaurants and the amazing day trip to Chrissy island. Irene was very welcoming and friendly. Overall a very luxurious and comfortable experience, I hope to come back one day for a longer stay!

We had a wonderful stay here. Very peaceful. Often all you will hear are the bells clanging from the local goats. Delicious food at the onsite taverna. Beautiful lodge, with special touches such as a bottle of wine waiting for us to congratulate us on our wedding. Of note, this villa is very high up in the mountains. If you're flying into heraklian airport that evening, it's a long and dark drive up some very narrow and winding roads, so you may want to make the drive in the daytime. It's about an hour drive up/down the mountain to any other town so be prepared to drive. But the scenery is beautiful...majestic mountains.

This is it - heaven on Earth! Only go here if you can accept this is the best of the best, you have reached perfection, nothing else will measure up. And at some point you will have to leave! Paras was the perfect host, so friendly, knowledgeable and generous. A very interesting and engaging individual. The property is utter perfection. It appears like an oasis, surrounded by lovely plants, trees etc. The whole place is of the highest standard. Even when the wind blew we arrived in the evening to find the leaves etc had been discreetly swept up and the grounds tidied. It has a perfect balance of shade and areas to catch some rays. We spent the mornings by the pool, afternoons at the beach a few minutes away then evenings in the local area having the finest food. The building is air conditioned and has shutters so we slept so well. We can't thank Paras enough for the best holiday ever.

Luisa's place is a magnificent little gem nestled in an amazing surrounding. It's the perfect hideout if you enjoy the tranquility of village life and hiking the mountains. The little house is beautifully decorated with local materials and furniture, giving it a warm and cozy feel. The view from the terrace is breathtaking! (also for looking at the stars at night) We thoroughly enjoyed our hikes in the mountains and gorges, and dining at the family tavernas in the neighbouring towns/villages, which offered delicious food. Luisa was extremely helpful and responsive, providing us with a long list of excellent recommendations for restaurants, day trips, shopping, and more. Thanks for everything, Luisa! We will certainly come back!

Pasiphae House was something out of a dream! It was beautifully designed in the traditional Crete Village homes style. The location is isolate in the mountains, but amongst a great community of people. We were greeted by Yianna and Koula that gave us the walk through of the house, and we're always in constant communication. Ioanna supplied us with a long list of things to do and try in the area which we took full advantage of. Overall it was a beautiful stay and would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time. The villa felt private even though there are two other villas next door. My friends and I loved the pool and how spacious the whole place was. We had stunning views of the nearby sea and town. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom. The only negative was the water pressure in the upstairs showers. Nota was very accommodating. She offered to clean the apartment during our stay and helped us arrange our hire cars. (From my group's experience, a car is highly recommended as taxis and public transport weren't great). The village, beaches and restaurants in the area were also great. Overall, my friends and I were very happy with our stay and would definitely come back.

If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place to be. Vacation away from tourism in the Cretan mountains. We especially enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and the pool. In September, however, it is already much cooler on the mountain than on the coast. Since a car is absolutely necessary anyway, we were able to switch to the beaches on windy or cloudy days. Konstantinos gave us great tips on request and we were offered free cleaning 2x. Clear recommendation!

Just outside the busy city, quiet, many hiking trails, coffee cafes, and beautiful sunrises from the terrace. I stayed 1 month and highly recommend Panorama Villas.

One of the nicest places we've stayed so far! The little house is secluded, complete tranquility & deceleration! We enjoyed the days here, the terrace under the house invites you to lie in the sun, read and enjoy the view. The view is amazing, even from bed. The path is adventurous and not for the faint of heart by car - extremely steep and more for ATVs, but we also managed with a small rental car. The kitchen is well equipped and everything you need is there. It's about a 15-minute walk to Mochlos! Very recommended to anyone looking for peace and quiet!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay! In this family home, we immediately felt welcome. The kitchen is well equipped and the garden full with fruits. Our children found a little playground, some toys and stuff for the beach. The little village is easy to reach and offers good and chilled restaurants. Even at the end of October/beginning of November we could swim in the sea - the south is much warmer than the north. Within an hour there are some really nice hiking routes. We will come back :-)

The House on the Hill is a little gem. It was just perfect for my husband and myself but would also be great for 2 couples. As others have said, the immediate surroundings are not the prettiest but you don't notice that from inside the house or from the lovely enclosed garden seating area. You can see all the way to the sea and there are lovely sunrises. Nice large bedroom with big bed and good ensuite bathroom. Very easy to walk into town for a good selection of tavernas. Virginie is very helpful and easy to communicate with.

The house was wonderful, a lovely design and much larger than we'd expected, and beautifully furnished. All the rooms (of which there were many) were a good size, so for the four of us we had a lot of space. The views were spectacular, from all the terraces, balconies and the upstairs living room, and the swimming pool was a good size, approximately 7m x 4m and 1.6 deep throughout. Comfortable beds, clean white towels and bedding; everything was spotless. The house is at the end of a track and although there are a few other houses around it was very quiet and no passing traffic. Michael was an excellent host, living next door he was available but not obtrusive, responded quickly to our queries, and he gave us some good suggestions where to go. We'd love to return!

We had a great stay as a family with a toddler! The whole environment very nice and well maintained, the apartments are original & tidy / clean. Here and there, the kitchen is somewhat reduced, but we found our way around. Christos is very friendly, check-in and check-out were super easy. We'll be back! Thank you for everything

Great apartment with a great view of the entire city of Malia. Location private and alone on the mountainside above Malia, should/must have a car due to the location on the mountainside. Very kind and welcoming host who is easily accessible on the phone. Many great restaurants in the old town just below the mountainside. We've had a wonderful few weeks here.

The house was very comfortable for our family. We especially loved the pool and outdoor living area with the beautiful gardens surrounding it. Jenny is a wonderful host! The location was ideal for exploring the East end of Crete.

Check-in and check-out was super easy. Our host was very accommodating. There was a nice and delicious host gift to get in. When the vacuum cleaner was broken, he picked it up and brought it back a few days later. The villa is slightly elevated overlooking the infinity pool, associated olive grove and Malia. The view is gorgeous. You are lonely (except for the crickets), but still within 10 minutes walking in the city, where there are a bakery with delicious cakes and baguette / croissants in addition to several supermarkets, lots of restaurants, right by the church. The house is equipped with everything you could need. It is nicely decorated, with decoration, many pictures and books (also which in German). There is a foosball that we liked to use. The pool is gorgeous, about 1.40 m deep (our son is 1.44 m tall and was able to hold your head over water on your toes. The pool may be 6m x 3.50m. It's just appreciated. He was enough for us. It is nice that often despite the 30 - 32 degrees Celsius a light wind went, so it was a lot of fun to stay in and around the pool. We were able to park our rental car under a carob tree on the property, so that it was always in the shade. We highly recommend staying at Villa Verde.

We booked the apartment as the second week of a two week stay in Crete. We do not usually stay in multi apartment complexes but we were booking late and choice was a little limited. We were a little worried that the complex might be busy and noisy but this could not have been further from the truth. The accommodation exceeded our expectations and we would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area. South Eastern Crete is a little slower and quieter which we liked, but the apartment is still in walking distance to some lovely family tavernas, mini markets and beaches. The apartment was a good size, with everything we needed, and great aircon. All bedding and towels (including pool towels) was provided. The pool was clean, large, cool and lovely. Off street parking was provided. We would recommend this apartment to anyone exploring Eastern Crete - lots to see and do, some great beaches and fab places to eat.

We spent an unforgettable month in this beautiful villa facing the sea. We had everything we needed, including excellent cleaning and washing services. Yannis was attentive and responsive to all our needs and fulfilled all our wishes and beyond. Thank you for a wonderful vacation

We looked for and found summer again in autumn! The location of the house is impressive! You could just look into the distance the whole time and enjoy the view. The pool and the entire complex are a feast for the eyes. It is very clean and well maintained, and we were greeted with olive oil, wine and raki. A small bay is easily accessible via self-built steps. Gravel beach and turquoise water await you there. Nearby is a small supermarket, and also within walking distance are two taverns that offer delicious food at very reasonable prices. A dream for adults seeking tranquility and leisure! We will be back!
