Vacation rentals in Šipan

My boyfriend and I stayed 6 nights at Renato's place. We were received very nicely and with homemade schnapps and snacks. The apartment is well-equipped and has everything you need. The apartment remains cool even at higher outside temperatures, but air conditioning is also provided. The views from the apartment are a dream - whether from the bedroom, the terraces or the living room. We spent many hours there and enjoyed the tranquility. In addition to the relaxing terraces, there was also a private sea access, which has two loungers ready. Renato was available the whole time. On arrival and departure, we had nice conversations with valuable tips about the area (many sights within half an hour). On departure, Renato brought us a snack bag for the onward journey. Very warm. Thank you for everything, we will be happy to come back.

By some measure the best Airbnb experience we have had. A perfect apartment on a perfect island. Communication with Ben and Tanja was effortless and they were quick to respond and always helpful. The apartment is better than the fine images suggest. A five star experience, highly recommended.

This stay was perfect in every way. The photos can’t capture just how lovely the home and the property are. Being at the house was as much of an experience as the rest of the island. We loved the breeze flowing through the open windows as we cooked. We loved the architecture and decor and lighting. The house is in a great location, close enough to the harbor (where the restaurants and market are), a beautiful hike to a cliff side church, and several beaches (some rocky, one sandy). Also, going in May, the beginning of the season, meant the island was peaceful. The afternoons were sunny and warm. The evenings had cozy thunderstorms. It was hard to leave!

We had a wonderful stay at Katarina's house in Sipanska Luka. Katarina is very open, friendly and a very good host. We enjoyed the view from the beautiful terrace, we felt comfortable in the apartment, we didn't miss anything. Katarina also gave us some vegetables straight from her beautiful garden. Due to the fact that there were no new guests on the same day, we could stay longer in the apartment after checking out until our ferry left. We would really like to come back to Katarina's apartment and to beautiful Sipanska Luka. So, a warm recommendation from us.

We spend two weeks in Trsteno house and we had a great time The house is located in a beautiful botanical garden with a stunning sea view. We loved watching the sunset, swimming in the sea, playing cards and spending time together as a family. One of the reasons I chose the house was, because I wanted a quiet and safe location. One of my sons is Autistic we wanted to keep away from busy hotels and holiday resorts. This place has it all. The house is clean, the kitchen has everything you need to cook if you want to, great shower and stunning views. Majas parents live next door and they are very nice people. Anka, Majas mum brought us some home grown fruit and vegetables. Ivo, Majas dad took us to Lopud island on his boat. Maja is one of the most helpful aquick responding hosts. I felt like I had a private tourist guide on my phone. I could tell she loves her country and has a very good knowledge about where to go and what to do. We loved every minute of our holiday.

Staying at this place was the highlight of our holiday - we visited various Croatian islands in the southern area around Dubrovnik and this apartment and Lopud the island were fantastic. Firstly, Lopud is a must-visit island - it has such a great buzz but is chilled and not too busy. The harbour is gorgeous and perfect for sunset dinners, with lots of great restaurants to choose from. The island has a great large sandy beach and lots of other swimming spots. It also has fantastic hiking trails, interesting buildings and the amazing Your Black Horizon art pavillion which is well worth a visit. This apartment was the perfect base for our stay. Firstly its better than the pictures (not always the case) - its a brand new apartment, everything is pristine and beautifully fitted out and very comfortable. Its so spacious and light with a gorgeous view. It faces west to the sunset which means the terrace with the sea view is lovely and cool in the morning. I cannot praise the apartment enough.

Rade's and Vlatka's apartment is a perfect place to stay on Šipan, a paradise island. The place itself is comfortable, clean and located privately, yet very close to beaches, market, restaurants. Šipanska Luka is a perfectly tranquil village, beautiful and natural. And now, the best - the hosts! It was a pure pleasure to be their guest. From picking me up from a port to helping in not being late for a ferry in Suruđađ, and during all my stay I felt just kindness and genuine care. I plan to come back!
