Fabulous accommodations. Helpful that luggage could be checked into hotel ahead of time since we had 2 different tours booked with a guide and unit wasn’t available prior to 3pm. Very clean, loved having own en-suite bathrooms for each room. Would stay here again and again!

It was a pleasure staying at Ricardo’s place. The place is on the first floor of the house and has big lawns, fruit orchards and ample parking space. The view of low hills and sunrise from the balcony was beautiful. My daughter enjoyed the hammock in the balcony. Overall it was a very nice, peaceful and soul soothing stay in natural surroundings.

Cosy Little house between mountain and sea

BorbalaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I had a great time at Anabela's place. The house is very pretty and clean, looks like the photos, and it is set in a very quiet village, with beautiful view to the surrounding mountains. If you want a quiet, tranquil place for your stay, this is perfect. Anabela is very friendly and helpful. There are lots to do in the neighbourhood, with a car it is very easy to get around. I was without a car, and even on foot it was easy to get around: the beach is just 1 hour walk from the house, there are frequent bus connections to Sintra, Corales and Cascais, the bus stop is approx. 20 minutes walk from the house. I highly recommend Anabela's place, I had a great time there, wish I could have stayed longer.

New Duplex Villa 8 | Sintra Historic Centre

ElizabethRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Authentic stay in the enchanting village of Sintra! Pedro’s place is just a few steps away from the hustle and bustle of the more populated streets which puts you right in the heart of things and allows you to sleep. The property has a very authentic Portuguese feel which we appreciated. We did use the pullout couch in the living room which makes for a tight squeeze, but totally worth it. Pedro was very communicative throughout the entire process. Thank you Pedro! Tip: If you go to Pena Palace/Morrish Castle, there are gentlemen at the bottom of the hill selling rides. We opted to walk and are SO GLAD we did. The hike through the Villa Sassetti is beautiful. We were not carrying anything, and it is a hike, so moderate physical ability is a good thing. There are free bathrooms along the way. My husband (55), my daughter (16) and I (49 with a “mom” body) got to the top in about 30 minutes. Drivers try to tell you it’s an hour - it’s not. Watch for pick pocketers outside castles!

A real getaway in the middle of nature! Encosta do Almargem is the ideal place to relax, recharge and let the children explore freely. The space is cozy, clean and very well maintained — everything thought out in detail. The outdoor area is wonderful for family barbecues, and the silence of the area invites you to rest. Lorenzo, 2 and a half years old, loved every moment! Thank you for your hospitality — we'll definitely be back!

BEAUTIFUL VERANDA MAGOITO

EmmaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We spent a few days at Nathy's apartment which has a beautiful ocean view. The accommodation is impeccable and very well decorated . Nathy welcomed us very well upon arrival and provided us with all the information we needed to have a good stay. And also, we had a basket filled with sweets, wine, bread and more. I recommend this very well located and exceptional accommodation with this magnificent view of the sea and 5 minutes' walk to the beach.

Discover Secrets of a Kings Life

MaryRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We really enjoyed our 3 nights in the historic center of Sintra. It’s a beautiful small town area to be in. The apartment has everything you need. The location is very cool overlooking the main square. We enjoyed watching the town wake up in the mornings. So many restaurants and bakeries just steps from the front door. We had fun with that after coming from the Azores which are very quiet and remote. In the off season of early May, Sintra closes down by 7 pm. There are very few restaurants or shops open once the day tripping tourists leave. We were surprised by that but didn’t mind it as we were tired after our days spent walking around palaces and castles and beautiful gardens. I’d recommend this apartment to anyone as long as they don’t have mobility issues. There are 33 steps to climb once inside the building. Climbing them was worth it for the views of the historic center of Sintra.

Beautiful apartment for our stay in Lisbon. Really close to lots of nice attractions such as the castle and viewpoints and easy to walk down to the waterfront. There are plenty of restaurants/cafes nearby to eat and also easy to access through uber if you want to go further afield. The pool and garden space is a particular highlight of the apartment - great to relax in the afternoon post sightseeing! Wonderful communicative hosts who were very helpful with recommendations and accommodating of our check in and out times. Would highly recommend a stay here and hopefully we will come back for another visit!

Sintra: Fountain House

AnselmoRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What a wonderful place, what wonderful people, what a place and wonderful location. Silencio, tranquility, cozy. Dna Ricarda and his Mother Dna Jacinta. Next to it had a wonderful lunch at the Recreational Society, and there we met the managers of the place, Ana and Sandra. Wonderful service and wonderful food. I remembered my grandfather for the food he served. Note 1000.

Maria Saudade Apartment

JenniferRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a fabulous time in Sintra. Sonia was a great hostess who was very accommodating and helped take care of our luggage while we waited for the place to be ready. We were allowed to enter a bit early which was a blessing after a long red eye flight to Lisbon. The place is centrally located with great views of the town and of the Moorish Castle right above Sintra. Walking distance to everything - museums, shops, restaurants and a great hike up to Moorish and Pena Castle. Place is well maintained and was very well stocked with a little welcoming package which was great. The place has the basics and there are convenience stores to get the necessities. We ventured out and walked to the local grocery store with a lot of up and down. Bring running shoes as you will do a lot of walking. Cannot recommend this place enough. Beds are comfy. Bathrooms are modern and clean. We also loved the Pizzeria across from our place that is nestled among trees and very interesting statues.

Sintra 23 - apartment 3 bedrooms historical center

RossRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Excellent stay. The location was great - and the home was clean and spacious for all 5 of us (family, including 19mo old). The child-friendly toys and crib/high-chair were huge helps. The location was just around the corner from great shops and restaurants. And we hiked from the Airbnb to the top of the Pena Palace. We stayed for 2 nights, and I wish we had time to stay longer. Would highly recommend for groups that need 3 bedrooms in Sintra!

Authentic apartment with great terrace, Alfama

AndrewRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The apartment is fantastic, like staying in a piece of history. Wilfried has taken great care with the renovations and has also kitted out the apartment with high quality bedding and toiletries. Kitchen is really well equipped and Wilfried provided a vast array of coffees and teas. The rooms and bathroom layout worked well for us, a family of five with three grown-up sons, so everyone had their own room and slept well. The location is perfect, very central and easy to walk to most attractions or use Uber for going slightly further out. Its in a busy location with a lovely atmosphere. We weren't troubled by any noise - the trams and bars also close relatively early anyway. Wilfried is great and pro-active communicator. Everything was clean and Eugenia was a delight to meet. Thank you, we would love to stay again.
