House vacation rentals in Sint Maarten

We had an amazing time staying in Mike's home. The house itself is clean, safe, and a perfect place to relax in the pool with a view. Michael was a great communicator leading up to the trip and gave us fantastic recommendations. Once we arrived, Peaches was there for us in everyway, constantly responsive to our questions and even picked up a lost item from a taxi for us! My biggest recommendation if you stay here is to rent a car, the house is a bit further back in a neighborhood ( makes for a nice and quiet area) but pretty difficult if you would like to walk anywhere. There are restaurants and bars just a few minutes away a long with a number of grocery stores. Driving to both Marigot and Phillipsburg only took around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic, so the house was in a great location to get around the island. Would absolutely stay there again.

Oliver's place is a gem for its location and amenities. The property was very nice, and the views from the pool were truly great. Its location is excellent - a quick and easy walk to the beach and a variety of restaurants. The convenience of a local market and shopping nearby was also a real bonus. I appreciated how quiet and safe the area felt.

Our stay for 8 people was wonderful. The area is more beautiful than imagined, and the pictures surely do not do it justice. The house is very private, and you need to traverse a couple large hills in order to get there. We had to swap out our first rental car because the tread felt very unsafe and struggled on some of the hills, but otherwise we really appreciated the privacy and sweeping views of the water from the villa.

Even better the 2nd time around. Vincent and team are great - communication is excellent. Couldn’t ask for a better place to spend a week!

My family and I had an amazing week at this property. The pool was small but nice and deep and the kids had a great time in it. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were incredibly comfy. We were missing a few minor items but they were quickly delivered when we asked about them. I can't imagine staying here without access to a car - it's really a must. The drive up is steep and windy and the roads are narrow so be prepared - but that really is island life! The view from this place is unbeatable. I made sure to be home every night for sunset just so I could sit and watch the sun go down. So peaceful. One thing I would note to anyone going soon - the property across the street is being renovated and there is quite a bit of trades noise first thing in the morning. It didn't affect our stay at all other than may be not having our morning coffee outside. I'd love to come back to SM and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

This is a remarkable home and location. We could have stayed all day and soaked up the sun and views on the patio and in the lounge pool. The location is great to explore the island from. It is also quiet and peaceful. We decided to stay in the upper side of the island so getting to Orient Bay and Grand Case was a breeze. The home is within 15-20 minutes by car to some of the best restaurants we’ve ever been to. There’s also a great cafe within 10 minutes for coffee and pastries. Maia was very helpful and also taking advantage of the property concierge was very nice to get our trip started and help line up a few things for us. With two young children this was so perfect and the best vacation we’ve ever had!

Villa Victoria was a beautiful choice for our first time on the island! The home sits high in the hills of the Oyster Pond area overlooking the meticulously maintained pool, grounds and sea. The layout of the home was perfection for our party of 6 with 3 en-suite baths, and plenty of spots to take in the views from the top or bottom balconies. The home was very well maintained with 2 housekeeping visits during our stay and comfortable beds and furnishings. To top it off, Jenna is a responsive host who answers all questions within minutes and gave a detailed house and local area guide with excellent recommendations! We could not have picked a more ideal home!

My stay at Smaart Vacation exceeded my expectations. Everything was as it was described on the booking site. The view was breathtaking! The property was in the perfect location. It was a lot to do in the area. I will book with them again in the near future. Look no further for a perfect stay in SXM.

The host was incredibly responsive and kind. The pool was amazing, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was within walking distance to the beach and restaurants, and only an 8-minute drive from the airport.

Clark’s place was beautiful. It was spotless, modern, beautifully decorated, and well stocked with all the extras. There were four of us and we had lots of space. The beds were extremely comfortable and each room had its own bathroom. The grounds were stunning, with a pool and direct access to the ocean. Our favorite place was Clark’s deck that had the most incredible views of the gardens and ocean. We could have stayed there all day and night watching the boats, and the ever changing skyline, and sunsets. The location was very central and in a great area. It was within a few blocks (about 5-15 minute walk) to beaches, fun cafes, restaurants, and shops. It was an easy drive to main attractions on the island (e.g., Maho Beach, Orient Bay). Clark was an excellent host - very responsive and answered any questions that we had. We all loved our stay and would highly recommend it!

The house was just as described—perfect for our group of 4 adults and 1 child. The basement room with shared bath and divider worked fine. The kitchen was well-equipped. Bathrooms were clean, had hot water, and included a hairdryer. The home was very clean, and the cleaning service came during our stay. The host was responsive and helpful when we had a small issue with the safe. Great location—short walk to the beach, restaurants, and a small market. The beach was perfect for relaxing, swimming, and floating. My 13-year-old niece loved snorkeling daily! We brought our own snorkel gear and water shoes, which helped with the rocky entry and sea urchins. The pool and patio were amazing—we used the pool daily. Plenty of towels and floaties were available. We brought a few of our own as well. Having a designated parking spot was very convenient. Overall, a fantastic stay. We’d definitely return!

My family and I stayed for 5 days and it was spectacular. Mariana and Manoj, the owners, stayed in contact with us throughout our entire stay. The view is breathtaking and the surrounding is peaceful and friendly. We wish our stay was longer. Would definitely recommend this place!

We had the honor of renting John’s place to celebrate a girls 40th birthday trip. The location was a perfect mix of walkable to restaurants/bars/beach and felt secluded on the beautiful back porch and pool with an amazing view. We stayed in and watched movies two nights even, because it felt like home! Loved how it had character and felt familiar, and John was extremely great at corresponding and giving us awesome recommendations. I hope to go back!!! After exploring other neighborhoods driving around, we realized this was a right choice. Having live entertainment so close at the red piano was a big plus too!! Thanks, John!!!

Selected for the beauty of the location, pool and price! Frank was an excellent airbnb host. From the beginning communications, initineary suggestions, few questions we had - til the end of our trip wishing us safe travels! Max checked on us twice, and was there when we had questions (one brown out in the evening, lasting less than 1 hr - enjoyed games on the porch). The villa was beautiful with a heavenly view! The beach is best for hiking and exploring. We had everything we needed, very well equipt (except washer (or at least a dryer) which we knew weren't there, no worries, but we really did miss having at least a dryer, since most things do not dry out as quickly as you would like them to. Upstairs guest wanted darker blinds - allowing for sleeping in - and we all would have enjoyed the deck more if there was a way to provide even a little shade. St. Maarten is beautiful, we WILL be back. Thanks Frank!

It was okay. Mostly there to sleep and relax. First got there the sliding door was not working properly. We fixed it ourselves. Shower head came off in one of the bathrooms. They did come and fix it but charged us for it. Shouldve been included with the booking in my opinion. There was no extra toilet paper or paper towels. More garbage bags would be nice as well. All in all, goodnplace to stay

We had an amazing stay at this condo! The hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive, making communication smooth and effortless from start to finish. The condo itself was perfect for celebrating my son’s 16th birthday, and the pool area made for an unforgettable party. I highly recommend this place to locals looking for a getaway, staycation, or a great spot to celebrate special events. Will definitely be back.

The host provided everything we could have needed from beach towels, beach chairs, sunscreen lotion, restaurants and the list goes on and on….I HIGHLY would recommend you stay here when visiting SXM.

Roland’s place awesome. Well worth the stay. The condo is a great space. We all loved it. Great swimming pool. Not too big or deep for kids and big enough for an adult to do a few laps in the mornings. Everything is within minutes of driving. But make sure you have a car if you choose to stay here. The only issue I would have to point out is locating the property if you don’t live there. There seems to be an issue with the mailing address and gps. GPS will take you to some other property that has the same address. Once you figure this out and learn the neighborhood then it’s not a problem anymore. Anyway., my special thanks goes to Roland for his response and also to Manoj and Marianna for being extremely great accommodating hosts. Thanks again.

An enchanting hidden gem in an excellent location of Philipsburg surely to appeal to world travelers seeking to experience life as a local in a tourism hotspot of St. Maarten. The house was recently renovated and is exactly as shown in the photos. Not shown in the photos are the remarkable views of Great Bay one enjoys from the front steps day and night. We were fortunate to be staying on New Year’s Eve and observed the most amazing and breathtaking fireworks display from the Airbnb. Leonard is a wonderful, kind, and professional host. The work he has done to restore this property is impressive and was a pleasure to enjoy. The walk/drive up the driveway is steep, but we took enjoyment in walking it to find ourselves steps from Bobby’s Marina, the Boardwalk, and many local restaurants, shops, supermarkets and bars. If you love local experiences like we do, this is a can’t miss experience at an exceptional value with unforgettable memories awaiting!

Great stay. If I was to change anything, it would be: warmer pool..I think because fresh water constantly circulates, it never has a chance to warm up.

There's a reason Fleur de Mar has a near perfect rating. Their villa was one of the nicest we've ever stayed in. The view is incredible and the villa has everything you could possibly need. It also was close to everything. They were quick to respond to any questions I had. I'd also like to give a big thank you to Donald their house manager. Talk about responsive, he literally showed up within minutes when we had an issue with the air conditioning. He was super friendly and called to wish us a safe journey home. I can't wait to go back!
