Peaceful Sakonnet Getaway

SabrinaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We stayed at this beautiful home in Little Compton for a girls trip to Newport, and it was absolutely perfect. The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and even more charming in person than in the photos. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the peaceful setting was a great escape after a day out exploring. Even though we spent most of our time in Newport, the drive wasn’t bad at all — and honestly, we loved coming back to such a calm, scenic place. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, which made the whole experience even better! We would 100% recommend this stay and are already talking about booking the same house again in the future!

Bubbly sunlit Newport cottage fantastic beach area

MarkusRating, 5 stars7 months ago
The cottage is located on the same property as three other rentals, a large house and two smaller once. Depending on how many of them are occupied, privacy can vary. During our stay the two smaller homes were rented as well. Unfortunately the backyard is not completely fenced, but there was on piece of fence that allowed us to block the one open spot, so our dogs didn’t run away. The cottage is big enough for two adults. The bathroom is fairly small, but is enough for a short stay. The living room and the kitchen are adjacent and are nice for cooking or spending time when you are not discovering Newport and the surrounding area. The location is perfect if you are looking for a peaceful and quiet spot after a long day of discovering Rhode Island, Martha Vineyard, Block Island and many other beautiful places.

We had a relaxing stay at Christopher’s bucolic “tree house” cottage. The grounds were lovely and in close proximity to many nature walks and amenities. Our hosts couldn’t have been nicer!

John Dyer Loft by Kristin & Sakonnet Farm & Stays

MadeleineRating, 5 stars5 months ago
It was a great space. We rented the apartment for the Christmas holiday, for my daughter and her partner and Kristen was very accommodating. It is near to our home so it worked great. It was a homey place for them to spend the holiday.

Reservoir House - tranquility!

KateRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Our family of five was very comfortable here- the house is beautifully constructed, airy, bright, quiet, and served by regular breezes off the nearby reservoir. The kitchen may look tiny, but it works very well in its space, and it is stocked with pretty much everything you might need. The whole house is also well-provisioned. We also appreciated the sunny outdoor shower right off the back entrance. You won’t be disappointed in this peaceful, pretty place!

Secluded Luxury Country House & Barn, Pet Friendly

SophiaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Set off the beaten path, this was a beautiful place to stay. The rooms were spacious and open and the natural light really came in. The patio was the perfect to take in the surrounding and relax around the fire pit. The location is close enough to several of Rhode Island’s beautiful beaches and shopping destinations, and far enough away to feel like you can just relax and enjoy your time there. We would definitely stay there again!
