FredrikLars farm by Nordmarksbergs Herrgård

FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

The jacuzzi and sauna is available year-round. The swimming pool is open from May until 6th of October, perfect for cooling off during warmer months. We also provide two paddleboards. The lake is large and there is a row boat for guest usage. The cabin has one full bedroom and one spacious sleeping loft with two beds and additional storage space. It also has one bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. The living room has a fireplace and access to a porch with a fantastic view.

Welcome to our cosy guest house on the small farm "Fågeldalen" in Bäck! This exceptionally quiet cottage has been renovated with a lot of love, time and care. Due to the use of mainly local, recycled and natural materials, there are many unique details to discover. There is a private bathroom with dry toilet and warm outdoor shower and a private kitchen with everything you need. Outside there is a terrace as well as a hammock where you can relax and there are friendly lambs to pet!

Gammelgården is located 5 km north of Finspång. The cottage is newly built in the old style with moon windows, crystal chandelier and luxurious bed linens. Lake view and dock down to Bysjön, we have a small rowing boat for guests. Borrow bicycles for wonderful bike rides and borrow golf clubs, Finspång has a 27-hole course with pay and play. We (Ingrid and Bill and the cats Tussilago and Pantufa) live on the farm in an old house from the 1750s with separate entrance and parking.
