We had an amazing stay in Latgale thanks to Deniss and his wife. They were extremely kind and the cabin had everything we needed. We stayed with 2 small kids and a baby and everything worked perfectly. The kids loved the playground, feeding the rabbits, the toys and going in the boat. Deniss and his wife were very accommodating and prepared the sauna for us, which was also very lovely. We would highly recommend staying here with or without kids, especially if you are looking for some peaceful surroundings and a place to recharge.

Great location with private beach. You can use sups to swim around the lake. Very relaxing and quiet place. Host has a house close by, but during our stay nobody was there so we didn’t see a single person around. It was perfect getaway from city, people and technology. House has all you need, there is also a bbq grill outside.

A beautiful, peaceful stay. Alvis and Ilze were fantastic; friendly and very helpful without being intrusive, giving plenty of help both before and during our stay. Both the traditional meal on arrival and the black banya the following evening were excellent, well worth the cost. We would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Lovely place and peacful stay at Jānis and Elinas place. Everything was clean and tidy, we had everything we needed for comfort. We stayed at New Year's eve, so house was decorated as well, which we found pretty nice and sweet. We recommend it to everyone who wants a peaceful vacation outside the city.

We had some very relaxing days in Daivas beautiful cottage. The countryside around the house and the garden and yard are very pretty and quiet (except for the cute baby storks), and the cottage interior is perfect! Daiva was very helpful with all our problems.

Visited for the 2nd time, this time during the weekdays. We were the only ones there. Might be due to recent start of the school year, but this place needs to be known more. IMHO - One of the utmost "peace & serenity" places in the country. It has everything you might need or want to relax from the city hype. Sauna, place and equipment for a bbq, lake for swimming, SUPing, boating or anything else you might want - check, check, check and check again. Disregarding the longer trip from the capital (roughly 2.5-3h trip), I highly recommend the place for anyone who's looking for a perfect place for a nature retreat. Added "mega bonus" - PET FRIENDLY, so bring your buddies along.

We had great time at the accomodation. Perfect place to relax and calm down. It was lovely to get up and have a beautiful view of the lake and taking a little cruise with boat was fun. Be prepared that you only have one cooker and a grill. To get there use the gps coordinates, not the adress provided by AirBnB.

Linda‘s place was amazing! We had a great time. The little house is located super private and connects well to the nature. Linda is a great host. Everything was well prepared for us at arrival, the hot tub offers a add-on which is very nice and also taken care of for you. Overall I would compare the stay at this place to a 5-Star hotel experience. It is equipped with everything you could think of, even toothbrush’s in the bathroom. Linda responds super quickly and is very helpful and friendly. Only the road access might get a bit tricky on a rainy day, as it is dirt / mud road access. I can definitely recommend coming here!

Super cute spot on the river, nice dogs, homemade mead, fabulous sauna, cool paths and hangout spots in the woods- what's not to like? This is a great place to get away, I'm sure when it is warmer it will be great to swim in the pond or river and go kayaking or SUP boarding

We had a wonderful stay at this charming holiday house! The positive vibe of the place made our time there truly special. The sauna, combined with the cold plunge in the pond, was the perfect way to unwind under the starry sky. The breakfast was delicious. We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The place was cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything to make our stay enjoyable- a record player, a fully stocked kitchen, games, and TVs. The holiday decorations were a lovely touch, adding warmth and charm to the space. Our host, Jelena, was incredibly kind and welcoming. She took the time to show us around the house, even ensured the place was warm enough. We stayed with both our dog and child, and they had a fantastic time too! The garden was stunning, and the house itself is in a quiet and private area surrounded by allotments and homes, yet super convenient, with the center of Daugavpils just a 10-minute drive away. One of the highlights was the exterior lights outlining the house—which made it so easy to find the house when we returned after an evening concert. Such a thoughtful detail! The beds were VERY comfortable. Big plus on that one! We would absolutely recommend staying here and hope to come back again!

Cool place to stay in Latvia countryside. Very nice view all way around. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay for the weekend - perfect. It's an old house with an old house vibe, but all amenities are new and there is everything necessary for an extended stay.
