Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Sierra Nevada

My husband and I came to Paso for a couple of days of wine tasting and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Michelle and Tyler's house is adorable! The furnishings are comfortable, the bed was great - so great I asked for the brand of the duvet because I want to get the same. I love the quiet street the house is on and the super short easy walk to downtown's restaurants and bars. We would definitely stay again.

We just returned from an AMAZING five days at The River’s Edge in Oakhurst. Perfect location near Yosemite, restaurants in town, Bass Lake, and the Yosemite Sugar Pine Train. Tina’s home is a private magical retreat near a roaring creek (thank you melting mountain snow!) with the best King pillows in the master bedroom…we got the best sleep ever! Tina’s instructions and communication was spot on. Our kids and pups enjoyed the stay, too! We highly recommend The Forks Resort restaurant at Bass Lake for the yummiest burgers, fries, and onion rings😋 Bee’s Bakery coffee and pastries were delicious 🤤 We were craving Mexican food and decided on Plazuelas Mexican Restaurant & Taqueria 🌮near Raley’s grocery store…it didn’t disappoint! And for dessert, don’t forget to stop by Reimer’s Ice Cream & Candy shop for an old fashioned ice cream sundae🍨. Excellent Spring Break Yosemite adventure with my family. Thank you, Tina!❤️🙏🏻

Marcy & Scott are lovely hosts. Their property is truly magnificent. Every detail is thought out and worked in with countless special touches. We booked with Julia & Craig very last-minute and later in the day when weather conditions prevented us from reaching our initial rental in Truckee. They were highly-accommodating, very responsive, and in less than an hour of booking we were getting settled in at their rental. The house itself was beautiful and well-maintained, and much nicer than what we were expecting to get for a day-of booking. Check-in was seamless and their instructions were clear and comprehensive. You won’t believe this place when you see it. My kids are still saying they wish this was their house. It’s spacious, clean, quiet, and tastefully decorated. There’s a nice sized backyard and large beds. It’s hard to believe this place was available and that it’s so close to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Thanks for a great stay, Ernesto! This is by far the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in.

We visit Kernville one to two times a a year. This was my favorite place so far out of the places my family and I have stayed. We have a family of 5 (3 kids) and they absolutely had a blast, plenty of games and activities for them to do at the house including swimming. We also had some friends and family visit us and the place was great for entertaining guests. I highly recommend staying here the host is very responsive and friendly. We look forward to visiting again. Thank you!

We went to Robert’s place a couple of years ago and it felt the same as last time: it was great! Clean and has everything we need. The place is close to everything: restaurants, grocery, main roads

I had a wonderful stay at Ori’s place! The neighborhood is green and peaceful, making it a perfect spot to relax. The place itself was amazing—well-maintained and exactly as described. Ori was an incredibly responsive host, always quick to reply and accommodating. I requested an extra blanket, and he immediately honored the request, which I truly appreciated. One small area for improvement: I did notice some black-colored bugs that looked like a larger version of a spider. I wasn’t sure if this was due to the locality or something that needs attention in the place, but it might be worth looking into. Overall, a great stay with a fantastic host! Would recommend.

It’s a nice place. Looks newly renovated. Nice shoe storage, patio with furniture to sit. Pool view. Laura has stocked most of the things needed. Spices, enough dishwasher pods, laundry detergen etc.. Pots and pans looked little old. Check-in is very easy and the auto lock works really well. One assigned car parking was given. Not easy to get a parking spot on street. A nice stay overall. Felt like home..

overall good stay! love the amenities of the condo, especially the gym, very good equipments and space. the location of the condo is not close to any supermarkets or restaurants, but as we had a car, this was not an issue at all.

One of the best Airbnbs I've ever stayed in. B'ful place and so thoughtfully done. Every corner thought in great detail and attention. The gesture by the host to get us fresh cookies on arrival won our hearts. I wish we could stay longer. The airbnb itself is worth a 2-3 day stay over.

I enjoyed my time at Audrey’s place. They are centrally located and the backyard is a beautiful place to work or unwind. Audrey, Jordie, and the pups were very friendly and hospitable. I would highly recommend their place for any guest visiting Oakland.

This is the best Airbnb I have ever seen. I booked this for my friends that were visiting the Bay Area for the first time. They loved staying at Renzo's 'Gem #1' home! I will not ruin all of the surprises that come with staying at this property. Such a great stay and host!

This property was an amazing space for my friends and I to enjoy the lake! I think it's the best spot in the entire area to relax and enjoy all that the lake has to offer. Deborah was extremely helpful and kind! We will definitely be coming back here soon.

What a unique hidden gem out in Springville! We loved the backyard setting, river stream, and ranch scenery views around town. Thank you for hosting us, we enjoyed our stay at your beautiful cabin.

What an absolutely charming place!! Tucked up into the mountain between Belden & Quincy, this place is BEAUTIFUL & feels so secluded and peaceful, but is only 15 minutes from the adorable town of Quincy. Feather River is gorgeous and I pulled over 100 times to soak in the view/many waterfalls. For how remote this place is, the cabin was CLEAN! We have stayed in lots of small little remote cabins over the years and they always have spiders you just can’t seem to avoid up in the mountains. But this place was clearly very well taken care of and did not have any insect friends wandering inside that we saw. The toilet in our original cabin that we booked had an issue, but they were super quick to help us and move us over to another cabin. I was very impressed with their quick response and how friendly they were! The lower half of the site has an incredible “beach” area, this time of year it was a perfect spot to sit and read and watch the rapids! I definitely hope to visit again soon!

Our family of four had a great two days at the cabin. The cabin was very tastefully furnished and felt like home. It was cozy and all the amenities one could expect including a family room with games and books. The house was squeaky clean and the fireplace was a great touch. The surroundings were quiet and very private. We skied at Dodge Ridge which was 20 min away. Overall a memorable weekend for our family and we plan to visit again this summer.

Barbora & Curtis were great hosts. Always responsive and answered the many questions I had. The location is convenient and very close to groceries. Garage was deep and roomy, there was a sled and plenty of shovels, boot warmers, and a ping pong table! Inside the house looked even better in person. There is a fireplace and central heating/cooling. Wasn’t a huge fan of the slippery couches but it still did the job. Everything was pretty clean for the most part, plus extra sheets and towels. Kitchen was stocked with supplies and seasonings for cooking. We went mid March when there were tons of snow on the ground to play with in the backyard. Keep in mind there are no fences and the space is shared with other houses, but we were the only ones out in the back so it felt pretty private. There is a slight hill and were able to create a sled run! We ran into a bobcat while taking the dog out at night, and we also heard coyotes howling nearby. Overall, cozy place and I’d recommend to anyone.

Our family had an amazing time at this cozy cabin in Arnold, CA! The space was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The highlight for us was the game room—our kids couldn’t get enough of the air hockey and pool table, which kept everyone entertained. The location was perfect—near Calaveras Big Trees, 20 min to Bear Valley, also offering a peaceful and scenic escape with use of a private lake for a great summer spot to stay. sharon was responsive and thoughtful, making sure we had everything we needed. If you're looking for a family-friendly retreat with plenty of fun and relaxation, this is the perfect spot. We can’t wait to come back!

Perfect Cabin Stay Near Sequoia! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an amazing stay at the Romantic River Oak Cabin! The location couldn’t be better—just a few minutes from the entrance to Sequoia National Park, making it super convenient for exploring. The cabin itself was adorable, cozy, and well-stocked with everything we needed. One of our favorite touches was the binder full of trail recommendations and local activities—it made planning our days so much easier! We also loved the outdoor propane fireplace, perfect for relaxing in the evening. Another great perk is that Totem Market is right across the street, and they have amazing food! We grabbed breakfast there most mornings, and it was the perfect way to start our adventures. If you’re looking for a charming, comfortable stay near Sequoia, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful place. It felt like a cozy cabin in the woods, with exceptional cleanliness and charming decorations inside and out. After hiking Yosemite, we loved coming back to relax by the beautiful chimney. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Yosemite or looking for a peaceful getaway.

We had a great time at this gorgeous cabin! It was very peaceful and our dogs loved running around to play and explore. The whole property is fenced in, but my dogs are pretty agile and would be able to get out if they wanted to. They got to be off leash while we were actively playing, but we put them on long leads attached to the posts on the back deck while we were in the hot tub or grilling dinner. The cabin was really well stocked with anything you could possibly need. There was some firewood in the back yard, but it was pretty wet, so we ended up buying some from the grocery store in Valley Springs, which was only a 10 minute drive away. Beautiful cabin and very peaceful if you like the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere and still only a few minutes drive away from stores and restaurants.
