Our 1919 charming home, surrounded by 50 acres of preserved land, is in an historic district and a stone's throw from the NCR hike/bike trail. We have tubes to float down the Gunpowder River which winds around our property and is accessible by foot. The bike path is lovely! Inverness Brewery is located 5 minutes away, Starbright farm is a glorious lavender farm 15 minutes north, Boordy Vineyards, a family run winery, is 20 minutes east, and Ladew Toipiary Gardens is another gem to behold!

This 2nd floor, 2-bedroom apartment is for the weary traveler looking for a home away from home. Whether you are just passing through, on vacation, or working in the area and need a place to stay, you can expect all the comforts of home. We are located on a main road so please realize that you may be able to hear traffic passing by. A white noise machine is available. We also provide a fully equipped kitchen, a dedicated office, full bathroom and an amazing mahogany balcony.

Newly restored from the ground up, The Oakland is tucked away down a long private driveway with 10 quiet acres with not a neighbor to be seen! A two-story porch will allow you to relax, unwind and listen to the sounds of nature. A perfect getaway for family and friends with three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, a cozy family room area with a game table and an English country style kitchen. A separate spring house contains a private hot tub for three.
