From the second half of August to September, the summer bustle calms down, and it is a season when you can enjoy the quiet of Shinshu. During the day, go to the mountains and highlands, and at night, enjoy the tranquility of the countryside. This is a rental cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and the starry sky. As a base for sightseeing in Azumino, Hakuba, and Kamikochi, you can enjoy a comfortable stay for one night or for extended periods. Access to Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama-Kurobe is also good, and it can accommodate group trips, family trips, and long-term stays. With a washing machine and a bathroom dryer, it's also comfortable for extended stays. You can come by public transportation, but having a car is more convenient. Free pick-up and drop-off are available from Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station. Other pick-up and drop-off services and sightseeing pick-up and drop-off services are available for 2,000-8,000 yen (round trip) depending on the distance, within 2 hours one way. For groups of 5 or more, please consult in advance because we can arrange a rental car. There are still openings on weekdays in September. 　Guest House Rin is located at the edge of a rice field at the foot of Mt. Kurohime in northern Nagano Prefecture. The farmhouse warehouse has been renovated, so it is spacious enough to relax in the living room with an atrium and the bedroom in the loft. Please have a quiet time under the thick beams that have withstood the wind and snow for a long time. Large dogs can also stay with you. 　Shinano is a town blessed with mountains and lakes. There are also paddle boarding and canoeing on Lake Nojiri, cycling along the lake, and forests where you can enjoy forest therapy. In winter, you can access the Ginjo Gondola, the Kurohime Slope, and nearby ski resorts. Kurohime's slopes have a dog run in both summer and winter, and in winter there is also a lift that you can ride with your pets. 　If you have time, we also recommend taking a walk along the rice paddies that extend to the distant ridge line. 　It is about 10 minutes from Shinanomachi Interchange and about 20 minutes from Shinshu Nakano Interchange. There are many attractive tourist spots in the surrounding area such as Joetsu, Shiga Kogen, and Togakushi. 　The kitchen is also equipped with cooking utensils, so I think you will enjoy cooking. 　 　There are 2 beds in the loft and 3 futon sets in the back room. 　Please note that the area is rural, so there may be times when you can hear farming work.

Hiking in the mountains and strolling around Lake Suwa are also recommended ways to spend your time. It's also great to explore the Suwa area on a rental bicycle.
