Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Shiding District

Anne’s hospitality is amazing! She went above and beyond to ensure we arrived at the correct location and had all information and a detailed orientation of the building. The pool and hot spring is awesome but it is located about a 5-7 min walk beyond the community near IKEA which was unexpected but we got used to it. Location is convenient to MRT, UBike, Restaurants etc. Security guards are friendly. Space and community are both clean and quiet. Overall great but large community. The space is as described. The beds and blankets are comfy and the decor is chic. The building is earthquake proof because we experienced one while there: ). Anne was nice to check in and comfort us. I highly recommend her space.

Prior to check in, Rex provided enough time for me to run through the check in instruction and clarify any potential questions. He also allowed me to move around luggage free by allowing me to drop off my luggage before check-in hours. During the stay, Rex constantly check in to make sure that the stay was comfortable. Although the building may look a little run down, but Rex’s unit was very well kept and modern. I will definitely considered returning if I visit Taipei again.

Loro's place was exactly as advertised. Nice and clean, great shower and convenient location. We walked 3 minutes to the Taipei Bridge station and used Taipei's really great subway system to get everywhere. Loro was responsive to our questions and the check in instructions were easy to follow. I'd recommend Loro's place to anyone wanting to visit Taipei.

Great place for holidays

Black's place is located very near to the MRT and is very accessible. Room is big and bed are comfortable. At night is also quiet and peaceful. A big wardrobe is a plus for us family of 4. We are very familiar with Ximending as we always travel to Taipei and stay around here so surrounding is no issue for us. Owner might need to change some of the furniture as its getting old and the hot water in the bathroom is very hot. Not easy to adjust to the right temperature. Overall its a good stay and worth the value.

The house and facilities are new and fully equipped, and the bed and sofa are very comfortable.The owner is welcoming and generously sharing all the appliances.The Ximending business district, cinemas, restaurants, and various snacks are within walking distance, making it a great place to stay while being quiet and enjoying the streets!

Clean and very convenient to anywhere in Taipei. 1 min walking to MRT station . Yoco & Catherine are very helpful, always eager to answer questions, help & easy to talk. Jason and Kelly are enthusiastic hosts. They enjoy meeting people and helping them to enjoy Taipei. The apartment is spacious for the price and comes with an outdoor deck, where you can eat, read, and exercise. We didn’t mind the six flights of stairs. The bedroom is quiet. Hot water, wi-fi and heater all work well. Neighborhood is safe, full of dining options, but not the most exciting in terms of shops. A bit away from the center but easy to get in on the Metro. The main drawback of the apartment is that it has no kitchen, but that is fully disclosed in the listing and may not be an issue for you.

Cozy homestay and meet friendly owner

This is an accommodation where 8 people stayed while traveling with friends. I was impressed by the unique interior. It's well organized, and the cattle appliances are well-stocked. The location was close to the subway station, so it was easy to get around, and it was nice that the surroundings were quiet. I had a good time and rested comfortably. It's also unfortunate that finishes such as exposed concrete walls, ceilings, and wood walls make it feel more like a filming studio than a home where people live. The kitchen wall is also exposed concrete, so something like stone powder drops. It wasn't a good environment to prepare a meal. The bathroom wall is also painted on the wood, but there is mold. I don't understand that the walls of a very humid space in Taiwan that use water is not tile. The unique interior layout is only beautiful in drawings and photos. In many ways, the architecture itself leaves a lot of regret. The host's service was very good, and the communication was good, so that was very good. If you're looking for a casual place to stay, I recommend it but it's a well-built, not a great place to live. Thank you though! We hope this feedback will make your stay even better.

Superb Location, Perfect for Solo Travelers or CouplesI booked this Airbnb for my mom, who’s in her late 70s, and she had an excellent stay! The standout feature is its phenomenal location—just minutes from mass transit and great restaurants, making it a breeze to explore. It’s ideal for a single traveler or couple, though the space is small, so keep that in mind if you need more room. Cleanliness and comfort were pleasant, and the host was amazingly responsive and accommodating with small requests. One day, the toilet flush malfunctioned, but the host immediately responded and resolved it the same day while my mom was out—top-notch service! The value for money felt spot-on, and there’s even a laundry facility in the building, which was a nice bonus. My mom loved the place, had no trouble getting around, and has already recommended it to her friends, who’ll be booking soon. It’s a gem if you prioritize location and don’t mind a cozy setup—highly recommend!

Huiwen is a super nice host communicated with us a lot and helped us with a lot of things. The place was spotless and SUPEr cozy. I wish i lived there! The place also smells super nice which make the stay very enjoyable.

Happy is an excellent host, proactive and friendly communication. The flat has a gorgeous balcony and is well equipped. I had a very comfortable one month stay working remotely.
