Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Shelter Island Heights

I and my son feel very happy and comfortable living there, although the elevator doesn't work, it seems always under fixing. After all, the location is so convenient to everywhere, for example, SOM, Peabody Museum, and Hillhouse Ave. Almost all Yale shuttle lines stopped there. It is a happy time to eat while watching TV news in the living room. The scenery from top of the building is beautiful. We saw the sunrise and snowy town. That is amazing! The neighbors are very friendly. Guest in No. 34 helped us on carrying the luggages. He has a dog with three legs. What a nice and kind young man! In the basement, there is a gym and guests-room with sofas. G cafe closes after 5pm. My friends and I had a talk there which is nice. The Nica's is nearby as well which is very convenient. With Grocery line, we shop at Trade Joe's on weekend to save money. There is a big refrigerator to save food for one week. The door has an electronic lock which is very smart and easy to use. Good to stay!

Great listing, great host. Street below is pretty loud at night even with the windows closed.

Place was good, all was well, close to anything you’d need. The only issue was that I was sent checkout instructions at 11:15 when checkout was at 11:00.

Alicia was amazing to work with and extremely responsive! Weather caused changes to my travel plans which created plenty of other stress and she was fantastic to work with to sort out! Very clear and detailed instructions. No questions throughout my stay. She checked in to make sure everything was going well. Primary reason for booking was the proximity to Yale campus. It was perfect, 3 blocks away. Quiet building with helpful residents when asked questions. It is an older building. The unit has some great updates in the kitchen and bath that fit the space and make it more functional and inviting. Will definitely stay again!

This is our second stay at this location. The place is clean and comfortable, and in a great East Rock location. Look forward to another stay.

Shelley’s place is absolutely perfect! The apartment was exceptionally clean, with a nice layout, a large kitchen, and comfortable mattresses and furniture. The place is an excellent bargain and far more comfortable than your average AirBnB these days. Shelley is also delightful and very responsive. Cannot recommend it enough!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. Alexis was a wonderful host who was very welcoming and also very helpful in making recommendations. And her home is in a great location within walking distance of Main Street in Mystic. We would definitely stay there again if we ever come back to the area.

If we don't give a good review, can we keep this to ourselves?! Patti was a perfect host; the views were fantastic, whether from the outdoor porch or inside through the French doors looking out on the water. Access to the small beach and pool were excellent and we were close to several good restaurants (many of which Patti suggested, including some on the water) for take-out during the pandemic. Wifi was great and everything was very clean and as advertised. We generally fly for vacations and long weekends but had to stay closer to home this year and this was a perfect choice.

Ildiko was very friendly and proactive. Her place was very clean and in a great location just a few minutes away from downtown Southhampton. She had plenty of linens and towels. The best part were the toys she had which my kids couldn't get enough of! Thank you Ildiko!

This location could not have been more perfect! Driftwood is a prime oceanfront property with all the amenities you need to make your stay fabulous! Special shout outs to Jay who runs the office like a pro, and Santiago who maintains this property with incredible attention to detail. We cannot wait to return! Already looking at dates!!

This is a beautiful place to stay! Very clean and pleasantly decorated! Our family felt completely at home. We had everything we needed for our three-day stay. The kitchen was well-stocked, there were plenty of amenities and even a great selection of games that our family enjoyed playing. We were close to a couple of beautiful beaches and a wonderful cozy local coffee shop. Miguel and Kaitlyn are great hosts! Very responsive, helpful and friendly! We would highly recommend their place and would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing Thanksgiving at Elena’s place. The house is exactly as described and so pristine! Incredible location, access to all of the fun and cultural activities that the Hamptons has to offer plus some of the most beautiful nature in the Hamptons. Elena is just a perfect host! We loved our stay at Deborah and David's home. The house was perfect for our family, so clean and well equipped. It is even better than on the photos. And what an amazing backyard for the kids!

This is the best stay that I have had since using Air bnb!! The house was clean and felt just like being at home. The decor and the furniture was AMAZING!! My entire family enjoyed our stay. We were able to go for a nice walk and the house is located in the perfect area. It was peaceful and a short walk to restaurants. We will most certainly stay at this location again on our next visit!

The neighborhood was beautiful. We walked out to an island that was only accessible at low tide. Great shared spaces with fun rooms and lovely bedrooms.

David's place is great! Super comfortable and can quickly get to Sag Harbor! Would def stay there again!
