Bellport Village Temperance Hall: The Ho-Hum Suite

I booked the Ho-Hum suite for getting bridal prep for my wedding. Allison was very responsive to s of my emails, allowing everyone to arrive at 4am for getting ready, and letting us use the grounds for our first look. When we arrived she gave us a choice between the Ho-Hum Suite and the Old Inlet Suite. We kept to the Ho-Hum Suite but appreciated the option. The room was spotless and had extra TP, towels, etc. The sun room also had plenty of coffee and snacks. Outside, the grounds are well kept and made the perfect backdrop for my getting ready photos and first look. Allison made a point to see us before we left too. She is the perfect host. Everyone in my group was so impressed. Don’t even think twice about booking your stay here!

We had an amazing stay! The room was clean and they were flexible with check-in and also allowed us to park and use the amenities prior to check-in which allowed up to maximize our stay and time spent there! Walkable to all restaurants and shops and right by the beach! Would definitely stay again!

Incredible stay witth my fiancé for his birthday weekend. Proximity to beach and wineries is fabulous. Beach house itself is elegant, cozy, fun, and perfect for a getaway. Hosts were kind and relaxed. Cannot wait to bring our friends and family back here soon!

What a unique and lovely experience.. absolutely gorgeous and romantic room… spacious, high ceilings and WHAT A BATHROOM!! Beautiful walk in shower with plenty of room. Separate bathtub. Common area and shop are a must see. Check it out!

Our stay here was great! Everything looked like the photos and we were happy that Joanne and Allison let us bring our bridal party in for hair/makeup before our wedding! The description regarding the size of the space was very clear but I couldn't visualize it correctly. I had myself, 6 bridesmaids, my mom, 2 makeup artists, and 2 hair stylists in the room to get ready. 12 people in this room was very cozy, but we were so happy we made it work since the larger upstairs room was unavailable. Additionally, the shared sun room is gorgeous and we were able to chill in there if/when our room got too crowded. Thanks for a great stay!! :)

I stayed at Candysue's place for 1 month, visiting StonyBrook University during my PhD. The area is very quiet. The room was clean and the bathroom as well. Towels and bedsheets were clean. In the room there is a fridge and a microwave, other cooking facilities are given if needed. Candysue was very kind, and her dogs lovely. I enjoyed my stay!

I knew American beech had a great reputation and that’s why I chose it. And I was not disappointed. They were really helpful with my gluten free needs, I had a free upgrade to a lovely room in a small building off a piazza. I loved every minute of my stay. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our stay at American Beech Hotel. The rooms are adorable, super clean and comfortable, and there were many special touches along the way. From the moment I booked, I was in touch with the front desk staff to see if they could hold some items for me that I needed to have delivered for an event my company was hosting at Claudio's Waterfront nearby. The staff were incredibly responsive, friendly, and useful to me in finding local print shops and holding all of our items until we arrived. Upon arrival, Amanda at the front desk was wonderful! She gave us a tour of the property (so many options for dining!) and walked us to our room. Other stand-outs: the shower was awesome (best water pressure ever) and the beds were uber comfortable. The picnic basked delivered promptly at 9am each morning was such a treat! The decor was darling and the location was TOO PERFECT. I highly recommend this hotel when visiting Greenport. Superb and a fun hang-out to boot!

Beautiful micro-hotel in beachy town. We stayed in the winter and may have been the only guests, would love to come back in season and enjoy the amenities (bar, restaurant, lounges and outdoor spaces). The concierge was lovely and communicative. The breakfast delivery was perfect and the room was clean and modern. Loved the shop & the toiletries provided.
