Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Shelby County

This was a great place for five of us enjoying the bourbon trail. It is within 30 minutes of Buffalo Trace and Louisville, and an hour from Bardstown. Really enjoyed the back porch. Cooked dinner 3 nights and it felt at home. There is plenty of cooking pots/pans/utensils. Mark is a great host and was responsive.

This a beautiful place! There's horses, trails, the sunset is absolutely amazing and all the stars. Cindy was very nice and responsive. Plus everything is within 10 minutes if you need to buy anything. This is a great getaway!

This is a jaw dropping, breath taking, absolutely stunning property!!! Pristine clean, beautiful surroundings, incredibly spacious, lacking nothing! I was deeply moved by Madge’s kindness and generosity when she offered to give us a ride in her four wheel drive vehicle due to inclement weather. She was intentional in communicating with me and making sure everything went smoothly. I don’t have the words to express how comfortable, enjoyable, and pleasant our stay was! What a lovely experience!!! Thank you so much Madge!!!

Gorgeous country estate with lots to do inside and out. Tons of space for large groups as well as entertaining. loved the design and furnishings as well as the beautiful surroundings. The house was very well appointed with cooking utensils and everything one would need

This place was a little bit of heaven and it was extremely clean and just as discribed in the listing. And the backyard was amazing. It is perfect for couples or families with plenty of room. My husband and I really had a peaceful stay and we really got to relax after having very busy lives. Spent the weekend for a bachelor party, this property was amazing!! Super private, plenty of space and great amenities. Our host had such great recommendations for distilleries, places to eat, and golf. Just an amazing stay and an amazing home. If you are looking for a place to stay along the bourbon trail, do yourself a favor and book this one!!

Everything was clean and we had an amazing time in the pool. We loved this place so much we will be visiting again.

After we had difficulty with the first place we reserved, John willingly accepted our same day request to stay at his home. He was immediately responsive with our request and with all other questions we had upon arriving. The home is gorgeous, clean and well equipped. John even opened and heated the inground swimming pool early for us to enjoy. We will request to stay again next time we are visiting the area which is often.

5 stars isn’t enough! Staying here was an absolute dream! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by how clean, stylish, and well-stocked the apartment was. It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay—and then some! The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of downtown Louisville, with easy access to amazing restaurants, live music, and local attractions. But what really sets this place apart are the incredible amenities. The rooftop lounge with skyline views was the perfect place to unwind after a long day. The fitness center was fully equipped, clean, and spacious—way better than your average hotel gym. And having secure parking made everything hassle-free. The hosts were responsive, friendly, and clearly put a lot of thought into creating a welcoming, luxury experience. Whether you’re in town for work, play, or a little of both, you won’t find a better place to stay. I’ll absolutely be booking here again next time I’m in Louisville!

Great place to stay in Frankfort! Walkable to great restaurants, bars, coffee shops, bakery, etc. Will definitely stay here again when I visit Frankfort.

We had a great stay at Bruce's place. Very bright and inviting. The 10 foot windows reminded me of a castle in Ireland I stayed in. Bruce clearly cares about comfort and satisfaction of his guests, very thoughtful. Private parking was super convenient 👌

This place was great! Clean, nice, and quiet! We really enjoyed the pizza place two doors down that stayed open till 5am too! Beautiful part of town and would highly recommend!

Great location and great host. Zion was very responsive and helpful with inquiries. We’d definitely stay again. It was close to the expo center which was great for a weekend of volleyball there. Neighborhood was nice with a lot of restaurants close enough to walk to. Highly recommend.

Jeffersonville, IN, is a lovely place to stay if you want to enjoy the city of Louisville but still have a small-town walking experience. The house is beautiful, the amenities are great, and the garage for the car is a great bonus. There was a minor snafu getting into the house when the code didn't initially work, but Eric quickly reached out to us via the doorbell, and we all resolved the issue without too much trouble. We would definitely return!

We booked Sadie and Tyler’s home for a family reunion. We loved the grounds and the proximity to Keeneland. Having access to a back entrance saved time and frustration. Their home is beautiful with tasteful decor and many amenities. We felt at home immediately.

Perfect little home away from home in the heart of Louisville. Nettie’s place has everything you need along with convenience of being able to get to anywhere you’d want to go while in town. Annette is the sweetest host who goes above and beyond to communicate and ensure you feel taken care of. The kids had room to play, and we loved enjoying quiet mornings on the porch with coffee and birdsong. It was a truly relaxing and refreshing escape, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.
