Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Shelby County

We wanted a quick, midweek, night away for our 20th Anniversary. We’d had a particularly overwhelming a stressful, busy couple of weeks with other family commitments and a death near the family. We booked the day before our stay- very last minute! Becky & Heather were fantastic hosts. The house was ready, the hot tub looked brand new it was so clean, the backyard is an oasis of relaxation, and everything was just perfect. We were able to relax and enjoy! We ordered take out from the nearby Crestwood Bistro- delicious!! Just wish we’d had more time. We’ll definitely recommend Becky & Heather’s place to friends and family.

Had a excellent time at this location. The house was beautiful with great amenities including an amazing bar! Great location for visiting distilleries or Churchill Downs.

This place was a little bit of heaven and it was extremely clean and just as discribed in the listing. And the backyard was amazing. It is perfect for couples or families with plenty of room. My husband and I really had a peaceful stay and we really got to relax after having very busy lives. Great outdoor space and great entertainment in the basement!

The first Airbnb to exceed my expectations. Very clean. The pictures are the first on Airbnb that don’t make the place look bigger, I was very surprised when I arrived, there is much more common space than I thought. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms are beautiful and have been done well. This was a very comfortable place to stay. Would highly recommend

We had a fantastic stay! The house was absolutely perfect, clean, comfortable, spacious, and beautifully maintained. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped with everything you could possibly need, which made cooking and mealtime so easy and enjoyable. The hot tub was a huge bonus, perfect for unwinding at the end of the day. And the house was great for kids too, with plenty of space and activities to keep them entertained both indoors and outdoors, which made the whole experience relaxing and fun for the whole family. We truly felt at home and would absolutely love to stay here again. Highly recommended!

Toni's place was the perfect house for our group outing on the Bourbon Trail. The house is surrounded by miles of beautiful Kentucky countryside and estates, and it has easy access to the cities and all the stops on the Bourbon Trail. The house is new and clean and has all the amenities you need to enjoy your time relaxing and planning your next adventure. I would highly recommend this house for anyone who's looking for a central location to enjoy all that Bourbon Country has to offer.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Bagdad Bootlegger! The house was spotless, incredibly comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything needed for a relaxing and enjoyable visit. From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. Matt & Carrie were outstanding hosts—friendly, responsive, and super helpful. They answered any questions I had promptly and even went above and beyond by offering multiple great recommendations for when questions arised. It’s clear they truly care about their guests’ experience, and it shows in every detail of the home. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again—highly recommended!

this villa was an outstanding value. aweaome location on the bourbon trail. was perfect weekend for my girlfriend and i to unwind and relax while enjoying distillery tours and shopping. the hot tub was wonderful at the end of the day. we will definitely be back. thank you john.

Loved our stay. The Hot tub on the back porch was the perfect touch after our long evenings on the road. Location to tour multiple distilleries and visit the zoo. Incredible trip and fantastic place to stay.

Great place! So clean and accessible

We recently stayed at this cozy private retreat, and it was the perfect family getaway. Tucked away from the chaos of everyday life, it offered the peace and privacy we didn’t even realize we needed. The space was clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed to feel at home. From movie nights in the comfy living room to making meals together in the fully equipped kitchen, every moment felt special. The kids had room to play, and we loved enjoying quiet mornings on the porch with coffee and birdsong. It was a truly relaxing and refreshing escape, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

I’m obsessed with this place and didn’t want to leave! What a magical little space - katie and Michael thought of everything in the design, were responsive and helpful! We loved staying here and it was the perfect location for our family Easter! I truly can’t say enough great things about this cabin and the owners! It was very clean and well appointed with anything you need and the owners were very accommodating and kind! They helped with a couple requests, including a pack and play and high chair. We were able to cook a large Easter dinner with the stocked kitchen appliances and cookware. The property is very serene with plenty of privacy and great options for hiking around. The location is also not too far to get to the grocery store and restaurants. Lastly, the pool table and hot tub were a hit! We highly recommend to stay here and know we will definitely be back for another stay!

This place was fantastic for our small group’s trip to Louisville! It’s one of those places that is apart of the trip, somewhere you look forward to being back at, and not just a place to crash at the end of the day. There’s so much to do here, big props to Rachel and her co-hosts for creating such a great place to stay, would definitely stay here again!

We found Carolyn’s place to be peaceful. The view of the lake is beautiful from the back porch. The house is clean. We were communicated with very well. She even checked to make sure we arrived okay and asked if we needed anything. She gave great instructions on finding the house. We would recommend this home to others if they are looking for a peaceful stay. The house is not far from some great distilleries as that is one of the reasons we came to visit. The surrounding areas are incredibly beautiful. Grocery stores are not far as well. We would visit again.

We had the best long weekend at Ram’s Run Cabin! Christa and Jay are lovely to work with and super responsive to any needs. The cabin itself feels like home and is so clean. Most importantly- our kiddos were non-stop with all the kid activities! Our favorite was the family pickle ball tournament in the barn. Nearby to Jim Beam and Bernheim Forest, both we highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back!

My 3 friends and I stayed in this property for 3 nights when on a golf trip to Indiana north of Louisville. The property was immaculate, very clean and well appointed. There was plenty of dish ware, silverware and cooking utensils. Bedrooms were also in great condition and very clean. There were more than enough available activities (games, DVD’s, ping pong, etc.) to keep a family entertained for several weeks. An amazing deck with a gas fire pit and a hot tub overlooking a wooded area with a stream was very peaceful and relaxing. There were detailed instructions for using all the available amenities, including the TV and cable (which we didn’t find until the day we left which was our bad). There were even golf tees sitting out with a note to enjoy our golf trip. I could not imagine a better place to stay or a more welcoming host. THANK YOU

We stayed here for a bachelor party and had a great time! The house slept 10 of us comfortably. Enjoyed using the fire pit, grilling in at the house, and playing shuffle board in the basement. This Airbnb is close to Heritage Hills golf course, which is a nice public golf course in Louisville area. Also very close to Jim Bean, which has a great distillery tour on a beautiful property.

We just got back from our stay at Susan’s cabin this weekend and oh. My. GOODNESS! The location is absolutely breathtaking, beautiful and spacious cabin (two king beds being a major plus), family/kid friendly with games and baby gear like a high chair and a baby gate which came in handy for our 11 month old! We spent so much time outdoors and thoroughly enjoyed fishing in the pond out front! I cannot recommend this place enough. They are quick to respond to any messages and all of the instructions for everything are super clear. Susan and her husband were so kind and accommodating, they even gave us a ton of fresh eggs from their chickens which was incredible! Seriously, if you’re considering booking this stay, DO IT!
