Welcome to our little slice of heaven in my favorite area of the Allegheny National Forest (ANF). If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in the forest, Hearts Content is your spot! Outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds are welcome! Whether it be hiking, orienteering, mountain biking, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, or cross country skiing, you can do it all from this location! During the winter, you will need AWD or 4WD as the cabin is located on a private lane not maintained by the township.

Riverbend Cabin~ Allegheny Island Wilderness Area

Located at the end of a quiet lane, with a stunning view of the Allegheny River, our riverfront cabin is the perfect getaway to relax with family and friends. Nestled right between Tidioute and Warren, our cabin is close to many sites within the National Forest: Buckaloons, Heart's Content, Rocky Gap, etc. There's also a great view of Crull's Island, a 96 acre paradise within the Allegheny Wilderness Area. Be on the lookout for heron, osprey, waterfowl, deer, and the amazing bald eagle!

Kick back and relax in our peaceful, cozy space. We have a wooded area that surrounds the back and side of the house. Come and enjoy a warm fire up in the woods under the beautiful Hemlock trees, as well as the bubbling, steamy hot tub tucked under our pergola behind the house. Welcome to our Creekside Cottage! I have called this place home for most of my life, playing in the back yard, waving at the steady stream of kayakers or going creeking and exploring the islands. Nowadays, I still adventure out with my kids but you'll also find me kicking back and enjoying the sights from the big picture window or out on the back deck watching the sunset.
