Private suite vacation rentals in Shasta County

Katie’s property is a slice of heaven on earth. This is the third time my family has stayed in one of Katie’s cottages and we would never dream of staying anywhere else when we go to Lewiston. The cottages are immaculate and the grounds are beautiful. My 7 year old is obsessed with the zip line, the cats, and all the magical things on the property. The last time I stayed at Katie’s place, I had a family emergency and Katie went way above and beyond to offer support during a difficult time. Katie is a rare gem — she’s one of the kindest most generous people you’ll ever meet. By far our favorite Airbnb!

When I arrived, Mary came out to help me carry my canoe into the back and help me get oriented to the house and neighborhood. She was very friendly and helpful. The room was really pleasant, with a place to set up a laptop and work and a very clean bathroom (also a truly immense TV, which I didn't use). There's a delightful little area outside the back bedroom and still within the fenced property where I stored my canoe and set up a camp chair under one of the big shade trees of the neighborhood. You can take a very pleasant walk down to the river straight out of the backyard. The combination of super-friendly host, clean rooms, and great outdoor space make this a winning option in my opinion.

Our stay at Favor’s rented area was nothing short of magical. We came for a weekend getaway, and the peacefulness of the surroundings was just what we needed. Favor was incredibly welcoming, providing clear directions and checking in to ensure we were settled. The place is charming and great, with a swimming pool in the backyard. It was clean and well-maintained, with a fully equipped kitchen and cozy bedrooms. We loved spending our evenings on the porch, enjoying the stunning mountain views. The location is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, with hiking trails just a short drive away. We spent our days exploring the beautiful nature around us and found the home the perfect retreat to return to each evening. Our experience was delightful, and we highly recommend their stay to anyone looking for a tranquil escape in the mountains. We hope to visit again soon!

Sean and Linda were very nice and responsive to my questions and needs (as when they replaced the WIFI extender when the old one proved unreliable). I had a pleasant stay in their clean detached studio with its comfortable bed. Its excellent central location made for quick access to other parts of town and the surrounding area. When I walked in the neighborhood, the people were friendly. It was quiet the majority of the time. The exceptions were when some nearby construction occasionally involved heavy equipment and when the train would blow its whistle as it went through town (it lasted for up to a minute and was really only noticeable in the evening or early morning). I didn’t notice any noise from the train itself. The designated off-street parking spot was narrow which would be difficult to use if you have large vehicle (I was okay with my Subaru Crosstrek).

Very nice accommodations in a safe upper scale neighborhood. Beautiful backyard setting with a spectacular view overlooking Redding. Very comfortable king-size bed. Highly recommend this location for your next visit to Redding.

Loved our stop in Redding at Matt and Karina's home! The location is tucked in a suburban neighborhood in Redding that is accessible to many of the downtown and local attractions while also very safe and peaceful. We loved the easy access to the river trail for walks. The location also worked well for our medium-sized dog. The room was spacious and comfortable for our one-night stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Beautiful mountains views and it was so nice to have comfy outdoor furniture to enjoy being outside . So peaceful!!! The suite itself had all we needed, very clean and fully equipped. Even though the owners are in the main home, we had all the privacy we needed. Separate entrance, always had a parking spot. We actually never met them, yet they were very good at communicating with us what to do when we arrive and when we left. Would definitely stay here again♥️

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was so clean, private, and hospitable. Natalie and Scott were wonderful hosts. They always responded in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this beautiful cozy cottage. We have stayed at several Airbnb’s and this has been the nicest one by far! I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

It was bigger than what the pictures looked like. It’s honestly had everything. Most airbnbs don’t. Had a kitchen, bathroom, dining table, couch, and a tv. Felt like home! Neighbors dog was barking but we really didn’t mind because it had everything.

This was such a beautiful space! This was a girls road trip with our dog tagging along, and the space accommodated all of us. The shower was amazing and the bed was the most comfortable Airbnb bed I’ve had thus far. The location was easily accessible and nestled in a quiet neighborhood that was also close to restaurants, the freeway, and pretty much anything else that you needed in Redding. We couldn’t have asked for more!

This space was perfect. The space itself was cozy and comfortable, and the surroundings were beautiful. It worked out perfectly for my husband to do some remote work, and then close to walking trails and town (shopping). I highly recommend, and will definitely use it again next time we are in the area.

Place was amazing as advertised!! Such a beautiful area and so quite and relaxing definitely want to check out ivans lookout next time.

The place is great for 2 people to stay for a weekend. We can come and go as we please. It was close to the freeway and close to the Sundial Bridge. The hosts didn’t bother us and it was clean and everything was in working order.

Nice, clean place. Comfy bed. Easy access to I-5. 5-minute drive to Sacramento River walking trail.

Stayed for the night! It was a great experience 🥰 all her bathroom goodies were awesome!! If you forget anything she gots it covered was pretty cool. I would stay again.

Trey's place is cozy with some really beautiful art. Very well thought out amenities and super quiet and peaceful.

Literally nicer than some 4 star hotels I've stay in. Beautiful location away from noise and neighbors. All the amenities you'd expect from a hotel suite. The host were personable and helpful.
