While located in a country setting, you are still close to Downtown Savanna, Mississippi River, & Palisades State Park. This is a perfect retreat for a blend of tranquility and rustic charm.

The excitement of camping with all the comforts! Outdoor grilling area with picnic table, queen size bed in the loft, 2 recliners & TV/dvd, AC/heat, sink, microwave & mini fridge. Well kept private port-a-john outside cabin & outdoor shower is close by at north end of store (no toilet inside cabin) Bring bikes to ride the “Great River Trail”. Camp store & kayak/canoe rentals (through Oct 1st) on site! No pets No smoking please.

Downtown Freeport, walking distance to movies, bars, restaurants. Some of the summer activities include concert on the square once a month, market every Saturday. The largest car show with 1000 old cars, the air show. If you like to walk or ride a bike there’s Jane Adam’s trail. Krape park is beautiful with many trails on the river where you can rent kayaks. The kitchen is apartment sized but boasts a counter top induction cook top, oven, microwave, Keurig,and refrigerator.
