Relax in this cozy retreat on a private road. Snuggle up by the fire, play some records, relax on the sunny deck, or jump in the hot tub. Cook dinner in the fully stocked kitchen or grill on the deck and enjoy your meal in the screened in porch. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and quality linens, as do the other two bedrooms, one with a queen and one with 2 twins beds. Relax downstairs in the family room, watch a movie, or cozy up by the wood burning stove. Short drive to the town of Woodstock ! Close to skiing, hiking & swim holes! $50 extra for dogs. No cats. Use hot tub at your own risk. The whole home is yours except the garage remains closed. Always available if any issues arise, but not on the property. The house is set back on a private road. It's a genuine retreat, but still only a short drive from the shops and restaurants of Woodstock and Saugerties. Local hikes abound, and venture a little further to find swimming holes and skiing. If you have a small child, I suggest bringing a gate as there are stairs to the basement.

Great quality sublet in upstate New York. Furnished with sophisticated upscale furniture (yet very cozy and comfortable), large rooms (super comfortable beds), new bathrooms and excellent outdoor amenities like a large hot tub and a fire pit. Two things that set this place apart: (a) the atmosphere - this is a modern mid century cabin feel with a lot of attention put into small details: fantastic classic Hi-Fi receiver and speakers (with a turntable and LPs if you don't want to stream music), great sofa and Eames chair, a heat stove and fire place and a large TV with many streaming choices all make your time in the living room feel special. (b) The host - Omar is attentive, incredibly friendly and proactive. He did above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and was available for anything we needed. We barely left the house because we had such a great time there. Will absolutely come again.

We had a wonderful stay here. We really enjoyed the beautiful views and sitting by a fire in the wood burner. The house can get cold in winter (we came in late March) but once the heating comes on and/or the fire is lit, it feels good! This was a great place to explore the local area. We had a lovely lunch at Double Up in Parksville, and enjoyed visiting Livingston Manor.

I stayed here with my two sons 7yo and 4yo and we had a blast. We didn't get to take advantage of the lake activities because it unfortunately snowed (in April) so we switched gears and just enjoyed cozy indoor time within this tiny gem of a home with it's fireplace, a few movies on the large TV, some time in the hot tub and ran around in the huge yard. Just what my kids needed to get away from NYC. Kitchen is small and definitely requires some pre-planning... Luckily I accounted for the mini fridge space and brought lots of nonperishable foods (but Dariusz did mention earlier in the day that we should stop at a grocery store to avoid any surprises as well) Used their grill and kitchen and even made a quick firepit s'mores activity with the kiddos. Overall a memorable few days with my two sons and I hope to come back here on the next DAdventure we have.

Sarah’s place is a gem in the Catskill Mts…a quiet, peaceful retreat tucked away amongst beautiful evergreen trees. We walked in and were immediately greeted with a fresh smell; the place smelled brand new, not old and musty which is common for countryside homes. The apartment is a perfectly sized studio for 2, though the high ceilings with skylights in every space make it feel much, much bigger. The gas fireplace provided a perfect cozy feel and was surprisingly warm! The location is central to outdoor recreation, dining, meditation/retreat centers, groceries…you name it, it’s close by! I look forward to staying here in the future.

We came for a winter weekend as a couple. There were plenty of places open to eat, drink, and adventure nearby, which was a little bit of a concern being from out of town and not used to the area. We also loved having the small supermarket nearby to enjoy some meals at the “cabin”! The place itself was great for a restful and peaceful stay. The hot tub was great after a day on the mountain! After we got a snowstorm the last night, the plow guy even shoveled our car out and the decks for us without asking! Great stay, and would come again. Thanks!

We had an incredible experience at The Pratt Rock! The house was beautiful, cozy, and perfect for our ski week. The hot tub was fantastic, set against a stunning natural stone wall—such a unique and relaxing spot. The deck was great, and the wood stove was one of the best I’ve ever used. A thoughtful touch that really stood out was the junk drawer, stocked with all the little things you might unexpectedly need—batteries, zip ties, duct tape—making it feel just like home. Overall, it was a perfect stay, and we’d absolutely come back! Highly recommend.

I’m so happy we found this spot! Felt like a home away from home especially for parents with young kids. It was equipped with everything we could possibly need to have a comfortable trip away with kids without the need to pack all the baby gear. I was so impressed. The home is cute and cozy, the beds were very comfortable, great natural lighting and great ambiance with the lighting options inside. I honestly can’t say enough positive things about this adorable home.
