We had the best time at this villa! Everything about it was just perfect. The space is beautifully designed, with such great taste in decor—it feels cozy, stylish, and really well thought-out. You can tell a lot of care went into the layout, because everything just flows and works so well, whether you’re chilling in the living room, cooking together in the kitchen, or lounging outside. The bathrooms were a real highlight too—modern, clean, and super comfortable, with great water pressure (which is always a bonus!). We especially loved how each room had its own vibe while still keeping that cohesive, laid-back luxury feel. Breakfasts were a dream—fresh, tasty, and the perfect way to start the day. We stayed here for 2 days. The rooms are clean. The ambiance around the property is peaceful. Hosts are very humble and welcoming. They provided us extra fresh fruits for our baby. The food (breakfast and lunch/dinner) provided is local home cooked, freshly prepared and tasty. Do try the floating breakfast which is one of a kind experience in itself. Wayan is a fantastic host! Very proactive, very helpful. He went above and beyond and made sure our stay was perfect! He gave the best recommendations and was always a call away to drive us or guide us to get to the places we wanted to visit. His wife cooks yummy food and makes sure the house is clean at all time. The smoothie bowls were to die for!

I Ketut’s place was absolutely perfect. It was far enough away from the busyness from Ubud but not too far to scooter into the centre. This was made even better with the scooter rental available at I Ketuts home. His family were so friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was included and restaurant quality! If you need any recommendations I Ketut was able to provide. I would recommend his home in a heart beat.

The property is awesome. Very spacious and beautiful, with a view of rice fields all around. For people who want a peaceful place, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is it! Dont look any further. Mr. Ngakan was super-helpful - got us whatever we needed, including local transport, helped us plan for sightseeing. His wife made us a delicious dinner spread. The breakfast that was included in the package was awesome as well. Probably one of my best airbnb experiences. 10 on 10.

Great location, very quiet and peaceful area yet very close to central Ubud with a lot of nice restaurants and activities. The host is super friendly, helpful and responsive. You can also rent a bike from him directly. Great stay!

This place was great! Beautiful house decorated with beautiful art and a wide range of plants throughout. Very spacious and nice big outdoor area and pool. Also super close to shops and restaurants all in walking distance. The host is fantastic with responding to all queries quickly and went above and beyond in making sure our stay went well. Ayu, who comes daily to clean the house was also really lovely! And full of good suggestions etc re supermarkets close by and with advice on things to do with kids etc. Would highly recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful week, celebrating my husband’s 60th birthday. The villa was very well located: a short walk to a large supermarket, shopping, restaurants and great massages. It’s a hidden oasis! Komang and Gede were sooooo friendly and helpful: their daily breakfasts were very yummy and very filling: we didn’t go hungry! They ensured our rooms and the living spaces of the villa were always clean. It was great to chat with them too, about local culture and their families. They were absolutely full of smiles and appreciated a good laugh. Komang has a lovely, cheeky sense of humour. We’re so glad that we booked this villa for our holiday. Would definitely recommend.

This place is an absolute Heaven. Tucked away in a quaint little corner of Ubud. The place has an amazing view of rice fields with the elevated covered deck giving beautiful setting to enjoy the sunrise and sunsets alike. And The host Made is one of the nicest person you would ever meet. An absolute gem with a heart of gold looking after the smallest needs of the guests. And Yes The Complimentary Breakfast provided by him is a wonderful treat. We shall be back here again.

It was one of the best experiences of my entire trip. The host was great and charming, she was attentive to me at all times. The house is simply breathtaking.

We had an exceptional stay at this villa. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, with great kindness and special attention throughout our stay. The view of the rice fields is simply breathtaking — a true haven of peace, with no noise in the surroundings, making the experience even more relaxing. Our hosts were extremely attentive, always ready to help meet our needs, even with last-minute requests. Their hospitality truly made a difference and made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is ideal: just a 25 minute scooter ride from Ubud, yet far enough removed to enjoy a peaceful and authentic environment. The access is easy, which is a real plus. The free breakfast was delicious and we paid extra to enjoy the beautifully decorated floating breakfast. We recommend this accommodation 200%, whether for a short or long stay. Villa Loti was stunning. The view was just beautiful. The neighbor Ibu provided us with delicious food and Koplo was available to us at all times. The villa is in an absolutely quiet location. Perfect to escape the stressful Bali for a few days.

What can I say about Sunset Sala? Except beautiful beautiful beautiful. Anyone who rubbishes this place needs to have their head red. The people who run. It are the absolute salt of the Earth beautiful down to earth caring and nurturing people. You will find anywhere on the planet. This is my fifth return to this place in about 15 years and I will always come back. It has never changed except just improved. These treat you people like family and will always have a special place in my heart.

Absolutely fabulous stay. Gorgeous room and really lovely staff. We loved the hammock and the net platform area, which the staff supplied a doona for and it really extended the outdoor living area. Food was good and not overly expensive (there’s nowhere else to go nearby) with a choice of room service or restaurant dining. The hot stone massage was outstanding!

Great stay although was only for 3 nights as we travelled around Bali. Such a wonderful property and grounds with an amazing sea view vista to wake up to. The pool and gardens are very well looked after and all the staff were really nice, caring and went out of their way to make our stay as relaxing as possible. Boat trip to see dolphins with pick up from the front of the house by boat was excellent - swimming with the dolphins was an amazing experience. It's a shame the beach does have a lot of rubbish that gets washed up but this is a wider Bali issue not unique to this area. This didn't detract from what was an amazing stay. Thank you all

My husband and I spent a wonderful month working remotely at Villa Baruna. Dayu, our housekeeper/ cook, made our time there particularly special. She is so warm & helpful and getting to know her a bit was a highlight. Made (gardener) & Putu Agus (night guard) were also great. The house looks like the photos. Pool is fabulous. We slept in the upstairs room and were able to get a mosquito net put up so that we could sleep with the doors open. Internet was reliable. We both enjoyed working at the outdoor dining table. The fans help but mosquito repellent is necessary. Lovina is a nice, small town. We enjoyed several evenings out, including wandering. 10th Table was good. House manager, Ketut, or the restaurants can arrange transportation. We didn’t use the beach or swim in the ocean at all. The garbage is heartbreaking and is more than just poor waste management in Bali. The plastic comes from everywhere and was a stark reminder to us that we need to make better choices ourselves.

We immediately felt at home in this beautiful and tastefully furnished villa! Warmly welcomed by the good souls of the house, we were also pampered in the next few days with kindness, helpfulness and great food. The garden is wonderfully maintained, the huge pool crystal clear and clean - we didn't want to leave at all. The beach was also unusually clean, so we could swim in the sea. I recommend this villa, for those who love silence and homely atmosphere!)) Beautiful place with a chic 12 meter swimming pool and access to your private beach with the ocean three meters from the villa! I stayed with my family for a week, everyone really liked it!! As for me, there is one small disadvantage, an old-style TV, without the ability to connect to the Internet ( Everything else is super super!!!

We stayed here for almost a month and it was a great choice. We had been traveling for two months before this location and we wanted some peace and quiet and a relaxing space. That is exactly what we got. The house is beautiful and the staff amazing. One of the features of this house is that the staff will cook for you. Well, we tried all the Balinese dishes and then some, and everything was so good I wish I could take Ilou and Putu home with me. After eating out for two months it was nice to have home cooked meals made from scratch. The staff really took good care of us and we will miss them. If you are looking for a nice peaceful relaxing space, this is definitely the place for you. :))

The Villa is located about two and half hours from the airport and the large resorts. If you want to experience Bali the way it was before being loved to death, this villa will exceed your expectations. We were met by a driver with a comfortable SUV at the airport who transferred us to the villa. The driver and vehicle were available the entire time. It is my understanding that being taken close by did not have a cost. Having the driver take you around the island for the day had an additional cost. Confirm this with Susi. Balian beach and a few restaurants are located about ten minutes away. The staff kept the villa clean, and provided fresh towels. Breakfast was included, lunch and dinner, prepared by the staff are for sale from a menu. My wife and I purchased wine at the airport and stopped at a grocery store on the drive to the villa. The pictures of the villa are an accurate representation. Had toy's for young children. We are taking home a memorable experience.

The villa is breathtaking! The pictures do not give it justice! It is absolutely stunning in every aspect! Attention to details is impeccable. Must say we rented both Villas (Villa Buddha and Villa Samora) that are adjacent to each other and the overall compound made it seem even more beautiful and unique. We had 21 people for both villas staying comfortable however pay attention to the Balinese style open ceiling description of the bedrooms if you are looking for complete privacy. Monique is an amazing host and the stuff is unbelievable! They made our event unforgettable! Can’t be more grateful and would not hesitate to come back and recommend to anyone this paradise experience.
