Very nice house! Host Dalie lives next door and was very friendly. Privat parking in front of the house. It was very warm in the house in winter season. We felt like home and highly recommend this place.

We had an amazing time at Ilzes place. It was very clean,cozy and welcoming.The guest house Ķemeri is located in a rural area,which was what we were looking for. It is great for people who want to have a break from a busy city life. We enjoyed the horseriding that can be booked separately with hosts.Our time at Ilzes place was during Christmas period and we also booked Christmas dinner at the Restaurant run by the hosts.Christmas dinner was very very tasty and traditional. Thank you so much from all members of our family for a great time you gave us.

Marius is a great host. The Barn is an amazing place, full of inspiration, wonderful views, silence. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, then choose this place. The area looks phenomenal in May and the idyllic views make for great walks. I will definitely be going back there!

We had a fabulous stay at this very nice and well appointed house. Nestled in a beautiful forest setting and walking distance to the lake. We spent our fishing holidays here and were able to fish from the boat (additionally rentable directly on site) as well as from the shore. On site Igor was a perfect and very helpful host and looked all around for our well-being. We would come back any time!

The location of the place is perfect if you want a break from the hustle and bustle of the city - peaceful, green and with a beautiful view. There was an opportunity to use both the sauna and the cube and watch the beautiful sunset. The place was well equipped and tastefully decorated, the stay was very comfortable. Only thing was the water quality in the bath room could have been a little better.

Great stay, fantastic place to stay. we were 4 families with young children and everything was there for comfortable stay. Definitely staying again. Only thing - no shampoo in bathrooms and coffee and tea would be nice. Otherwise great stay, a lot of positive emotions. House clean and beds comfortable.

An unreal piece of paradise from civilization in a remote area. A farmhouse filled with natural beauty and sounds, a cherished environment and a very tastefully furnished accommodation. The host Neringa is prompt, explains how to get to the farmhouse (leads a lot of rogue forest roads, so I highly recommend not to repeat our mistake to contact Neringa when you reach Zarasus - will explain how to find the farmhouse on the simplest way). The dogs and cat in the farmhouse are infinitely sweet and friendly - children and us, very brightened the mood. We had a super, very cozy overnight stay. It was a shame to leave the farmhouse and continue the planned trip - here would love to stay and get away from everything for much longer :)

We were five friends who wanted to spend a weekend away from the city. We spent three days and two nights at the hosts, they welcomed us at the frontstep very well. The instructions were clear. The accommodation was very clean, bigger than we expected according to the photos. The surprising facts were that the 2nd floor is barricaded (under construction), the hot tub at an additional cost works with a wood fireplace and finally that the water is very sulfurized given the location of the cottage. The place is very peaceful, the house is new and very well made, the beds/sheets/towels/sofa/kitchen tools/coffee and more... everything was there and clean! We did not lack anything and despite our plans to go to town during the day we decided to stay at the chalet since we were extremely comfortable there. We had a great weekend and thank you for it. Looking forward to seeing you again one day! We highly recommend this accommodation

I can't express enough how fantastic our experience was staying at this countryside house in Latgale! From start to finish, everything was simply perfect. First of all, the hosts were incredibly hospitable, offering valuable tips about local attractions and activities. The house itself was extremely comfortable and cozy. Every detail was carefully thought out – from the comfortable bedding to the fully equipped kitchen that had everything needed to prepare delicious meals. The interior was authentic and reflected the culture of the Latgale region, creating a truly unique atmosphere. The outdoor environment was breathtakingly beautiful. The house was surrounded by vast meadows and forests, providing excellent opportunities for walks. In the evenings, we enjoyed the peace and quiet, sitting by the campfire and watching the stars. And best of all - an amazing banya/sauna near the river. Recommending to everyone

The place is amazing - lots of space outside, very private and cozy. No neighbours around, its just you and the peace of nature. Perfect for a getaway from the bustling city. The inside of the house is clean, cozy and well furnished. The outside patio is great, along with a spacious hot tub, a grill, and an access to the lake. There is also a rowboat, and a water bike that fits 4 people, that you can use. We will definitely come back here in the future!

We had a truly wonderful stay at beautiful home! Traveling with three kids and our cat can be a challenge, but everything here felt easy, warm, and welcoming from the very first moment. Elena is an incredibly kind and friendly host — always ready to help, yet giving us all the space we needed. Her hospitality made us feel genuinely cared for. The house itself is lovely, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged, with every little detail taken care of. The children had plenty of room to play, and even our cat settled in as if he had lived there forever! The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, and the location is simply perfect — a true haven to rest and enjoy.

If you are looking for peaceful spot away from everyone - this is it! In the middle of literally nowhere, even poor phone zone. Nice sauna, river for swimming. Birds chirping, peaceful place.

We had a great weekend celebrating our annual family reunion. The house is large and spacious and lovely, clean and private. They have lots of activities included such as paddle boards, fishing, rowing etc and a bbq and smoker to cook meats. Beautiful location and scenery. This place is magical!
