Perfect stop off. We were on a road trip following the Natchez Trace Parkway. This is next to the trace and a perfect stop off on the way to Nashville. David is very friendly and his coffee shop round the corner is a good way to start the day.

Took a weekend to spend with my hubby. We wanted wooded area, fishing, hiking and relaxing. We got that at Debra’s. Place was perfectly decorated, clean and cozy. Easy to find and close to Tishomingo State Park. Due to the weather and our to do list, we didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit or hammocks. When the weather took a turn for the worse Debra messaged us and directed us to a safe place and checked on us. I would definitely recommend staying. Hubby caught more fish than me so we might have to come back for a rematch 😄

A very sweet place to stay- an old house refurbished to a homey and cozy cottage. The decor is simple and pleasing. A full kitchen stocked with all you need, including a delicious surprise- a fresh loaf of homemade bread! My hubby was delighted! Christy is kind and considerate, making sure you have all you need, plus some. She’s committed for you to have a good stay. I recommend staying here.

This is the second time I’ve stayed at the old post office. It’s convenient, comfortable, and charming. She’s done a perfect job reclaiming this old building for you to spend a night or two. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom are perfect, and there’s workspace (I’m a writer researching a book in this area). It’s right in the middle of town so walking about is a pleasure as well. Stay here and you’ll love it too.

The house was great. Everything we needed and close to the lake. Friendly neighbors. The only thing I feel needs to be addressed is access the driveway with a boat. I would suggest making the driveway a little wider at the road allowing you to make a turn.

I recently stayed at an Airbnb hosted by Melanie, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. The place was impeccably clean, which immediately made us feel at home. The beds were not only comfortable but also spotless, ensuring we had a great night's sleep. The little green cottage was incredibly cute and beautifully decorated. What truly stood out was the extra touch of including toiletries, which made our stay even more enjoyable. This worked extremely well for our Scout troop to stay while we visited / hiked the Shiloh National Battleground. The cabin was very spacious and has enough room for leaders and scouts alike. We played the board games and really enjoyed the central kitchen to be able to gather at meal time.

What a great place to stay in the Florence, AL area! We had plenty of hiking we wanted to accomplish, but the lake house was so cozy and inviting we were a little torn on weather we should just spend a whole day lounging. Beautiful scenery on the TN River. Hiking at Cane Creek Canyon Nature Preserve was fantastic, and the visit to Dismals Canyon was incredible as well. Thank you for the recommendations!
