Charming log cabin with stunning views of both Rondane and Jotunheimen 20 min from Otta. Here you can enjoy peaceful days with spectacular nature just outside the door. The Ulafosses are 5 minutes walk from the cabin and you hear the rush from the Ulafosses from the porch. The cabin is a perfect starting point for mountain trips in Rondane National Park, and several of Rondanes 2000 meters peaks. The cabin has 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen. Water must be carried in and there is outhouse. The cabin has electricity, and there are car roads throughout the year.

Water is collected from the spring 100 m away in the summer, or at Kiwi. In winter, water is collected at the convenience store, 5 minutes away by car. Pleasant outdoors. There are 3 fishing lakes nearby. Within walking distance of one. Here's a boat ready to go. Laundry: The cabin must be washed and handed over in the same condition as on arrival. Washing can be ordered for 1000,-

Cozy older cottage, simple standar with a central location on Mysusæter at the foot of Rondane National Park. Easy access with year-round 15 mins from Otta. Here the whole family can relax in quiet surroundings. Great hiking opportunities all year round. Out on the courtyard you can see and hear the rush from Ulfossen, which is a popular hiking destination, as well as several of the mighty mountains in Rondane. In winter there are uphill ski slopes that extend over many miles. This you have access to only 150-200 meters from the cabin.

Det er sommervei helt inn til hytta, og parkeringsplass. Veien er vinterstengt, med skiløyper fra bommen og helt inn i nasjonalparken. Om vinteren er det parkeringsmuligheter på Mysusæter til 50 kr. dagen. Det er 700 m å gå fra bommen til hytta. Skutertransport kan leies. Vann og strøm. Dyr tillat.

Welcome to a private and pet-friendly mountain cabin, 980 MASL, just one kilometer from the national park boundary. Here, you are surrounded by powerful landscapes. The cabin does not have running water. Stream water is available before frost. There is no indoor toilet, but there is an outdoor toilet in the outbuilding. From the cabin, there are trails and ski tracks leading into the mountains. In winter you must ski or arrange for a snowmobile for the last three kilometers up to the cabin.

It is located between three beautiful national parks - Jutunheimen, Rondane and Dovre. It is also next to one of the best rivers for rafting in northern Europe - Sjoa. There are plenty of outdoor activities during the summer and winter - skiing, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, and rafting.

Simple standard with wood burning stove, gas stove, bio toilet suitable for anyone who wants to live a bit simple. Very good starting point for hiking both on foot and with bike in the nearby area, Jotunheimen, Rondane etc. Includes bathing jetty and boat.

Beautiful and spacious home! Lovely view of the hillside. House is really cozy and lots of space. Very quiet and peaceful. So close to town yet we felt like we were in a remote spot! Definitely recommend. Borgy was so helpful- she alerted us to a road closure due to flooding the morning we were leaving for the airport- super helpful.

Friendly welcome, helpful but not intrusive. There was clean bedding and towels included in the price and even a basket with chocolate and crisps, coffee, tea, pasta and sauce etc!!

Have enjoyed Elisabeth's house this Easter weekend. Cozy place with very nice and helpful hostess. We want to be able to rent it in the future as well.

A last minute hitch meant we stayed at The Pearl rather than The Forgotten. Erik met us to help us check in and show us the facilities and was very responsive when contacted. The Pearl was amazing - beautifully furnished, great views, peaceful location. We enjoyed hiking in the area and particularly the musk ox safari from Dovrefjell Lodge.

Annet is very friendly.Very patiently helped us register and use the camp's charging equipment.There is a small river next to the house, and the view from the window is very pleasant.This was our first time staying at a Norwegian camp, and it was a great experience.

We had a great time at the cabin! We spent our time by exploring the snow covered mountains and going to the sauna afterwards. Everything was very cozy and we felt very comfortable here. We would love to come again sometime:-)

We had the most amazing time in Jan's & Siri's cabin. The view is absolutely stunning! The cabin is water side and has an unobstructed view of Rondane National Park. You can hike, go on the lake with a boat or do a bike tour. The outdoor options are endless. The cabin itself is freshly renovated to a very high standard. Everything is looks cozy and old, but is brand new. You have floor heating in the bathroom and the small living room. The windows, the floor, the walls, the room, everything is brand new or meticulously renovated. The two living rooms allow you to get some distance from your friends, if you need it, and the couches are cozy enough to take a quick nap… I tried. The Wi-Fi is fast, and you have 5G everywhere, so you can always make your friends jealous on social media. There is a small shop nearby that bakes its own bread and carries the basics. We had the most wonderful time and will certainly be back. Thank you so much for having us!

The cabin is really very cozy, a good place to switch off from everyday life. The best thing is the fireplace with as much wood as you want. Sufficient water was provided in canisters. Only the outside toilet is only for people who can really live simply... I felt very comfortable with my dogs. The directions were a bit confusing but Kari led me to the hut herself. Thanks Kari!

Authentic cabin by Rondane National Park

Great homey cabin with amazing surroundings. The cabin is located right next to the "portal" into Rondane National Park. Out of the living room window you can glow out towards massive mountains on the horizon and a trickling stream that snakes down and past the cabin. We were here in the transition August/ September when it is starting to fall in the mountains, and it was like being in a national romantic painting. All in all, a great trip where we had good communication with the host if there should be anything we were wondering about. I recommend going here.
