Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Seia Municipality

We had a fantastic family stay at Casa da Ti Dores in Cativelos! The house is full of charm, beautifully restored, and very comfortable for families. It had everything we needed — cozy rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a peaceful setting. The warm pool was the highlight for all of us — absolutely stunning and perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the area. Our kids loved it, and so did we! The village is quiet and welcoming, and it’s a great base for discovering Serra da Estrela. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel right at home. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing, authentic getaway. We hope to return!

Nossa estadia foi espetacular, sem palavras !!! O espaço é extremamente confortável, bem equipado e muito aconchegante. A localização é perfeita, com fácil acesso a Estaçao de Esqui. Além disso, o anfitrião foi muito atencioso e prestativo, garantindo uma experiência tranquila e agradável. Sem dúvida, recomendo e volterei com certeza !!!

Der Aufenthalt in Retiro do Ribeiro war großartig und Henrique und sein Vater sind vorzügliche Gastgeber. Das Haus ist wunderschön in der Altstadt Cativelos gelegen. Ein Auto ist von Vorteil, aber man kann auch mit Zug, Bus und Taxi anreisen.

Adorámos estar hospedados em casa do João, que desde sempre o primeiro contacto foi um excelente anfitrião. A casa tem tudo o que necessita e é super confortável. Recomendo e esperamos voltar! Um grande bem haja!

Amamos nossa estadia na casa moenda, a D. Rosa muito simpática, sempre com um sorriso a mão, a filha Sara muito atenciosa respondia sempre todas as nossas mensagens, a casa nossa, amei o fato de ser antiga senti-me em casa da minha avó, e os meu amigos compartilham o mesmo sentimento, amamos, pena que durou pouco, mas se Deus quiser voltaremos! beijinhos D. Rosa e Sara, até breve! ☺️

Gostámos muito do espaços e de todas as condições, exceto o excesso de luz em alguns quartos. Ainda assim esse pormenor não estragou a experiência, que foi fantástica. A comunicação com a anfitriã foi rápida e simpática resolvendo as dúvidas que apresentei. O preço pago foi claramente um factor positivo, dadas todas as condições disponibilizadas. Aconselho.

Lugar muito pacífico e maravilhoso! Casa de familia, me senti em casa. Lugar para quem gosta de ficar no meio do mato e em silêncio! Todos do vilarejo muito simpaticos, o lugar é longe mas vale a pena a visita e conhecer, muita paz!

For the place itself this would be a 4-star review because some things which were important for us were missing. But because of Susan's availability and proneness to improve, I decided to give it a 5-star instead. While the apartment is cosy and has most of the basics one needs for short stays, it was also missing some things which we repute important for our working from and cooking at home. Such as firm table, a comfortable chair and more utensils for the kitchen. The place is great if you want to have time for yourself in simplicity, especially because the general curated atmosphere really supports this, but not that much if you work from home and like to cook at home. That said I'm sure that Susan will take care in the future of arranging these aspects better with her guests.

Logement très propre, environnement paisible. Lianne et son époux sont sympathiques et nous ont bien accueilli. Les enfants ont adoré la piscine.

We hadden een geweldig verblijf bij Dini. Prachtig gelegen, midden in de natuur, met mooie uitzichten, brandschoon en alle voorzieningen aanwezig (zelfs een teiltje). Dini en Antonio zijn erg vriendelijk en gastvrij! Ze doen er alles aan om je een aangenaam verblijf te geven. Bedankt!

Tivemos uma estadia incrível !! Sentimo-nos em casa. Casa limpa, com todos os utensílios básicos e necessários. A comunicação com os anfitriões foi ótima. Muito simpáticos e disponíveis. A localização é mais do que excelente. O cheirinho dos lençóis lavados foi dos pontos altos😍. É bom sentirmo-nos em casa, fora de casa. Sem dúvida que voltarei! Que experiência incrível!! Rita ist ein herzensguter Mensch. Wir haben uns wie Zuhause gefühlt. Die Unterkunft war super. Rita hat uns Obst aus ihrem Garten gegeben und war immer für uns da. Ich empfehle einen Urlaub in Rita's Air BnB zu 200% :-) gerne wieder!

Very kind and helpful, understanding to our specific check-in needs since we needed to arrive a little later and he even started the fireplace ahead of time. He went above and beyond, getting us a tart pan so we could make a dessert after we just had the silly will to do so

We absolutely loved it! Beautiful house with a beautiful view of the area. Greet is a great host. Very kind and helpful. We had a problem with our car and got to walk to a beautiful spot just outside the village and the near by mechanic fixed it super fast. A great place to stay and go out to the different beauty spots around. Highly recommended.
